I think we’ve heard this before. About a million times. We don’t like what Obama does; we don’t like that he lies all the time; we don’t like his brand of socialism; and it all has to do with his being black. Or at least partially black.
I guess in Oprah’s mind, since Obama has some black in him, about half as much as she has, she must agree with everything he’s said and done, or else not be seen as a team player. She feels obligated to support him, because he’s black. Isn’t that kind of racist?
BBC News reported:
Oprah Winfrey has been a prominent supporter of Barack Obama. She thinks that both he and the Office of President have been treated with contempt because of the colour of his skin. “There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”
But if it’s really about race, and if we’re all critical of Obama, because he’s black, then why do so many conservatives like Thomas Sowell or Ben Carson? They’re black. Blacker than Obama, and they’re loved more than many white “conservatives.”
But to liberals, those blacks don’t count. They’re “acting white,” which is why white conservatives like them.
In order to be a true black person, you must think that the government is the solution to all problems. You have to believe that abortion is the answer to our overpopulation problem. And that the way you achieve “social justice” is through taxing (penalizing) the most financially successful citizens and transferring that wealth to the lower class, so they don’t have to worry about working for a living. That’s “fair.” And if you don’t believe those things, then forget it. You’re obviously not a liberal, which means you’re definitely not black.
