Black Democrat Pastor Says Cochran Campaign Paid Him to Get Blacks to Vote Against McDaniel

Reverend Stevie Fielder of First Union Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi is claiming that the Thad Cochran campaign had him distribute $15 to each black voter to vote for Thad. Fielder himself was promised $16,000, which he hasn’t yet received.

I’m sure the money was the biggest motivator for Fielder to help Cochran out, but he was also convinced by the Cochran campaign that McDaniel was a racist. He now knows that he was hoodwinked, but of course it’s too late. If, however, a judge orders a new runoff election amid Cochran’s election fraud, he said he’d support McDaniel.

Breitbart reported:

Rev. Stevie Fielder, an associate pastor at First Union Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian, Mississippi, says Cochran’s campaign “told me to offer blacks $15 each and to vote for Thad.”

Fielder, who was paid by freelance journalist Charles C. Johnson for the story, provided a new outlet launched by Johnson—GotNews.com—with four text messages from a person purporting to be Cochran campaign staffer Saleem Baird.

The messages cite an official Cochran campaign email address—[email protected]—and include detailed discussions of the campaign providing envelopes of money to distribute to people who vote.

“Send me individual names and amounts along with home address to [email protected] and I’ll have money separated in envelopes at the office waiting for you,” one message, sent three days before the runoff, says.

Fielder said he helped distribute the Cochran cash for votes on a promise of eventually getting paid $16,000—and because a key Cochran campaign staffer convinced him that Cochran’s conservative challenger state Sen. Chris McDaniel was racist.

“They sold me on the fact that he was a racist and that the right thing to do was to keep him out of office,” Fielder said.

But Cochran’s campaign never paid, Fielder said.

Fielder also now says he was wrong about McDaniel’s character. He said he “took a good look at the campaign ads” and came to understand that “McDaniel was not a racist.”

“Me and other people were misguided and misled,” Fielder said.

It’s of course illegal to buy votes like this. But really, this is no different from what political celebrities in both major parties do anyway. They may not be so blatant as Cochran and offer cash for votes (well, actually that probably happens all the time), but they make promises of security and protection for those people who vote for them. Democrats are particularly good at buying the votes of women by promising them consequence-free sex; illegal aliens by promising them the “American dream” of materialism; blacks by promising them a slew of “free” welfare programs. These large voting blocs are not interested in freedom. They just want free stuff at the expense of everyone else. And political celebrities in both major parties are more than happy to oblige.

So the bottom line is that this pastor did everything that Cochran asked him to do, because he was promised sixteen thousand dollars in return. Since he did not get it, he’s coming forth with the dirty wash that he helped hang. Cochran should not be allowed to continue on in office, elected or not, since he reached his goal by corruption and fraud, and this pastor is a pitiful excuse for a man of God. Using this racist excuse against McDaniel was not enough reason to do what he did which obviously was only for the money. Racism is now the excuse he’s using to get off the hook.

    • LABobfromNYC

The bottom line is this pastor doesn’t have a shred of evidence to back up his claims.

      • patriotusa2

Well, if not having a shred of evidence to back this up is true, then this pastor must be running on empty since McDaniel is a Republican as well. There is no gain here for this pastor, other than the purported $16,000 that he never received. Plus the journalist who broke this story is pathetically negligent, if there is no evidence at all.

        • LABobfromNYC

People lie for many different reasons. Suppose McDaniel paid him to lie? Where are the voters that allegedly got paid?

        • patriotusa2

Paying people to lie isn’t what McDaniel did since he refuses to concede to Cochran. Had he done this, it would have come out in the wash by now. If there are voters who were paid, some of them should have surfaced by now and the pastor should be knowledgeable of at least some of them by name. Time will tell.

        • Searcher5

Voters for Cochran have already been matched with a voter list for the Democratic elections. IF you vote Dems in the run up elections, you can’t switch and vote Repubs, which is what some did. McDaniel will have to go to Federal court to get the election overturned though.

        • Lew

It’s in the Courts now as of yesterday. 7/1/2014

        • Searcher5

Excellent. Glad to hear it, thanks.

What reasons do you lie for? most of the contributors on this site know you lie continuosly or whine a lot.

Dream on. The difference between most of us and you is that we don’t tolerate illegal actions by those in our own party any more than we tolerate it from the corrupt Democrats currently “running” this country.

        • Charles Almon

And more importantly WHO advance him the money.
One moron here would like to believe the Pastor must have laid out HIS OWN MONEY!
I’m telling ya, when these loon are in attack mode
what little sanity they have evaporates.

        • patriotusa2

You’re the only moron here and you’re too stupid to even see it because you’re too busy calling everyone else names. If you had read the article you would have seen that this pastor is saying that someone from Cochran’s campaign offered him the money to give to his parishioners. Each were given $15 placed in an envelope. The pastor never received his $16,000. It’s amazing how someone as dense as you having an article right in front of his nose, is calling other people morons. BTW: You can’t even write – you who call other people morons, and loons. No one on this site said the pastor laid out his own money, you’re delusional.

        • daverg

There is no gain here for this pastor… yes there is , tarnish cochran when he runs against a democrat

        • patriotusa2

I’m more inclined to think that the $16,000 promised was the real motivator.

As a Conservative angered by Cochran’s antics, let’s see how the old dog tries to cover his a**. Who is he willing to throw under the bus. If it goes up the chain to the “old boys club” of the GOP then I’d say it’s time to vote them all out.

        • REDRUM777

It was probably Johnnie (Cry-Baby) Boner’s idea just to keep pals around since he’s outta luck with Cantor. Wouldn’t put it passed him to set-up the old fart Cochran. I don’t live in Mississippi or the USA for that matter. I live in NC and love it here. Funny thing, go visit downtown Raleigh and every once in a while you’ll see Kay Hagen’s broom double-parked.

        • Daniel Gray

Nice try LaBoob, but we know who you are even with your sock puppet accounts.

      • Daniel Gray

The bottom line is you are a proven liar and a liberal nutcase who spews his lies in every conservative forum he can find. So show us LaBoob (had to move to the west coast as he was even too liberal for the east coast), if he didnt have proof, then exactly HOW did he get the private email from the Campaign? And WHY does the email say exactly what he claims it does when it was removed from his computer and back tracked right to the Cochran campaign HQ??

Sounds to me like you are just posting yet another one of your lies.

      • DetroitDom

You must run the IT Dept for the IRS. Did you read the story?? Did you read about the OFFICIAL E-MAILS that came from the Cochran campaign office?

You’d better get over there and destroy the hard drive and server before the facts get in the way of your idea that this never happened.

No question there is corruption of all kinds on both sides . But the Dems have taken it all to new heights with Obama ? It is all on steroids with this guy . Sorry to say, just the way it is .

      • grammy23

Agree this “tactic” was despicable but one man does not represent the entire party. I don’t dislike all liberals just because I don’t like Obama’s policies. It doesn’t matter what race you are or whether you’re rich or poor. There are low-life’s in every walk of life but the politicians, like lawyers, tend to get away with it more

And I can provide you with dates and actions closer to now, like this

In the ’08 campaign, Republican Sen. Norm Coleman was running for re-election against Democrat Al Franken. It was impossibly close…After the first canvass, Coleman’s lead was down to 206 votes. That was followed by months of wrangling and litigation. In the end, Franken was declared the winner by 312 votes. He was sworn into office in July 2009, eight months after the election. During the controversy a conservative group called Minnesota Majority began to look into claims of voter fraud. Comparing criminal records with voting rolls, the group identified 1,099 felons — all ineligible to vote — who had voted in the Franken-Coleman race. Minnesota Majority took the information to prosecutors across the state, many of whom showed no interest in pursuing it. But Minnesota law requires authorities to investigate such leads. And so far, Fund and von Spakovsky report, 177 people have been convicted — not just accused, but convicted — of voting fraudulently in the Senate race. Another 66 are awaiting trial. “The numbers aren’t greater,” the authors say, “because the standard for convicting someone of voter fraud in Minnesota is that they must have been both ineligible, and ‘knowingly’ voted unlawfully.” The accused can get off by claiming not to have known they did anything wrong. Still, that’s a total of 243 people either convicted of voter fraud or awaiting trial in an election that was decided by 312 votes. With 1,099 examples identified by Minnesota Majority, and with evidence suggesting that felons, when they do vote, strongly favor Democrats, it doesn’t require a leap to suggest there might one day be proof that Al Franken was elected on the strength of voter fraud.

Democratic Congressional candidate Wendy Rosen commits voter fraud: Wendy Rosen was running for Congress in Maryland this year. Unfortunately, her campaign hit a little snag. Oopsy! Wendy Rosen dropped from her race against Republican Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) today after it was discovered she had been voting in two states in recent elections – Maryland and Florida. Rosen said she was saddened to leave the race in Maryland.

A NAACP official is headed to jail for 5 years over voter fraud: Well, those are just politicians. We all know they’re liars! It’s not a big surprise that they might be engaged in voter fraud. But, how can anyone support voter ID or other measures to secure the ballot when even the NAACP opposes it? Well, about that…

While NAACP President Benjamin Jealous lashed out at new state laws requiring photo ID for voting, an NAACP executive sits in prison, sentenced for carrying out a massive voter fraud scheme. In a story ignored by the national media, in April a Tunica County, Miss., jury convicted NAACP official Lessadolla Sowers on 10 counts of fraudulently casting absentee ballots. Sowers is identified on an NAACP website as a member of the Tunica County NAACP Executive Committee. Sowers received a five-year prison term for each of the 10 counts, but Circuit Court Judge Charles Webster permitted Sowers to serve those terms concurrently… …Sowers was found guilty of voting in the names of Carrie Collins, Walter Howard, Sheena Shelton, Alberta Pickett, Draper Cotton and Eddie Davis. She was also convicted of voting in the names of four dead persons: James L. Young, Dora Price, Dorothy Harris, and David Ross. ….The NAACP has had other problems with voter fraud. The NAACP National Voter Fund registered a dead man to vote in Lake County, Ohio, in 2004. That same year, out of 325 voter registration cards filed by the NAACP in Cleveland, 48 were flagged as fraudulent.

Or how about this from WNCN in North Carolina ”
State election officials are looking into thousands of cases where registered voters may have voted in two states or after their reported death. A report presented Wednesday by Elections Director Kim Strach to the Joint Legislative Elections Oversight Committee said 81 voters have a voter history later than the date of their death. The audit further identified 13,416 deceased voters on voter rolls in Oct. 13. The audit showed 155,692 registered North Carolina voters whose first and last names, dates of birth and last four digits of their Social Security number match those of voters registered in other states, but who most recently registered or voted elsewhere. A total of 35,750 voters with matching first and last names and date of birth were registered in North Carolina and another state, and voted in both states in the 2012 general election. Another 765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, date of birth and last four digits of their Social Security number were registered and voted in the 2012 general election in North Carolina and another state…A total of 28 states participated in the crosscheck, leaving data missing from 22 other states.”

I doubt you want me to start in on Boehner and crew? Besides everybody already knows GOP is just status quo shills and need to be thinned out. So it is a short conversation.

    • Sandra Trank

I agree. A Pastor that can be bought is pitiful indeed. They shouldn’t be telling people how to vote either. My Pastors tell us to vote for the candidate who is most in line with the Word of God but never tells us who to vote for. Racism is a hook for many blacks and it is sad any could be manipulated that way. Our freedom to vote has been so corrupted now we really don’t know who really won.

      • afanaglenn

So much for the division between church and state, at least for some ethically challenged people. In this case, both a pastor and a U S Senator. Pretty disgusting.

        • jwright673

I wonder if the good reverend could be looking at voter fraud? I’d say his actions are at least borderline. He needs to be forced, maybe a grand jury, to hand up the names of those he paid on Cochran’s behalf. That would be justice. Ooops, he’s black so Holder would never touch that case.

        • patriotusa2

We can only imagine what else this so-called man of God has done to elect Obama.

        • willhen50

Voter Fraud? He was given money to distribute to bought votes, this is Political Malfeasance; a violation of election laws and ethical misconduct.

    • Texas John

Once that I learned of the acceptance of the bribe by the pastor, I would stop attending his church, and be very outspoken about his crookedness.

    • Ralphew

so far 3300 illegal votes have been found and they are still looking

    • Charles Almon

      He was PROMISED $16,000
So where did he get the money to bribe all these people?
How did he intend to make a profit?
      You’re not even making sense.

      • patriotusa2

You are the one that’s not making any sense, as I said he was “promised” the money, and did not receive it. He obviously got the money to bribe all these people, coming from several news articles, by Cochran’s campaign.

        • Charles Almon

Now he just has to prove that.
          Lets NOT start again,
If he won’t supply the amount he received, when, where and how the money was delivered, and from who – IT’S OVER,
          OVER!

        • patriotusa2

You’re crazy, and so are your posts. Of course he has to prove it, but that doesn’t change the article or the story he’s told.

      • patriotusa2

BTW: when you are promised $16,000 dollars for bribing your parishioners, that’s the profit, the motivator. He’s spilling the beans now because he didn’t get it, period. Some of you people are really quick to mock others, with all your nonsensical comments.

        • Charles Almon

          You really are a simpleton.
In order to make any kind of difference in an election he would have to bribe hundreds of voters,
So he’s going to go out and spend thousand of

        • patriotusa2

You really are a very stupid person to not be able to read this article above and comprehend anything. Obviously you know nothing about what’s going on in this world, and can’t even compose an intelligent post. All you seem to be able to do is call other people names, and criticize their comments because you’re too dumb to understand. What you are saying doesn’t even make any sense. I didn’t write this article you fool, the author of this article did, and if you don’t have enough brains to figure out that the man was promised money and didn’t receive it, that is your problem. You’re nuts, acting as if I made this claim instead of just posted. Why don’t you write one of your simple comments to the journalist who posted this story, and tell him not to explain any of what was told to him in a story unless he can come up with “irrefutable” evidence of a cash advance. The parishioners who were given the $15,00 to vote for Cochran are being checked out. In the meantime, I think you should get checked out yourself or go back on your meds before you write any more of your crazy posts to people.

I totally agree with you both about Cochran and the so-called “Rev.” Stevie Fielder. Fielder is right up there with the CORRUPT Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

      • patriotusa2

No doubt about it. He’s probably participated in a lot of shady deals to elect Obama.

    • http://www.truthanchor.com/ Thessalonianguy

Yup. Didn’t the offer of MONEY seem a bit suspicious to this ‘reverend?’ Something is fishy about the whole deal, and it sounds like the Justice Department should investig…um…uh…never mind.

      • patriotusa2

Right! Holder is Obama’s partner in crime.

    • Leijona

If this little story does not support my contention that not everyone should have the right to vote, I do not know what will. To sell your soul for 15 dollars just goes to show you what these worthless excuses for human beings are. For this so called “Pastor” to be indignant because he did not get his payoff, and not even consider criminal prosecution shows you how low this country has fallen when it comes to the application of justice. We, the working people of this country no longer have a say in who runs this country, and it is about time to take it back. By Force.

  • generationimmigrant2

I do not see any reason for this pastor to lie. The evidence would be in the people he gave the $15. I agree with patriotusa2, more will come out as time will tell. McDaniel said he is going to pursue the fraud that was understood to have taken place.

  • Lloydl333

Cochran Belongs in jail and kicked out of the Republican Party. If tghey don’t kick him out they are gutless. Clean the house. He is why we the people regard the establishment Republican Party and the Democrats as scum bags.

    • Charles Almon

Lets see. A staff member commits suicide.
The one who had someone else trespass into a nursing home,
And you have issues with Cochran.
      Hon. YOU are frankly deranged,
All the pastor has to do is name the source of his “bribe funds”.

      • Lloydl333

The guy that took the picture in the nursing home acted on his own.

McDaniel had nothing to do with the trespassing.

        The trespasser committed suicide.

Money paid for votes….. what a novel idea, huh?

        • Charles Almon

          That was a different guy.

        • Lloydl333

Last I heard McDaniel was cleared of any wrong doing.

Cochran is dirty as can be. He should be kicked out of the Republican Party.

I expect this kind of dirty antics from the Democrats. The have sold out to the Communist. (SIEU etc)

I used to be one. Now I dislike both parties.

  • Nealstar

Corrupt and hypocritical reverends and pastors here, corrupt and hypocritical mullahs over there. “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

    • Whatever

That is what Hillary wants you to think…but it does make a difference. The communists may take us down their path, but if we keep resisting we can and will reclaim this country and set it right again. We can’t let them win. We must win. This country is too great to allow those communists have our country. Think of the future of your family. The Tea Party will make a difference. Vote what is right in your mind.

      • Nealstar

        Whatever,
I think you missed my point which was about the relevance of clergy, regardless of denomination, which I maintain is zero or less. I’m a Constitutional fundamentalist somewhere to the right of Atilla the Hun when it comes to the defense of my liberty. As far as La Clinton, I’ve known her since high school, and there isn’t room here, nor editors broadminded enough to allow me to post my opinion of her. The short form would be that Obama is her “fluffer” or advance man to prepare the country for the final nail in the coffin of our Republic and that nail’s name is Hillary.

        • Whatever

Ok.?!? You are right If that is your point I didn’t see it. Too many people come to hillary’s conclusion…with all the corruption…what difference does it make? My point was that it does make a difference. And to keep working in the right direction…whichever direction that is for you. As long as you are honest.

        • Nealstar

          Whatever,
The only point I was making was that it doesn’t matter if the “reverend” this, the “pastor” that or “mullah” this or “imam” that, they’re the same the world over. As far as the corruption and voting fraud in the GOP or the the finely crafted art of it in the Democratic party, it should be stopped and punished, but it will never happen as the GOP is merely the right wing of the Democratic party anymore and there is hardly any distinction between parties at all. FWIW: Our founders, knew that true democracy was no more than legitimized mob rule and they abhorred parties and felt that anyone needing to campaign for office was generally unfit to serve.

Our system has outlived it’s approximate 200 year shelf life and we’re in sudden death overtime. Human nature has triumphed and our founders who were all wise and educated men, overestimated it and created a system that was just too good for people. It’s really surprising that it’s lasted this long.

        • Whatever

OK. I see your point…but I don’t have to agree with it. I think we the people can stop the corruption and punish the criminals. As long as we don’t fall into the ‘what difference does it make’ attitude and give up.
I also don’t agree with the 200 year shelf life of our Republic. It is unique and can live on if we protect it.

        • Nealstar

          Whatever,

You don’t have to agree at all and I believe that General Patton said something to the effect that if everybody is agreeing, nobody is thinking.

To clarify, I was addressing two points. The “what difference does it make” only applied to clergy. The rest of it, as a combat veteran watching my country turn into a third world cesspool, definitely makes a big difference to me. This is MY country and I am participating in every legal means to restore it.

I’ve been on this planet for 69 years and I have to echo the title of Gordo Liddy’s second book, “When I was a kid, this was a free country”. I’ve watched it succumb to a century of Progressivism and don’t see a Conservative candidate for 2016 who will have the strength, courage and backing to start turning it around.

          What do you suggest?

        • Whatever

Ok…ok…I was addressing the what difference does it make applying to Hillary and the communists party. It does make a difference. If it doesn’t make a difference for who you vote for then you get the one the rest vote for. So vote it does make a difference. Well unless you live in IL, CA or NY then what difference does it make…you get communists anyway.

Thank you for your service to this great country! We can’t allow what is happening right in front of our eyes continue.

        • Nealstar

          Whatever,
Whoops, forgot my former hometown, Chicago. Yep, put Illinois on the list too, but let me give my in-laws, who are still back there, a heads up first.

To paraphrase W. Churchill, we were separated by a common language.

As a registered Republican, I caucused, voted in the primaries, went to school board meetings, county meetings, met candidates up to the Senate and House levels and found that everyone I supported always lost as they were too conservative. I finally got to where Reagan was with the Democratic party with the Republican party–they left me. I just changed my affiliation to “unaffiliated”.

I am planning on 24 more years on this planet and want to spend it in pastoral bliss in my little corner of heaven on earth with my wife, cats, racoons, beavers, deer, elk, songbirds, hummingbirds, water fowl, raptors, foxes, coyotes, the resident bear, the occasional mountain lion and even the insects. As I stated before, I intend to do everything legally possible to turn my country around, but if I don’t get adequate cooperation from my fellow citizens, I’ll follow a laissez-faire policy and just protect my previously mentioned corner of heaven and woe be unto anyone who threatens it.

As Gloria Swanson, a rabid vegetarian, more or less said, “I used to try to convert people, but now they can eat broken glass in front of me and I won’t say a word.”

  • Samurai_Sam

The corrupt right reverend Fielder. What a fine example for the church! He’s just admitted to voter corruption and he’ll get off because he was working for the left, and if I may be so bold as to add he’s black, and anyone that doesn’t like what he’s done is a racist!

  • Erin Jenkinson

This is starting to get like the old Dr. Pepper jingle; I’m a racist, you’re a racist, he’s a racist, she’s a racist, wouldn’t you like to be a racist too? Be a racist, just be a racist……

  • Charles Almon

All this pastor has to do is

I don’t know about you folks, but that so-called “pastor” accepted bribe money for votes: maybe I’m not “with it”, but that pastor should be ‘hung’, as an example. He knew the game was wrong, irregardless of what the different political parties partake in, when they go looking for votes: he was WRONG, WRONG WRONG; now, he should pay the penalty, even though he ‘fessed’-up.

  • armydadtexas

It saddens me a “Pastor” would allow himself to be brought into such pathetic deceipt. Cochran should be thrown out of the US Senate yesterday. What a puke! Corruption=your fired a$$ hole!

Doesn’t say much for a Baptist Pastor to commit a CRIME, now does it ? Even Pastors will do anything for money, are there any Morals , Honesty any more ? Wonder if he learned anything from this ? Like Democrats can NOT be trusted even with a promise to pay him $16,000… The lord has mysterious ways of punishments , or is this called ” HE got his come uppens ” ! Using race is no excuse to commit a crime, Hmmmmm ?

  • rchguns

Let’s see if we got this straight. Cochran basically contracted with this pastor to serve as a middleman to pay for votes. Never mind that that is totally illegal, immoral, and would have gone unnoticed except for one thing.

Typical behavior of blacks in America nothing is illegal as long as you get paid for. Cochran stiffed the pastor out of his $16,000 payoff. At Cochran paid the pastor the $16,000 this pastor would’ve said absolutely nothing.

I don’t know which is worse a pastor who willingly breaks the law for monetary gains thereby betraying his entire congregation who more than likely thought him a righteous man. The other side of the coin is discussing to think that Americans can be bought so easily $15 is not worth the risk of breaking the law.

Many blacks in America at this point in time are playing follow the leader. Dirty diaper had Obama is the worst criminal to ever be allowed in the Oval Office. This administration is the most corrupt in the history of America. If he Had His Way, America would have government system run just like Haiti.

  • Marilynn Reeves

There us no excuse for selling ones self for profit. Pull the ministers license and put Cochran out of office. The should both do jail time.

TYPICAL Democrat Party member – ‘PAY ME, OR I SQUEAL!’ – linked to a TYPICAL Republican Rino using FRAUD and CORRUPTION to seal the deal!

Does he or his church have tax exempt status? IF so, he and the church should LOSE it. http://www.kjv-truth-ministries.org

And of course, those who voted for cockroach illegally will be voting for the dumocRAT in the general election UNLESS he plans on buying those votes again. Cockroach should go to jail.

  • LC

Is anyone going to press charges against Cochran and his campaign? Is any political person or any government agency employee ever going to get charged with wrong doing?

No one should vote for Cochran after this. He should be arrested along with all of the corrupt Dems in DC.

  • mcbee555

Rev. Fielder’s big complaint is he was hustled for $16,000. Well, he received a taste of the phony integrity Cochran was able to build in his 36 years of senatorial nothingness. For all we know, he may never have won an election fair and square at any time. He’s connected to ex-Governor Haley Barbour, who is a rerun of any other corrupt political machine anywhere.

  • bayman61

Fielder himself was promised $16,000, which he hasn’t yet received. He has not received it because it is all a lie. These Democrats will do anything to stay in power.

  • Charles Almon

SOome of you are REALLY confused.
    The guy who committed suicide
WAS NOT the guy who did the trespassing in the nursing home.
    That was a different guy.

  • Wabefuhon

Bribery and lies. He was bribed into paying people to vote and was lied to about being paid. I’d be questioning this pastors authenticity of being a Christian at this point. He didn’t check the facts before making a decision. Now it’s cost him more than just money.

  • banjo kid

It is against the law and Cocerran what ever his name is . should automatically cede the election to McDaniel . To offer free stuff is against the law also but it has been ignored at our peril, 40 acres and a mule , a chicken in every pot a job in every family maybe two or three. huh? Obama s presidency reminds of the story of Pinocchio when they all started turning to donkeys and that they found they had been had.

  • bonniewheeler

If this is true, it is despicable. This has nothing to do with the party – it has to do with one dishonest individual or in this case two dishonest individuals.
Neither does it have anything to do with racism. I am so tired of hearing the word ‘racism’ for every situation whether it has anything to do with race or not. It’s used too much as an excuse for failure.

  • crosspatch

Here’s some additional information. That “pastor” tried to rip off the Cochran campaign. He was paid half his agreed upon pay, delivered nothing, and was refused the other half. He was a GOTV worker. Then he got paid by Johnson for the story. Turns out he needs over $100,000 by next Tuesday to avoid foreclosure.

I’ve never heard of paying people to go door knocking for a campaign. Any campaign that I’ve worked with has always been voluntary. What better recommendations can one get with those who do it voluntarily.

  • Brabado

Sen. Cochran represents the worst that America has to offer!!!
Not only is he a corrupt politician, but personifies 100% of what Zealot Liberal Democrats are all about, when it comes to buying Votes, fraudulently, reason why they want as many Illegals, and Blacks, to Vote – without showing any ID.
Who does America thinks “manufactured” the Tsunami of Illegal Children crossing the Border, into the U.S?
GOD SAVE AMERICA FROM POLITICAL THUGS, AND CORRUPTION,
    Semper Fidelis

  • sovereigntyofone

So what else is new. This type of ” buying votes ” is nothing new. It’s probably been going on since voting started. We know the democommies are good at it.
    That and rigged voting machines.
    Just my 2 cents worth.

    • Fox

“We know the democommies are good at it.”
One of the biggest reasons why they love zombies.

  • jime1

Proof positive that far to many politicians (on both sides of the isle) are low down snakes and gutter rats, who would sell their own mothers to get reelected. Da8n the lot of them !!! We the People need to DEMAND term limits !!!

    • Fox

      jimme, what can I say?
We have HAD term limits since the very beginning. We simply refuse to use them when we go to the poles to cast our votes.

  • KayO

This pastor knew better than to agree to that. I’m glad he busted this out, but I’m assuming it’s only because he didn’t get paid. Shame on him, too.

    • Fox

I, and many others, are thinking the exact same thing. The ONLY reason that this guy exposed what happened is over the sour grapes of him not getting his $16,000.00.
If he had been paid, this would have never come to light.

    • NDwight

He says it is because the Cochran campaign told him McDaniel was a racist, and guaranteed it, when he found out he was lied to, then he came out.

      • KayO

He’s a pastor, and should be held to the standard that is required by God Almighty. A bribe was his first clue. Did he bother to investigate the racism allegation? He has no excuse. I hope he deals with that more than his issue with not getting paid. He’s not a victim.

        • Jean

It sounds like the god he preaches is self.

        • KayO

          Yes.

  • Fox

, ,and just guess who THESE people vote for!

It’s no wonder that the democrats don’t want voter ID laws.

That is “terrible”, wise guys not keeping their word.

  • Sunshine Kid

What should be done is subpoena this pastor and his congregation, file charges against Cochran for vote buying (fraud), and if the pastor is lying, and his congregation do not back up his claims, then Cochran gets a free pass and the pastor gets jail for false accusations. In other words, let’s clear the air!

    • Jean

and strip them of their right to vote. It’s a sacred privilege beyond monetary value.

      • Sunshine Kid

I agree. Those who have no respect for their vote and can be bought off should lose their right to vote because they have shown that they have no opinions of their own; they are sheep in human form.

  • Paul Brown

It will be interesting to see what the courts will decide in this voter fraud. This is just another RINO who we have no need for in this country, he has voted with the demoncraps every time because the money was to good to pass up. The courts should declare this entire vote a fraud and call for a run off and do it over again, but disqualify this RINO from the race all together.

  • pateboo

This so called “Pastor” has bigger worries than he knows. There’s a bigger judgment that he’ll need to worry about. He won’t know where, and he won’t know when, but when God gets a hold of him in his final day on this earth, I wouldn’t want to be him.

  • Al Chemist

I would be willing to bet that this RINO has taken lessons from the democrats. After all, scrape away that RINO crust, and all you have is a modified liberal/progressive/commie piece of crap. This guy and others like him must go if this country is ever to be restored to the Republic it was meant to be.

  • satin85718

Money walks and talks. To either accept a bribe or to accept purchase for a vote is disgusting, period. Shame on all of them, especially the minister!

    • Jean

One should loose his right to vote if they value it no more than that.

  • Patriot41

One of the saddest realities out of this revelation on vote buying, is the fact that people are willing to sell out their fellow countrymen for $15.00 a vote. When citizens have so little value for their freedom to vote in their leaders, the nation has lost it’s soul and it’s freedom.

  • For What Its Worth

This is (and has been) a “normal” practice for Democrats for years (they use the term “walk around money”) as a “Get out the vote” GOTV tool. I remember back in 1994 here in NJ, the cost of such a vote as this Pastor spoke of was $5.00 (and that was for a local campaign). This is the breath and depth of the cynicism and lack of integrity that permeates the body politik. The Democrats (and obviously some Republicans) have been using this practice for years……

  • For What Its Worth

Worst government that money can buy (and cheaply).

  • notalib

Cochran is a prime example of power corrupts at any and all levels. This time a Republican is doing the corrupting. He does not deserve the trust of the American people and he sure doesn’t deserve to serve at any level of government. I’m a Conservative / Republican that is saying “get him out of office.” If laws were broker punish him and anyone else associated.

I’ve come to expect this from liberals / Democrats as it is their standard method of operation. Not Republicans! Wise up you guys. If our party sanctioned this shame on the Republicans.

    • Jean

Democrats have proven that the law means nothing. So, why can’t one advance themselves? Unless, of course, one truly loves justice, peace, his constituents, etc…..

  • notalib

I forgot to add–the MSM is at fault here also because they do not report it accurately, or don’t report at all. The political crooks are sleazeballs but MSM cannot even rise to that level. Pretty darn disgusting as they are suppose to keep their eye on government instead of kissing their behinds.

  • danE DanE

There are a lot of dummies out there! So many pastor’s have their hearts set on evil. The first thing that would have come to my mind is, “NO WAY JOSE,” “the LOVE of money is the root of ALL evil.” “Stupid is as stupid does,” plus it is illegal to buy votes. “yeah man, it’s all wrong, we shouldn’t even be here.” Here’s another one. Mexican preachers WILL NOT tell their parishioners, that they are STEALING from the American people! The three monkey’s come to mine: “speaky no evil, seeie no evil, and hearie no evil.” The corruption in this nation and the world, is massive and it will take the return of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, to get it right again. If you ever in your entire life had the desire to PRAISE GOD and get right with HIM, THEN, NOW IS THE TIME. We are in the LAST DAYS, and obama is the anti-christ. The end time events, such as we are witnessing MUST take place and Jesus tells us not to worry.

  • large

Average Democratic party procedures . . the “Crooked Election” only happens when a Republican wins with out Democratic “Help” . .

  • sfcpete

The pastor was “misguided and misled? How about greedy and dishonest –
as well as those who sold their vote. And they have the audacity to call themselves Christians – they should have been paid thirty pieces of silver each.

  • ihavetopickastupidname

    That’s not good…. for Cochran that is…

  • nimbii

Is there true legal recourse here?
