EPA Warns: Holiday Leftovers Contribute to Global Warming

Where would we be without the EPA’s friendly reminders for us to be responsible stewards of our food and resources? The EPA released a video telling people not to waste food this holiday season, because doing so will contribute to global warming. The food waste ends up in the trash, which ends up in a landfill, which breaks down and decays, releasing methane gas. According to the EPA, methane is a more “potent” greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. And as we all know, these greenhouse gases trap Read more […]

IRS Employees Fueling the Democrat Party Machine!

A Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of OpenSecrets.org data found Internal Revenue Service (IRS) employees have backed Democrats over Republicans by 2-1 in their political donations over the last 25 years. Donors listing the IRS as their employer have donated roughly $453,800 to Democratic candidates and causes and $221,400 to Republican candidates and causes since 1990. About one in four of the dollars for Democrats, or roughly $117,500, went to President Barack Obama. But IRS employees Read more […]

EPA Spills Toxic Waste Wrecking Environment – Yet No One Gets Fired

BP spills oil in the Gulf of Mexico and everyone freaks out, condemning the oil producing giant for being so careless. These same environmentalists never praise BP for the ecological work they do as they pour millions of dollars into care and research to protect the environment. Instead the environmentalist cynically calls BP “greedy” and “evil”.  Interestingly, these same environmentalists watch as the government (through the EPA) destroys an entire ecosystem and they say NOTHING. In fact, while Read more […]

EPA Causes Toxic Spill in Georgia

While the EPA thinks it has successfully swept the Colorado gold mine spill under the rug, emails show that they knew about the risk of a blowout and didn’t take the necessary precautions. They might also have to deal with another toxic spill that they caused in Georgia, involving the old Mary-Leila Cotton Mill in Greensboro: In Greensboro, EPA-funded contractors grading a toxic 19th-century cotton mill site struck a water main, sending the deadly sediment into a nearby creek. Though that accident Read more […]

EPA Admits: “Low Income Minority Communities Would be Hardest Hit” by Clean Power Plan

One of Obama’s campaign promises was that electricity rates would “necessarily skyrocket.” Coal and natural gas power plants would shutter under the growing burden of government regulations, taxes and fines. The fossil fuel industry – while it’s the most cost-efficient and clean energy source we have available at the moment – would be phased out by government officials who have their eye on lucrative financial kickbacks they’ll receive from their investments in the green industry. The Read more […]

EPA Administrator: Global Warming Affects Everything and Everyone We Love

Not only does global warming affect “everything and everyone we love,” it also affects our ability to earn a decent living, according to EPA administrator Gina McCarthy who’s been in the news quite frequently of late ever since her agency oversaw the making of a giant mess out in Colorado. She’s devoted most of her recent coverage to global warming. I’m a little surprised she hasn’t come out and blamed the whole abandoned gold mine toxic sludge thing on global warming. Maybe that’s Read more […]

Gina McCarthy on Toxic Waste Spill: Oops, Sorry About That

Next time you want to get rid of some toxic waste quickly and easily, just dump it in the nearest river. If the EPA finds out about it, tell them you’re really sorry. It reminds me of what Lois Lerner said when she was being questioned about how many groups were targeted for special scrutiny. She said:  “I’m not good at math.” Granted, she’s a lawyer, not an accountant. But come on. There are many taxpayers who aren’t accountants (most taxpayers are not accountants), and if they mess Read more […]

EPA “Accidentally” Spills 3 Million Gallons of Toxic Waste into Animas River

At first, it was reported that they accidentally spilled one million gallons of toxic waste into the Animas River in Colorado. Now, it’s being reported that three times that amount was actually spilled. And the mustard-yellow pollution is flowing into New Mexico and Utah as well. Reuters reported: A team of U.S. regulators probing contamination at a Colorado gold mine accidentally released [three] million gallons of orange-hued waste water containing sediment and metals into a local river system, Read more […]

EPA Administrator: “Normal People” Will Win Global Warming Debate, not “Climate Deniers”

Normal is a four-letter word these days. The moment you say that someone or something is normal or not normal, you’re offending some protected class of people. If you say that same-sex marriage is not normal, you’re a hate-filled, judgmental bigot who’s guilty of a hate crime. If you say that homosexuality is normal, that’s perfectly fine. The only people who can use the term ‘normal’ are those in government and media, as long as they’re liberals talking about liberal causes and Read more […]

EPA Clamps Down on Truck Emissions

The Obama Administration claims that clamping down on carbon emissions from heavy trucks will help reduce our “carbon footprint” and possibly avert a climate apocalypse. But as usual, the data don’t support their claims. Michael Bastasch from the Daily Caller reported: The EPA’s new carbon dioxide regulations for heavy trucks is meant to help the U.S. meet its goal of reducing emissions to fight global warming. There’s just one problem: CO2 regulations on heavy trucks will have little Read more […]

EPA to Monitor Colorado Residents’ Water Usage

Recently, we reported about how the EPA wanted to monitor hotel guests’ shower habits in an attempt to “modify” people’s behavior. Leave it to them to decide how long is “too long” for a person to take a shower. Unless you’re one of those people who takes a shower once a month whether you need to or not, the EPA thinks you should cut down your shower time by at least a minute. Apparently, this is such a big deal that they’ve done studies to find out how long the average shower is. Read more […]

EPA Porn Addicts Given Paid Vacation

If this were like most businesses in the private sector, these employees would have been fired a long time ago. But this problem has become so prevalent in government agencies that if they fired everyone who looked at pornography at work, there would be little or no government left. If these workers have hours a day that they can devote to viewing and downloading pornography during normal business hours, then what good are they? What are taxpayers paying them for? If we’ve made it this far without Read more […]
