Melissa Harris-Perry: Is Everything about Race?

It wasn’t that long ago that ex-reporter Vester Lee Flanagan went off his rocker and killed a couple former co-workers, probably out of revenge because he got fired, and his white “racist” co-workers got to keep their jobs. He was one of these types that read into every little thing people said. If someone mentioned working “in the field,” Flanagan knew it was a racial slur referring to slaves working in the cotton fields. If Flanagan were still alive and had his way, he’d probably Read more […]

The Subtle Micro-Aggression and the Ubiquitous Taking of Offense

Being offended is our generation’s version of being right. Because, obviously, if someone is offending you, he is wrong. In that cultural milieu, the subtle merchants of insult detection have created ever finer instruments to amplify even the smallest traces of political incorrectness. Take the micro-aggression, for instance. Apparently ceding the point that outright and authentic aggressions are harder and harder to come by in our neutered society, some people have started trying to expunge Read more […]

KKK Member Confronted for Wearing FUBU Sneakers at Confederate Flag Rally

Journalist George Chidi was covering a Georgia Confederate Battle Flag rally when he noticed a man in the rally wearing FUBU athletic shoes. The man also had a “KKK tattoo.” So Chidi “confronted” the man, apparently a “walking contradiction” (groan): The equal-opportunity shoe shopper had obviously put some thought into his attire that day as he, like others, wore a red shirt to match the Confederate flag. He probably thought the red, black and white shoes would fit in well with his Read more […]

1964 Civil Rights Act Expanded to Include LGBT Applicants

The LGBT lobby has yet another notch in its belt. The 1964 Civil Rights Act has now been interpreted to protect LGBT workers from discrimination: In the past, courts have ruled that Title VII does not cover discrimination based on sexual orientation because it’s not explicitly mentioned in the law, but the EEOC’s ruling disputes that reasoning. “Sexual orientation discrimination is sex discrimination because it necessarily entails treating an employee less favorably because of the employee’s Read more […]

Black Professor Barely Reprimanded for Horribly Racist Tweets

Do you want actual racial equality? Do you desire actual racial harmony? I have news for you: you’re in the minority. It seems even the most ardent champions fighting against racism are often avowed racists. Case in point: Dr. Saida Grundy, a black professor set to start teaching at Boston University on July 1. She decided it was a good idea to get on Twitter and pontificate in a most scholarly fashion concerning the obstacles that need to be destroyed in order to achieve racial equality. Unfortunately, Read more […]

Black Students Get Field Trip to College; No Whites Allowed

But the teachers insist they’re not being exclusionary or discriminatory. In fact, since they took the third-graders on a blacks-only field trip to college to benefit black kids, it can’t be exclusionary or discriminatory. Now, if it were a whites-only field trip, that would be exclusionary, discriminatory, bigoted and a racial hate crime. They say it benefits the blacks, because such low numbers of black kids enter college. Plenty of whites already go to college, so they’re practically Read more […]

Black College Students Become Obese Because of White Racists

For whatever reason, this “study” done by a psychology professor didn’t cover any reasons that white students might put on weight during their college years. But according to this professor, black kids who put on weight during their time in college do so because of racism. Overeating fatty snacks is a way that blacks cope with racial attacks from others, which contributes to their gaining weight. This of course also leads to other health problems. The Daily Caller reported: The professor, Read more […]

College Student Gets Robbed at Gunpoint; Blames Himself for Being “Privileged”

A Georgetown University student recently wrote an op-ed in The Hoya about his experience getting robbed at gunpoint and how it was all because of his “privilege.” He said that he understood why the robbers did what they did, and that if we could only solve our income inequality problems, there would be no more robberies. He and a housemate were robbed at gunpoint while they were on their way home one night. They were forced to the ground while the robbers patted them down for valuables. Oliver Read more […]

Congressional Black Caucus Chairman: We Lost Midterms Because of Southern, White Racism

The Chair(wo)man of the Congressional Black Caucus is playing the race card. Her name is Marcia Fudge. Yes, that is her real name. (Is it racist of me to think that it’s kind of funny that the head of the Black Caucus is named Fudge?) And why is there a Congressional Black Caucus anyway? Can you imagine the scandal that would be given wall-to-wall coverage if white Republicans got together and formed the Congressional White Caucus? This is why it’s funny to me that the head of this Congressional Read more […]

Liberal Demeans Blacks to Oppose Voter ID Laws

Liberal calls Blacks “less sophisticated” voters as justification for opposing voter ID laws. “Racism springs from the lie that certain human beings are less than fully human.” – Alveda King One of the more glaring inconsistencies within liberal philosophy is in their attitude toward black people, and minorities in general. On one hand, they claim to be the fighters of racial injustice–which apparently makes them the sole arbiters of what is, and is not racist–while on the other hand, Read more […]

Yesterday was Indigenous People’s Day

According to Seattle, yesterday was Indigenous People’s Day. Not Columbus Day: The name change comes after activists pushed for a day to honor indigenous people instead of Christopher Columbus, the most recognizable figure linked to European contact with the Americas. “This is about taking a stand against racism and discrimination,” Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant told the Seattle Times. “Learning about the history of Columbus and transforming this day into a celebration of Read more […]

Black School Girl Beat Up for Acting ‘Too Much Like a White Person’

I’ve noticed that since Barack Obama took office in January 2009 and quickly named Eric Holder to be his legal puppet that the issue of race in America has been steadily getting worse. I don’t know if it’s because some blacks feel entitled to act that way now that they have a half black president and black attorney general or if it’s because of the lawless examples that Obama and Holder have set. I seriously doubt if Holder does anything without Obama’s approval and knowledge so when Read more […]
