USDA Required Employees To Chant: “The Pilgrims Were Illegal Aliens!” In Sensitivity Training

Jon Voight said: “This lie of political correctness is bringing this country down. You just want to break through it all.” We live in a country that is increasingly haunted by the specter of political correctness. For many years, American Liberals have been scrambling to correct the wrongs of the past with words. They truly believe that if we are forced to chant mantras and take 2 week sensitivity training classes, this world will become a better place. They have changed the names of groups of people, and recategorized events in history; all in an effort to make people feel better. What they don’t realize is that it is an extraordinary waste of money; and the only people that end up feeling better are the Liberals.

Through a Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, it was discovered that several years ago, the USDA forced its employees to go through a sort of sensitivity training. Now, sensitivity training is somewhat common for corporations, but the extent to which the USDA went, at the cost it demanded, was laughable.

At the cost of $200,000, the USDA acquired sensitivity training videos for their employees, by Samuel Betances. Here are several excerpts from the videos:

“I want you to say that American was founded by outsiders – say that – who are today’s insiders, who are very nervous about today’s outsiders. I want you to say, ‘The pilgrims were illegal aliens.’ Say, ‘The pilgrims never gave their passports to the Indians.’”

“By the way, I don’t like the word ‘minorities.’ How about ‘emerging majorities?’”

After the former section, Betances asks employees to “give him a BAM!”

What purpose does this serve? What can be gained by the employees of the USDA through watching these $200,000 videos. Nothing. The only thing these videos accomplish is making the Liberal establishment feel good about themselves.

Liberals just love to open up wounds. They love to tear off healing tissue to expose the rawness beneath; and force everyone to look at it. Political correctness not only serves to annoy the rest of us, it unnecessarily makes us retread unpleasant issues that have long been resolved.

This video–at the reasonable price of $200,000–accomplishes nothing; but it does make the USDA look like a laughing stock. Political correctness is killing us one word at a time.
