Britt McHenry is a blonde bimbo who reads off a teleprompter for ESPN. Yeah, I know. I haven’t heard of her either.
But apparently she’s super important and better than everyone else, because she’s fit and blonde and makes more money than other people. Oh, and she’s “college-educated,” which is why she can read a sports script in front of a camera.
Surveillance footage surfaced of this super important and amazing person belittling a tow truck employee, saying things like, “Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me, huh?… I’m in television, and you’re in a f***ing trailer, honey.” She was angry that she had to pay the attendant to retrieve her vehicle I guess. We’ve all been there, but this is over the top [strong language]:
Guess what happened to this script-reader? She got suspended for a week from ESPN following her canned apology that she probably didn’t even write:
“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”
I’m sure she’ll be thinking long and hard about what she did while she’s on her week-long vacation. That’ll really teach her to control her rich, college-educated and superior emotions next time.
You know the only reason she didn’t get fired? Probably because the parking lot attendant was white. Can you imagine what would have happened had the attendant been black? That would have been a hate crime. Remember what happened to Paula Deen all because of a word she said 20 years ago?
But if you go off on a rant about a fat, dirt-poor, trailer trash dropout with missing teeth (all white stereotypes), it’s perfectly fine. I mean, I think we can all agree that this reporter was way better than this parking lot attendant.
