If there was any doubt that the huge flood of illegals crossing into the US is not a direct result of Obama’s promise of amnesty and welfare, think again!
Border Patrol agents working the border are hearing the same thing over and over again from the thousands of illegals they managed to detain. Chris Cabrera, Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 spoke about the mantra that all of the illegals are repeating:
“I don’t usually get into the political part of it, but I find it odd that their whole thing is, ‘We are going to get amnesty when we get here. Where is my permiso? Where is my permission to go north so I can get my medical care and my schooling and all that? President Obama is going to take care of us and make sure we’re all OK.’
“Whether it’s the adults or the young kids, one thing we consistently hear is, ‘Obama will take care of us.’”
“The ‘magic words’ are something along the lines of ‘asylum,’ or ‘political asylum’ or to say ‘fighting in my home country.’ They know these words … because we can’t send them home, because it’s too dangerous back there.”
Jerome Corsi from WND had Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) interview Cabrera about the border crisis and Obama’s promise to take of them. Cabrera told Stockman:
“What needs to be done is 100-percent detention and 100-percent removal.”
“You can put all the public service announcements in the world out, but if you don’t follow it up with actions it doesn’t matter. Once the message gets out that if you come you will be returned then it will stop. We know it will stop because we’ve seen it happen in the past. And regardless of what side of the immigration debate you fall on, whether it’s removal, detention, keep them here, let them go, the end result is that these children are being put in danger and a lot of that danger is coming at our hands because we’re putting that message forward by our actions that if you come we’ll release you so their willing to take that dangerous journey. And it’s not necessarily the kid that’s willing to take that dangerous journey, it’s the parent willing to send the child on the dangerous journey.”
What Cabrera told Stockman backs up what Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK) told Chuck Todd on MSNBC:
“I think we’re overlooking the obvious here. I went down and talked to these kids. … These kids were here in this country at the invitation of the president. I think everyone knows it, nobody says it.”
“[Through] his DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, [Obama] is making it sound as if, ‘Come here, we’ll take care of you,’ and they all believe this. I talked to them individually, and I speak enough Spanish that I could do this. All of them were programmed to say that they had relatives here, they’re invited to come up here, they’re going to stay here – at the same time the HHS says, ‘We’re not going to send them back.’ So long as they have that assurance, more are coming in.”
This is why it is so important to get behind Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his Stop Amnesty Bill. Cruz says that Obama’s executive order referred as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was illegal and that it needs to be stopped immediately. Once the promise of amnesty is no longer there, the flood should slow to a tickle and hopefully with strict enforcement of immigration laws, like what Cabrera said, the flow could be stopped for the most part.
If Obama insists on maintaining his promise of amnesty, then I recommend that we let Obama take care of them as he promised to do. Take all of the illegal unaccompanied kids that he’s dumping on communities throughout the country and ship them to the White House. They need to be taken care of by Barack and Michelle Obama and Michelle’s mother who’s been living off our tax dollars for 5 ½ years. Send the illegal kids to the school where Obama’s kids attend and have Obama pay for it all out of his own pocket, not ours. Let him experience what he’s doing to the rest of the country and just maybe he’ll change his mind and decide to uphold the law. After all, he made the promise, not us!
