Cop Runs Stop Sign, Causes Accident; Arrests Victim for DUI

A New York Police Department SUV carrying 5 cops ran a stop sign and t-boned another driver. Probably in an attempt to cover up the accident that they most assuredly caused, the police started questioning the guy they hit about how much he had had to drink that evening. The man responded that all he had was a non-alcoholic soft drink. He consented to a test, which yielded a result of 0% blood alcohol level and no trace of drugs. Regardless, they still arrested him and charged him with DUI, since, Read more […]

Texas Man Sentenced to Life in Prison After 10th DWI

After being arrested in his 10th DWI incident since 1981, 64-year-old Bobby Gene Martin is finally being taken off the streets. A jury has sentenced him to two life sentences: The jury came back with its guilty verdict after three hours of deliberation. And throughout the proceedings, the jury had no idea that Martin had already been arrested nine other times for drunk driving. They only  knew that this was at least his third. . . . Martin was also convicted of threatening to kill the arresting Read more […]

Judge Arrested for DUI, Has Fellow Judge Dismiss her Charges for Her

A judge arrested for the same law you or I might get arrested for doesn’t have to play by the same rules. A Texas judge got pulled over back in July and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Not to worry though. Everyone knows the ruling class is exempt from the rules they enforce on everyone else. Counter Current News reported: A Texas judge has just dismissed all Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charges for a fellow judge: 13th Court of Appeals Justice Nora Longoria. This special Read more […]

Legalized Marijuana Might Reduce Fatal Car Crashes

There’s been an unexpected twist to the legalized marijuana story. It appears that the initial statistics coming out of Colorado indicate that, contrary to the dire predictions of those against legal pot, fatal crashes are actually down since Colorado legalized marijuana. Another reason to doubt the premise that more pot smoking means more deadly crashes: Total traffic fatalities have fallen as marijuana consumption has risen; there were about 20 percent fewer in 2012 than in 2002. Perhaps fatalities Read more […]

Cop Runs Stop Sign and Causes Accident; Arrests Sober Victim for DUI

This is classic. A Milwaukee, Wisconsin cop was on patrol one night at an airport, ran a stop sign and t-boned another driver Tanya Weyker, breaking her neck in four different places and then had the audacity to arrest her for DUI, even though she was perfectly sober. Weyker had been diagnosed with cancer as a three-year-old and had undergone radiation treatments that left her spine deformed and requiring metal rods to straighten it out. Immediately after the accident, she was treated as a Read more […]

Cop Breaks Woman’s Face for No Reason

A 47-year-old Chicago mother of two admits to having drunk a little too much one night. That’s why she decided to stop driving and pull over to the side to sleep it off. But all a Skokie (a Chicago suburb) cop saw was bait. An arrest. Maybe he was working on surpassing his quota. So, Officer Michael Hart decided to arrest Cassandra Feuerstein for DUI even though she wasn’t even driving. She was doing the responsible thing by not driving. Nevertheless, Feuerstein was compliant. At the police Read more […]

No, It Is NOT Conservative To Lower The Blood Alcohol Limit

Alcoholic beverages are legal in our country. We tried prohibition for a time (back in those wonderful days when everyone acknowledge that giving the Federal Government such power actually required an amendment to the Constitution) but eventually gave it up (though only for alcohol; afterward we started drug prohibition without bothering to amend the Constitution to give it that sweeping new authority). I’ve been around both liberals and conservatives, both teetotalers and responsible drinkers, Read more […]
