We are following the script that was Hillary’s plan from the beginning.
“There isn’t a shred of evidence because she shredded the evidence. This whole release is a farce.” – Charles Krauthammer
If nothing else, the Clinton machine knows how to manipulate the highest number of people with the least amount of energy; they’re as clean and efficient as a hit-man. They get caught doing something illegal or unethical, and in the blink of an eye, they’re the victim.
Appearing on “Special Report,” Charles Krauthammer hit the nail on the head when he said:
“So we’re gonna have this long saga of the release. She will take the credit…and when people attack her later in the campaign, she’s gonna say ‘Oh, well it’s all been released. The press has looked at it, spent weeks and months examining it. So I’m clean; it’s old news.’”
That’s the script and we are all falling into it…It was all planned way in advance, even before she stepped into office.
Hillary got caught behaving unethically–and many have said illegally–when she was found to have housed her emails on a private server located in her own home. She then tweeted that she wanted all of her emails released:
I want the public to see my email. I asked State to release them. They said they will review them for release as soon as possible.
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) March 5, 2015
But here’s the thing: Hillary and her team choose which emails were released to the State Department, and which were withheld. Thousands of emails were deleted, and she has refused to turn over her server for an independent forensic examination. That’s not the behavior of someone who has nothing to hide—but it doesn’t matter.
Hillary Clinton has built a public narrative that a majority of the public will follow like a cat following a laser dot. It’s a simple pattern:
- A) Hillary gets caught.
- B) Hillary tells partial truth.
- C) Evidence bears out partial truth.
- D) Hillary calls further attacks “old news.”
- E) Americans believe her.
But the partial truth is just that: it’s not whole. I believe that contained within the officially released emails will be some minor scandal–one that will look bad initially, but that will come out clean. That lends credibility to the lie. She can then say “If I were obfuscating the truth, why would I have released damaging emails? Obviously, as I said before, I am an honest person who made a simple error in judgement.” And the page turns in the public’s eye.
It’s designed with just the right amount of believability, if you’re a moron–which let’s be honest, a large portion of our electorate is.
It’s a time-tested method of lying: include in your lie something that damages yourself to conceal the truly unfavorable material, which, if revealed, would bring you to your knees. Remove a finger to save the hand. That way, the focus will be on your conjured “scandal,” and not on what’s really lurking beneath.
The worst part is, people will fall for it. They will thank her for being transparent, and trustworthy. Wow, she released emails that damaged her potential as a candidate. What an incredible woman! She’s got my vote!
They will fail to remember that Hillary Clinton herself controlled what was released in the first place, deleting thousands of emails she deemed “irrelevant.” These are emails we will never see because Hillary has refused to turn over her private server (that she conveniently had wiped last fall) to a third party for investigation. But it’s no big—she turned over her own emails!
When conservatives bring up her server, they will be beset with attacks by the media. The American people—the ones previously mentioned as moronic—will defend Hillary. The conservatives will be the mean, sexist pigs, trying to dig up dirt on someone who released her own emails. My goodness, she released her own emails!
What a principled woman of the people. Poor woman, being attacked by the cruel men of the Republican Party. They’re only doing this because she’s a woman, you know.
And that will be that. Try as they might, conservatives will be positioned as the bad guys, and Hillary will be the strong woman defending her record against unfounded smears. A bold heroine standing against a horde of misogynists!
As Joseph Goebbels said:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
The state (Hillary and the Democrat machine) will use whatever powers (the media that slobbers at her/their feet, as well as the American people who are stupid enough to fall for the obvious misdirect) to repress dissent. In this case, dissent will come in the form of attacks by opposing candidates, and news outlets that actually care about the truth.
She is the state, and she must be shielded from the light, for if the light touches her, she will burn, like the blood-sucking political vampire she is.
