“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.” – Winston Churchill
A lie is only as important as the people it affects. The entire purpose of a lie is to influence people, and get them to believe what you are saying. Lies are the instruments of someone who needs to be believed, and who doesn’t have the facts. If someone has the truth in their side, why would they ever need to lie? Those who lie are always promoting something false.
Thomas Piketty, an economist heralded by the left as a god among men, recently published a book discussing wealth inequality. Liberals are praising Piketty, and touting him as some kind of genius, all because his ideology fits within the framework of their own beliefs. He’s a Marxist, in essence. He believes in higher taxes, and many other liberal economic staples. But according to The Financial Times, Piektty’s work may not be quite accurate:
“The data underpinning Professor Piketty’s 577-page tome, which has dominated best-seller lists in recent weeks, contain a series of errors that skew his findings. The FT found mistakes and unexplained entries in his spreadsheets, similar to those which last year undermined the work on public debt and growth of Carmen Reinhart and Kenneth Rogoff.”
The gist of the findings is that Piketty’s numbers are skewed to favor his beliefs. First, duh. Second, why is it a surprise? Liberals lie. They have always lied, and they always will lie. The methods by which they pass off their tricks may vary, but in the end, their claims are always less than truthful. So to discover that a liberal economist has possibly skewed his numbers should not surprise anyone who knows how this game is played.
More importantly though, this discovery should embolden conservatives to look deeper. We know, as a general rule, that liberal philosophy is built upon numerous lies, and if we pull the right strings, we can dismantle their entire establishment. Piketty’s lies are just another example in a long list of liberal misinformation.
Conservatives have become frightened by the left, to the point that they will not dig into a liberal lie, for fear of being labeled as racists, or xenophobes, or whatever. But we know that the left lies. If we don’t do our best to uncover the truth, we are no better than they. The string is right in front of us, and all we have to do is pull it. All we have to do is be aggressive; take the lead, and push back.
The left does whatever they want, and they rely on the fact that we won’t fight back. We can’t be afraid anymore. It’s time that we take the fight to them. Piketty is a liar, and the entire liberal movement is based on lies. It’s time we take a step toward them for a change. If we don’t, we won’t ever win again.
