The Democrats seem to be in more of a panic mode than ever going into the 2014 midterm elections. There are a number of reports of intentional voter fraud or illegal voting practices by Democrats that indicate what extreme measures they are taking to ensure they win their elections.
First there are the reports that voting machines used for early voting in Illinois were automatically switching Republican votes to Democratic. Jim Moynihan, an Illinois State Representative and a Republican recounted his early voting experience:
“I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent. You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”
According to the Cook County Clerk’s office, the voting machine was taken out of service and said that the machine was improperly calibrated. Computer experts say it has nothing to do with calibration and everything to do with programming and that the voting machine had to have been programmed to switch the votes.
The same thing was reported in Maryland where voting machines being used for early voting were found to be switching votes for Republicans to Democrats. I still believe that this occurred in the 2012 election in places like Cleveland where over 140 precincts combined recorded only 10 votes for Mitt Romney. Most statisticians say that the odds of that happening are nearly impossible.
There were also similar reports of voting machines switching votes from Republican to Democrat in the 2012 elections. Ask yourself when is the last time you heard reports of voting machines malfunctioning in any way that caused them to switch Democratic votes to Republican? I’ve not heard of any, have you?
Also taking place in Chicago is the case of Chicago Alderman Leslie Hairston who has been caught trying to buy votes by raffling off prizes. She posted her unlawful bribery on her Facebook page which read:
“Vote–you’re eligible no matter the candidate, then put their name and contact information on the back of their voter receipt…. And stop by the Fifth Ward office and drop it off.”
Among the prizes being offered were gift cards to various stores and $100 Visa gift cards. When the local Fox news station brought her post to the attention of election attorney Burt Odelson, he stated:
“[This is] not okay. Not legal. It violates Article 29-1 of the election code.”
“That section is very specific that you cannot offer anything, money or anything of value, to entice someone to vote one way or another, or just to vote.”
As soon as the local media began airing the story, Hairston quickly removed the post from her Facebook page. When questioned by the Fox reported, she denied that she was offering gift cards for voter receipts stating that the post was no longer on her FB page. For violating Article 29-1, which bans vote buying, Hairston could be facing charges of a class four felony.
In Delaware, the husband of Democratic State Senator Bethany Hall-Long was caught stealing dozens of Republican campaign signs. His actions were caught on video. He has been charged with a Class A misdemeanor and could receive up to one year in prison and a fine up to $2,300.
When you go to vote next Tuesday, watch carefully to make sure that your votes are being recorded accurately. If you see anything out of the ordinary or that seems fishy, it probably is and needs to be reported immediately. With so many polls indicating a Republican victory, the Democrats are in panic mode and pulling out all of their tricks in an effort to steal the election back.
I find it interesting that some of these more notable cases of voter fraud or illegal voting practices are taking place in Chicago, the political home of Barack Obama and Delaware, the home of Joe Biden. Need I say anymore?
