Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl Charged with Desertion!

On Wednesday the military officially announced that they would be charging Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl with desertion for his actions while serving in Afghanistan. The Army said today Bergdahl has been charged with two counts under the Uniform Code of Military Justice: one count of “desertion with intent to shirk important or hazardous duty” and one count of “misbehavior before the enemy by endangering the safety of a command, unit or place.” The second count is the more severe of the two, Read more […]

Pentagon Doesn’t Negotiate with Terrorists or Pay Ransoms … Except for When it Does

In a recent revelation, the Pentagon apparently tried to pay a ransom for Bowe Bergdahl, and the money went to an Afghan con man instead: The ransom payment was first disclosed by Rep. Duncan Hunter in a Nov. 5 letter to Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. Mr. Hunter stated in the letter that Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) made the payment covertly as part of a release deal. But the money was stolen by the Afghan intermediary claiming to represent the Haqqani terrorist network. “Given Read more […]

The Obama Blame Game: Bowe Bergdahl Edition

“I praise loudly. I blame softly.” – Catherine The Great Tale as old as time: the blame game. Politics, if boiled down, amounts to a match in which the person who emerges with the least blame, gets the gold. That’s not to assume that there are those who come out of the political world blameless. After all, you can’t jump into a pool of blood in a white suit, and expect to come out clean. True leadership, however, doesn’t simply rest on blame, but delights in new ideas. A true sign of Read more […]

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Calls Out the Obama Administration

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell grew observably irritated with State Department Spokeswoman Marie Harf on her show Monday when Harf kept spinning the Obama administration’s decision to break the law and not inform Congress of what was happening with the Bergdahl situation. “What we’re talking about with Bergdahl is somewhat the same with bin Laden,” she insisted. Adding that Congress was made aware of what the “architecture” of a prisoner swap would look like, Harf maintained that Read more […]

Bowe Bergdahl and Family Need to Be Left Out of This

I’m really angry with the extremely uncivil way puppet pundits, talk-pieces, internet jocks, web bullies, and other idiots have been treating Bowe Bergdahl and his family. It wasn’t but a few days after his release before the entire conservative world was dumping on Bergdahl and his father for what seemed to me to be tenuously supported (at best) reasons. We did this same thing to Vietnam veterans. And for the same reasons. And they’re as rotten now as they were then. Listen, I understand Read more […]

Bipartisan Agreement – White House is Lying… Again

President Obama has finally done it! He’s united both the left and right of our nation in agreement. Both sides agree that the White House is lying about the danger that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl may have been in! The chief argument from the White House about the need to trade Bergdahl for five of the most dangerous terrorists in Gitmo has been that Bergdahl was in immediate danger. However, according to Senators Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), there doesn’t seem to be any evidence Read more […]

To Protect Himself, Obama Traded Five Terrorists For One Traitor

“A man’s character is his fate.” – Heraclitus I’m not sure how many times I can write about Obama’s character. It seems as though I’ve written about it more times than I can count, but that is only because it is so important. Character is everything we are, from our thoughts to our actions, from the deepest corners of our minds to the most outer reaches of our bodies. If our character is corrupt, there can be no other side to the story. Character is both sides of the coin. Barack Obama—from Read more […]

Time Magazine: Obama Didn’t Negotiate with Terrorists, but Other Presidents Did

Time had an article defending the Obama administration’s decision to swap five Gitmo detainees for alleged deserter Bergdahl. So far, the conservative narrative has been to blast Obama for negotiating with terrorists, something that Time claims didn’t happen. And not only that, but Time also claimed that other presidents, namely Carter, Reagan, and Clinton, actually did negotiate with terrorists. Warner Todd Huston with Breitbart pointed out some distinctions between what Obama did and what Read more […]

White House was “Playing Politics” with Bergdahl Trade

The Obama administration thought they could win some BIG political points by getting Sgt. Bowe Bergdal released. However, in the days since the release of Bergdahl from the clutches of the Taliban, one thing has become clear… they have not gotten the boost they thought they would. “What’s been interesting, Andrea, what’s caught the White House off guard here, they were expecting Gitmo criticisms of the detainees that were chosen. They did not expect this criticism of the attempt to go Read more […]
