White House Courts Disney to Sell Global Warming to Kids Using Cast of Frozen

For now, Disney is politely declining whatever the White House is offering in exchange for doing some kind of Frozen spin-off that aims to teach little kids about how polar bears are dying off because of conservative-induced global warming. Disney indicated that they’d rather stick to producing optimistic fantasy films instead of a gloom-and-doom one. Breitbart reported:

Administration official Robert Papp, who has been the State Department’s special representative for the Arctic since July 2014, recently met with a Disney executive to discuss the idea of using the film’s characters to teach children about the impact of global warming on polar bears.

Papp spoke of the meeting at the Arctic Frontiers Conference in Tromsø, Norway this week:

“In explaining why we wanted Disney’s assistance on this, I said, ‘You’ve taught an entire generation about the Arctic. Unfortunately the Arctic that you’ve taught them about is a fantasy kingdom in Norway, where everything is nice.’

And I said what we really need to do is educate the American youth about the plight of the polar bear, about the thawing tundra, about Alaskan villages that run the risk of falling into the sea because of the lack of sea ice protecting their shores.”

I haven’t seen Frozen, but apparently it tells the story of a queen who inadvertently turns everything to ice using her cryokinetic powers. In the end, the kingdom thaws as a result of the ice queen realizing that love is the key to controlling her powers.

It’s ironic that government officials would want a story like this to push global warming propaganda. After all, what brings the “frozen” world back to normal is heat. Their world went through a warming period following the queen’s epiphany, and life went on happily ever after.

In the current global warming gloom-and-doom fantasy that many people on the left actually believe to be true, heat is bad. What we’re all supposed to want is a cooling trend, or at least a halt to the warming. So, the Frozen premise is actually what our goal should be.

I think kids will be a little confused by the White House’s attempt at brainwashing them about global warming. In the movie, cold was bad, and warm was good. But the White House wants to turn things around and tell them that warm is bad, suggesting that cold is good.

In the movie, the snowman character is kept alive by being provided his own personal flurry cloud that preserves him so that he can enjoy summer. If these global warmists actually believe that the polar bears are dying off (which they’re not), maybe they should build them their own frozen wonderland and adopt them. Or, they could like this guy:
