Big Blizzard Knocks Out Power to the Northeast!

A massive blizzard has knocked over power lines, leaving tens of thousands of Americans across the eastern seaboard without electricity. As of 10:40 a.m. Saturday, Winter Storm Jonas had left about 100,000 people in New Jersey in the dark. New Jersey has been buried by about a foot of snow since Friday evening, and more is expected. Lots of traffic and heavy flooding was also reported across the state as well. New Jersey isn’t alone. Thousands more Americans in other eastern states have Read more […]

Europe’s Growing Electric Car Market Making Them More Dependent on “Dirty” Fossil Fuels

American liberals think that Europeans are so much better than we are, because they have smaller “carbon footprints.” They’re better, because they’re not as dependent on dirty fossil fuels as we are. They drive clean electric cars, and we drive gas-guzzling, carbon-emitting SUVs. Would it surprise you to find out that Europeans are actually making themselves more dependent on fossil fuels because of their growing use of electric cars? But, I thought that electric cars are “cleaner.” Read more […]

If Obama is Right about Terrorism… then we Need Fossil Fuels!

President Barack Obama and his allies claim global warming will exacerbate terrorism by making poor countries more susceptible to radicalism, but the logical conclusion of this argument is that coal, oil, and natural gas are essential to global economic stability … and thus fighting terror. “If you buy President Obama’s bogus claim that poverty and lack of hope of economic betterment foster terrorism, then the President should join us in supporting access to affordable energy, which is overwhelmingly Read more […]

Bill Gates Apparently Doesn’t Understand How the Private Sector Works

Given the amount of money Bill Gates has made, one would think he already understood how the private sector works. But his recent comments concerning green energy research and the public and private sector makes me think he has no idea what he’s talking about: Yes, the government will be somewhat inept… But the private sector is in general inept. How many companies do venture capitalists invest in that go poorly? By far most of them. Yes. Precisely. It is absolutely necessary for companies Read more […]

Californians Set to See BIG Energy Cost Increase as they Use Less Energy!

Southern California residents who sacrificed by using less water are now suffering higher prices because the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has a $111 million shortfall in its latest revenue projections. “We have no other way of recovering the revenue to maintain the system for our customers,” Neil Guglielmo, director of budget, rates and financial planning for the DWP, said Wednesday. The Board of Water and Power Commissioners approved a pass-through charge that will be applied Read more […]

Obama Promotes Solar Power in Alaskan City with Little Winter Sun

If someone’s a really good salesman, we often describe that person as being able to sell ice to Eskimos. Obama recently tried selling the idea of solar power to a group of people in Northern Alaska who don’t see a whole lot of sunlight. In fact, for some 34 days out of the year, they see not quite six hours of sunlight a day. The sun rises around 10 in the morning and sets around 4 in the afternoon. Of course, it just depends on what time of year it is. During December and January, there’s Read more […]

Obama Will be Greeted by Global Warming-Induced Snow in Alaska

Not only is Obama’s trip to Alaska going to emit more than 161 metric tons of carbon dioxide from Air Force One that’s supposedly contributing to global warming, Obama will be greeted by snowfall as he continues to try to sell the idea of carbon-induced global warming to residents and officials there. Dr. Roy Spencer wrote: When President Obama visits Alaska this week to campaign for a new international agreement to fight global warming climate change, Alaska will be experiencing colder than Read more […]

EPA Admits: “Low Income Minority Communities Would be Hardest Hit” by Clean Power Plan

One of Obama’s campaign promises was that electricity rates would “necessarily skyrocket.” Coal and natural gas power plants would shutter under the growing burden of government regulations, taxes and fines. The fossil fuel industry – while it’s the most cost-efficient and clean energy source we have available at the moment – would be phased out by government officials who have their eye on lucrative financial kickbacks they’ll receive from their investments in the green industry. The Read more […]

Obama Administration to Make Energy Prices “Necessarily Skyrocket”

Perhaps this is one campaign promise that Obama won’t renege on. Back in 2008, he promised that energy prices would “necessarily skyrocket” for American consumers. He said, during his campaign: “So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them, because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted. Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless Read more […]

Hillary Clinton’s Solar Power Plan Proves to be a DUD!

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has promised that if she’s elected she’ll make sure half a billion solar panels are installed in the U.S. by then end of her first term as president. That’s enough to power 25 million homes, she claims. The announcement sent shockwaves through the media, and pundits speculated whether Clinton’s solar goal was even possible. The real question, however, is not the feasibility, but is her solar panel goal even that big of a deal? To find Read more […]

California Governor on Manmade Global Warming: “We are Talking about Extinction”

When the evidence isn’t there to support your agenda, the only thing left to do is use scare tactics. Basically, just keep repeating the same thing over and over again, except in a much louder and scarier voice. The planet isn’t heating up nearly as much as the alarmists wanted. In fact, some are saying that we’re headed for another mini ice age, coinciding with solar cycles. But that hasn’t stopped politicians from announcing to the world that we’re all headed for certain destruction Read more […]

Is Wind Power Viable? Denmark Thinks So

On a particularly windy day in Denmark last Thursday, wind turbines were able to collect 140% of Danish electricity needs and export some to other European countries as well. This is causing some people to think wind power and other renewable energy sources might be sufficient to power the whole world: “It shows that a world powered 100% by renewable energy is no fantasy,” said Oliver Joy, a spokesman for trade body the European Wind Energy Association. “Wind energy and renewables can be Read more […]
