Obama Does 2 Step Avoidance during Online Chat

President Obama thought he was scoring points by speaking to Americans on an online chat organized by the White House with the help of Google Plus.  His goal was to make himself look like he really cares about the American people, but we already know that isn’t the case as Obama only loves Obama and what he can get from the American people.

On Friday Obama ran into a couple of Americans that took him to task and I doubt seriously if he liked what happened.

One of the people that the President chatted with is a mother that lives in Covington, KY.  Rebecca Stewart was concerned about her son being able to keep his specialist physician.  She told Obama:

“I cannot keep my plan, which I like.  I’ve spent weeks with days on the phone getting confidently delivered wrong answers, conflicting information, and it’s becoming quite obvious to me that a lot of agencies, almost every one I’ve talked to, is having a lot of trouble figuring out the new rules.”

I’m sure that’s not what Obama expected, but he replied, saying:

“What I’ll do first right away is make sure that somebody out of here, this White House, calls you directly.  And I promise you not only will they be confident, but it will be the right answer.”

Then Stewart asked Obama about the disastrous rollout of Obamacare stating that it seemed premature due to all of the problems.  Obama responded:

“You don’t have to pussyfoot around.  The rollout was a problem because the website wasn’t working properly. I will say that in all these big programs … there are going to be some glitches involved.”

Stewart then put Obama on the spot by asking him:

“What are you doing to fix this or simplify what seems to be such a complicated process?”

Obama began to respond to by telling her that the website is working and that his administration will look at the rules to allow a patient to stay with their specialist for as long as their treatment lasts.  He said for listeners to call the Obamacare help lines and that they should get a good answer.  Stewart started to say that she has called but the moderator cut off before she could tell the president that the helplines have been useless and frustrating in her case.

Friday was definitely Obama’s day as another chatter, 57 year old Darnell Summers in Milwaukee asked the president about raising the minimum wage from $7.25 per hour.  Summers asked Obama:

“With $7.25, and we were broken down to part-time to avoid paying health insurance, we can’t survive. It’s not living.”

Once again, Obama side-stepped the underlying issue of Summers’ statement by responding:

“I think the one thing Americans agree on is that if you work full-time in this country, you should not be in poverty when you’re raising your family.”

Obama and White House continually deny all of the reports that employers are cutting the hours of their employees down to part time because of Obamacare.  They claim the reports have been exaggerated, but Summers was just one of millions of Americans who have been a victim of the Obamacare employer mandate.  In his case, it was far easier to just dismiss the poor man than to respond to his situation.

In reality, Obama is not man enough to admit what he has done to the American people. It’s easier for him to say it’s all a lie or just not address it.  He’s done this not only with Obamacare, but with the economy, jobs, his background, illegal practices and even charges of treason.  In most cases, Obama launches his attack dogs (Holder, DOJ and others) to go after anyone questioning him and insisting that he take responsibility for his actions.
