These “environmentally conscious” global warming believers’ hypocrisy knows no bounds. If they’re not jetting around the planet like Al Gore creating a carbon footprint the size of China, all the while spreading the message of global warming, they’re leaving all their filth at some march in New York, all the while demanding action on “climate change.”
These people care so much about the planet, about shutting down “dirty” coal plants, about regulating the energy industry, rationing resources, increasing people’s electricity bills, reducing our collective carbon footprint, “weaning” people off dirty gasoline, that they leave trash everywhere while marching for a “cleaner” Earth. I’m sure if they were confronted about it, they’d blame it on all the “science-deniers” and then mumble something about the Koch brothers and the Tea Party.
There was actually a study done that found that the “science-deniers” were actually better energy stewards than global warming believers:
The findings were based on the Household Electricity Survey, which closely monitored the electricity use and views of 250 families over a year. Thereport, by experts from Loughborough University and Cambridge Architectural Research, was commissioned and published by DECC.
Those surveyed were asked if they agreed or disagreed with the statement: “The effects of climate change are too far in the future to really worry me.”
The researchers wrote: “Taken all together, householders who strongly agreed they were not worried about climate change because it was too far in the future in fact used less electricity rather than more, counter to the hypothesis that households concerned about climate change use less electricity.
So, I guess these litterers in New York City aren’t surprising at all. They like to talk big, but when it comes to actually acting like they believe in keeping a clean environment, to them, that’s asking way too much.
