I think this is absolutely hysterical, and it shows how two-faced the media are.
What is it that we’ve been hearing for years from the gay rights movement? That the way they’re treated is exactly how blacks were treated by whites in the 50’s and 60’s. That the discrimination they have to endure today from heterosexual conservative right-wingers is identical to the racial discrimination endured by blacks from white Southerners decades ago that led to the Jim Crow laws.
You don’t want to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding? Well, that’s like turning down a customer because he’s black. You don’t think that people of the same sex should be allowed to get married? Well, that’s like being against interracial marriage.
Homosexual behavior has now been redefined as a person’s “identity.” It’s how he was born. He can’t do anything about it. “You can’t pray the gay away,” as they say.
So, what does all that have to do with the president of a local NAACP chapter pretending to be black when she’s actually white? If it’s true that sexual behavior is exactly like the color of one’s skin, and if we’re not to judge someone else by his behavior and lifestyle, then how much more should we eschew judgment from someone who believes herself to be black when she was born white? I thought they were the same thing. A man who wants to marry his male lover should be praised by the media and totally endorsed and catered to by society, including every small business, especially those run by Christians. A man who wants to be a woman should be put on the media pedestal for heroism and bravery and should be congratulated for finding “her” true identity. A white woman who wants to be black? Oh, she’s just pretending and should be targeted for ethics violations. MSNBC reported on the controversy:
Controversy is swirling around one of the Spokane region’s most prominent civil rights activists, with family members saying the local leader of the NAACP has falsely portrayed herself as black for years.
Rachel Dolezal is president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, chair of the city’s Office of Police Ombudsman Commission, and an adjunct professor at Eastern Washington University.
The Spokesman-Review reported Thursday that questions have arisen about her background and her numerous complaints to police of harassment. The story was first reported by the Coeur d’Alene Press.
Dolezal’s mother, Ruthanne, says the family’s ancestry is Czech, Swedish and German, with a touch of Native American heritage.
Dolezal has identified herself in application materials as white, black and Native American.
Police say they have found little evidence of racial harassment.
Watch how CNN reacted to this horrific controversy:
Wow. Can you imagine the media going after Bruce Jenner like this? “Are you actually a woman, or are you just pretending to be?” Maybe Bruce would stammer and answer the same way as Rachel. “I don’t understand the question.”
Why is it that we’re supposed to politely play along with the Bruce Jenners out there, even though everyone knows that they’re the ones pretending. Bruce is male. That’s the way he always was and will always be. And everyone knows this. But we’re supposed to play along with his delusions and childhood fantasies, not unlike how we might interact with a mental patient who believes himself to be George Washington.
The media and liberals should be defending Rachel Dolezal and pointing out that she’s living out her true identity as a black woman. She should be given a medal for her heroism and bravery. Where’s her pedestal?
