Somehow he (“she”) knows that only bigoted people could possibly object to his using their daughters’ restroom.
The guy is obviously a dude, but he’s trying to pass himself off as a girl. Other real girls don’t want him using the girls’ locker room and bathroom for obvious reasons. It would make them very uncomfortable knowing there was a male in their locker room. But this guy says he thinks these girls don’t actually feel uncomfortable. He says it’s “pure and simple bigotry.”
The girls were so adamantly opposed to letting this boy pass himself off as a girl in order to use their facilities that they staged a protest outside the school. The Blaze reported:
About 150 Missouri high school students walked out on Monday over disagreements about which locker room a transgender student should be allowed to use.
Senior Lila Perry, who was born male but has identified as female since [he] was 13, asked school officials at Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Missouri, to use the girls’ locker during gym class, but [his] request was met with fierce backlash from other students uncomfortable with the idea.
“Boys need to have their own locker room. Girls need to have their own locker room and if somebody has mixed feelings where they are, they need to have their own also,” student Jeff Childs told KMOV-TV.
Childs was one of about 100 students who walked out of school for about two hours on Monday in protest of Perry’s request to use the girls’ locker room. About 30 to 40 students staged their own walkout in support of [him].
“There’s a lot of ignorance. They are claiming that they’re uncomfortable. I don’t believe for a second that they are,” Perry said. “I think this is pure and simple bigotry. I wasn’t hurting anyone and I didn’t want to feel segregated out.”
When the school offered him his own “gender-neutral” bathroom, he didn’t want that. Why should he, since he doesn’t identify as “gender-neutral,” or as some who identify themselves as “non-binary.” He’s a girl. He should be able to use the girls’ locker room and bathroom.
I wonder if this is all some prank on Perry’s part to get in to the girls’ locker room. Maybe it’s all to make a point. Or, maybe Perry actually believes that he is a girl who should be afforded access to the girls’ bathroom and locker room.
Public schools work hard to brainwash their students about tolerance and bigotry. I think for the most part, students accept it, at least theoretically. But isn’t it funny that when they’re forced to encounter it head on as in this situation, they know very well what’s going on. They’re not going to pretend that this guy is a girl just because he “identifies” as such.
