Texas’s Abortion Barbie Wendy Davis, who’s famous for her pink shoes and filibuster catheter, is trying desperately to link her handicapped opponent to some kind of racist with the KKK who wants to ban interracial marriages, in spite of the glaring fact that Abbot’s wife is Hispanic. In fact, if Abbot is elected Governor, his wife will be Texas’s first Hispanic First Lady. It’s almost like Davis doesn’t want to win. I wonder why she hates Hispanic women so much.
“Greg Abbott won’t say whether he’d defend an interracial marriage ban—troubling but not surprising from someone who defends a ‘poll tax.’”
Davis seems to be referring to an interview Abbott gave with the editorial board of the San Antonio Express.
“Right now, if there was a ban on interracial marriage, that’s already been ruled unconstitutional,” Abbott told the board. “And all I can do is deal with the issues that are before me … The job of an attorney general is to represent and defend in court the laws of their client, which is the state Legislature, unless and until a court strikes it down.”
Davis doubled down on Twitter about an hour later, posting a graphic with the same message.
This is Davis’s last-ditch effort to get out the vote to her black followers, who unfortunately will follow anyone with a D after their name.
