PETA’s Solution to the Bundy Standoff: Everyone Should Become Vegan

The Huffington Post ran an article last year entitled “Shocking Photos:  PETA’s Secret Slaughter of Kittens, Puppies.” The article photo-documented PETA’s hypocritical actions of claiming to be outraged over “inhumane” animal treatment, but at the same time, slaughtering thousands of animals, throwing kittens and puppies in dumpsters, etc.

PETA always amuses me with their 2-cent reactions to things involving alleged animal abuse. They’ll get on to Chris Christie for killing a spider; Obama for killing a fly; the White House for their silly turkey-pardon tradition during Thanksgiving; they’ll request a memorial to dead fish; encourage people not to kill Bigfoot if he’s spotted; and the list goes on. No one can take anything they do or say seriously, especially since they’re nothing more than an animal slaughterhouse themselves.

They’ve reacted to the Bundy standoff in Nevada by getting on to federal officials for killing Bundy’s cattle. But they’re not on Bundy’s side either, of course. They don’t like Bundy, because he would’ve eventually killed the cows too. Their solution to the problem:  everyone just needs to become a vegan. Breitbart reported:

The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is criticizing the Bureau of Land Management for apparently euthanizing an unknown number of cattle at the Bundy Ranch.

“These animals shouldn’t be killed either by the government, or by the rancher who plans to send the cows off to slaughter. The best thing anyone can do to stop the suffering of animals is to go vegan,” PETA’s Senior Vice President Lisa Lange said in a written statement to Breitbart News.

The Bundy Ranch Facebook Page, run by Cliven Bundy’s daughter Bailey Bundy Logue, posted photos on Saturday night of a mass grave of their livestock found in a large hole in the ground on the land where the BLM was impounding Bundy’s cattle.

I’m sure if federal officials decided to turn the cattle over to PETA to be “ethically treated,” PETA would just throw them all in a dumpster. I actually wouldn’t object that much to PETA if they marketed themselves as a slaughterhouse. I have nothing against killing animals, especially beef cattle. But PETA have to lie with their ridiculously stupid advertisements and claims that they care so much about animals’ welfare, while throwing puppies and kittens in a dumpster.
