The Buffalo snowstorm is not permitted as evidence of global cooling, but it proves global warming.
We’re not allowed to use any kind of local weather event as evidence against the idea of manmade global warming. However, the rules created by the political and media elite dictate that local weather events can and should be used to prove without a shadow of doubt the idea that humans are creating global warming by driving cars and burning coal. Good weather and bad weather are both evidence for manmade global warming.
So, it’s no surprise that the media are blaming Upstate New York’s big snowfall on none other than global warming.
You’ve got to laugh at their hypocrisy. That’s what they do. They laugh whenever people point to cold weather trends in the U.S. or abroad that show that the planet isn’t warming like the government-paid global warming “scientists” had predicted. They think it’s stupid to point to relatively local cold weather events as counterevidence.
But they can do it all they want. Nye even admits that you can’t tie any weather event to global climate change. But he does it anyway, because he’s the exception to his own rules.
