There is a new book out that was written by Arild Opheim and Elin Ruhlin Gjuvsland, a couple who both work for Norway’s left-wing, taxpayer-funded (naturally) NRK, the government’s TV and radio broadcasting system.
The book is about an ordeal the couple went through two years ago. One night their home was broken into by two Muslims, who tied up the couple and hit the wife over the head with a blunt object.
The Muslims explained to the two Norwegians that they were doing this because their request for asylum in Norway was denied and they were going to be deported. They were robbing the couple in order to have some money to bring back to their families, and also because they, being Norwegians, deserved it.
The Norwegians describe in the book the thoughts and feelings that went through their minds in the aftermath of their violation of safety.
Their biggest concern after being beaten and robbed by Muslim foreigners was that they would end up turning into racists. They were also concerned that their neighbors might suspect that they had turned into racists. This is what motivated them to write the book. The book was a way for them to exonerate themselves of anybody’s misconceptions that they had turned into racists.
The left has turned racism into a mortal sin. They’ve brainwashed people into believing that racism itself—mere opinions!—are harmful, rather than the actions that can stem from those opinions.
And here’s the extent to which they’ve been brainwashed: the two Norwegians say they deserved the whole ordeal. “Yes, we are getting what we deserve,” they wrote. “We’re getting what we deserve because of Norway’s, and Europe’s, immigration policies. Because they’re too strict.”
This strictness claim is the opposite of the truth. But it helps the two rationalize what happened to them. Liberals love being victims; it’s romantic and puts them among the privileged class, the members of society that the government seeks to protect the most vigilantly.
Immigrants from Muslim countries who want to live in white countries are only “dreamers,” the two write. (Where have we heard that before?)
Why do people move? Why do emigration and immigration take place? It’s about dreams. They have a dream that life can be better in one way or another if they move–whether it’s from one neighborhood to another or from one continent to another.
Whether one moves from Norway to Spain because one is tired of the cold or whether one comes from North Africa to Europe in the hope of working a few years and saving money for a house in one’s homeland, it amounts to the same thing. It’s dreams that motivate us. It’s totally normal. We all have dreams of another and better life. Can there be anything criminal about that?
Of course there’s nothing criminal about wanting something, but immigration laws don’t outlaw desires; they simply regulate the manner in which they can be attained. If you break the rules (or are the type of person who is prone to breaking rules), sorry, pal, you screwed yourself. And obviously these two Muslim asylum-seekers were the types of people who break rules, as evidenced by the fact that they broke the rules of not robbing, tying up, or beating people.
What I say is criminal is Mr. and Mrs. Norway’s (I don’t want to type their odd names again) advocacy for the colonization of their country by savages and endorsing the violence committed by those savages against Norwegians.
Those two Norwegians should be deported right alongside the two Muslims who violated them. Let them live among Muslims in Muslim countries and see just what types of people these “dreamers” really are.
