The latest competitor for the chance to lose to Hillary Clinton in the Democrat Party has announced his intentions to run. Former Governor of Maryland and failed Mayor of Baltimore Martin O’Malley has entered the race for the White House! In a rousing speech in Baltimore’s Federal Hill Park, O’Malley took a big swing at both the establishment frontrunners, Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush.
“Recently, the CEO of Goldman Sachs let his employees know that he’d be just fine with either Bush or Clinton. Well, I’ve got news for the bullies of Wall Street—the presidency is not a crown to be passed back and forth by you between two royal families.”
Which is basically what every candidate not named Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton have been saying for months now.
O’Malley’s Presidential rally was repeatedly interrupted by protesters shouting “What about Freddie Gray,” “Black Lives Matter” and other such comments… which is surely not a good omen for the former leader of Baltimore.
