Romney-Hating Pacifists Need Pacifiers

The way liberals always work themselves up into a whirlwind of tears and manufactured outrage never ceases to impress me. You would be hard-pressed to find a group as sensitive and sniveling as liberals. You could be attending a Star Trek convention in a coliseum of 10,000 conservative Trekkies, and the moment a liberal walks in through the doors, he is immediately the most emotionally impotent one in the room.

The far-left website has the headline, “Tagg Romney Caught On Tape Saying He Wanted To Take A Swing At The President.” All that is missing are double exclamation points at the end.

First of all, Tagg was not “caught on tape.” He was on a radio program. I’m fairly certain the man knows that radio interviews are not broadcasted in private and that they involve audio-recording and -broadcasting devices–namely, radios. So inasmuch as Tagg himself called into the broadcast to broadcast his voice, let’s take it for granted that he knew he was being broadcasted. There was no “gotcha” recording; it’s a radio. It’s adorable to see liberals act as though they’ve actually engaged in true, investigative journalism simply by stumbling across some audio that was sent through the public airwaves to the citizens of a hundred cities.

The radio host, Bill LuMaye, had asked of Tagg, “What it is like for you to hear the President of the United States call your dad a liar? How do you react to that?”

And Tagg responded:

“Uh, you know, uh, well, jump out of your seat, and you want to rush down there to the debate stage and take a swing at him. But you know you can’t do that, because um, well, first because there’s a lot of Secret Service between you and him….”

The threat level of the phrase “take a swing at” is only one notch higher than “box his ears,” and two notches higher than “give him a talking to.” This is a guy who sleeps in his khakis. (Oh, but those Mormon’s are just so rowdy!)

So abundant was the shock and horror from liberals that “Tagg” was trending on Twitter in the late hours of Wednesday night. Clicking on it revealed some true gems of sanctimony:

Rosie Perez (@rosieperezbklyn), whose Twitter bio describes her as an “Activist, Actor, Fight fan, Animal lover, love laughing, Hoping for world peace,” tweeted, “#Tagg wanted to take swing at the President?! Regardless of your politics this should be considered disturbing & wrong.” Oh yes, how will she ever sleep? For someone who “love[s] laughing,” she sure is uptight.

Elon James White (@elonjames) tweeted, “Tagg Romney wants to swing on POTUS cause he called his dad on his bull[****]. White ppl are so violent–Maybe he needs a 3 parent household.” Yeah, Tagg’s comments were reminiscent of all those death threats his dad has been receiving on Twitter as of late. Racist.

And someone with the name @Ikelaru said, without a trace of irony, “I thought tagg was like a twitter term now I realize it’s Romneys Racist rascal reared on the Mormo doc.~Hate is truly learned.” And Ikelaru truly is not.

There aren’t enough couches in the world to catch these fainting damsels.
