Maine Public School Kids Get Lesson on Homosexual Foreplay

Mainers went to the polls yesterday to vote on a number of issues, but perhaps none as heated as Question 1 (that is after the heated issue of Romney v Obama).  Question 1 was an initiative to legalize same-sex marriages in the state of Maine.  Sadly, it passed by a 53% to 47% margin, making it the first time a same-sex marriage measure was passed by popular vote of the people.

In 2009, the Maine legislature passed An Act To End Discrimination in Civil Marriage and Affirm Religious Freedom which was signed into law by Governor John Balducci.  Before the act took effect, a referendum to repeal the law was launched.  By a margin of 53% to 47%, the people of Maine voted to repeal the legislature’s same-sex marriage act.

In the summer of 2011, gay rights groups in Maine began collecting signatures to get the issue back on the ballot.  After collecting nearly double the amount of required signatures, they succeeded and Question 1 was placed on the yesterday’s ballot.

To help inform the public on the issues of same-sex marriage and homosexuality, Gorham Middle School Principal Robert Riley invited Proud Rainbow Youth of Southern Maine (PRISM) to give a presentation to the students during their Diversity Day.  Instead of the hearing the expected discussion on tolerance, the students and faculty were presented with graphic explanations of gay and lesbian sexual acts.

Needless to say, the parents in this town of about 15,000 people that lies a mere 11 miles east of Portland, are in an uproar over what their children were exposed to.  One such parent, Kristy Howard told local reporters:

“I don’t want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay in school. I don’t think it’s the place.”

Principal Riley felt everything else went well except that one ‘little’ incident, he sent a letter of apology home with every student.  However the damage has already been done and I don’t believe what happened was just an accident.  Gay activists are actively trying to recruit children to their perverted and sinful lifestyle.

Daniel Villarreal, a gay columnist wrote:

“Recruiting children?” You bet we are.  [Conservatives] accuse us of exploiting children and in response we say, ‘NOOO! We’re not gonna make kids learn about homosexuality, we swear! …But let’s face it–that’s a lie. We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it… Can we please just start admitting that we do actually want to indoctrinate kids?”

Parents be warned because the gay movement is targeting your children and actively trying to recruit them.  In states like California and Massachusetts, children are already being taught pro-homosexual curriculum.  Many public school libraries have books for the students to check-out that portray homosexuality as being more normal than traditional heterosexual relationships.

What happened in Gorham Middle School could happen in your child’s public school.  Are you prepared to fight against it or are you going to allow your children to be exposed to sexually explicit homosexual material?  You’re the parent.  You’re the one responsible for your children’s education and spiritual wellbeing.  Parents – It’s all up to you.

    • Inside Agent

      @AmberShoreman1 Then it must be time to move on.   Perhaps the Gays should get their own 1 State and Maine or Massachusetts may just be it. hmmmm   they already own provincetown

  • Oh Johnny

    The NEA and the MEA should be proud, they support, abortion, gay marriage, removing God from the schools, seculrism, and now teaching homesexual fore play, what a well rounded curriculum.
    How about Civics, American history, Reading, Writing, English, useful math, to name a few, naw, that is asking too much.
    I suppose Maine has to be a leader in something, why not gay rights and sodomy?

    • ackbez

      @Oh Johnny most kids get it from watching their parents in GAY relationship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • Inside Agent

        @Oh Johnny Get Bent

    • NavyJR

      @Oh Johnny They also teach the kids how to be good Muslims; but NOT how to be good AMERICANS!

  • CmmnSnse

    @ElishaNEWS Christians may sing ‘Onward Christian Soldiers’, but they fail to act as if standing up for the right thing is important. Removal of prayer, Bibles, Bible Studies, abortion and what have we done? Haven’t Christians always said we need to put feet to our prayers. After you march around the walls a few times, you make Noise and you do it LOUD. It is way past time to keep still. It is time for real action or we need to shut up and just take it. If Christians don’t get RIGHT, they’ll get left.

  • ninya61

    Let’s see,  We should bring prayer back into the USA school system and allow all to pray?  Muslims, Buddhists, Catholics, Protestants, Hindus, Jews, Evangelical Christians, Indian Spiritualism, Quakers, etc. When would our teachers have time to teach if each religion were allowed time to practice their own particular way of praying in our public schools?  Doesn’t each of these have their own places of worship?  Why does it have to be in the public school system.  Why?  Because the Christians of this country want to monopolize our schools for their own agenda?   And now teaching homosexual foreplay?  Are you kidding me?!?! Who makes this stuff up,  fox news? Limbaugh? I think perhaps it is time to tax churches for meddling in politics.  Build your own religion based schools and receive a tax break for the tuition it will cost for your children.

    • NavyJR

      @ninya61 Generic prayer at the beginning of the school day doesn’t take more than a minute or two, and when prayer was shoved out, so was morality and ethics!   It doesn’t have anything to do with any ONE religion; read the 1st Amendment.  Currently the only ones ALLOWED to pray in schools are the MUSLIMS!

    • Inside Agent

      @ninya61 Sorry but – this country was founded and has flourished under Christianity.   Practice your own religion but do not feel that it is appropriate to try to change the founding values …

  • James Maxwell

    I wonder how the parents who voted for this abomination will feel when their child comes home and has had
    homosexual, transgender or other deviate approach their child an like the TSA agents fondle and expose them?
    Growing up for a child is tramatic enough especially when they reach puberty.  The are confused by the feelings
    they have and are not sure of how to act.   It exposes them to deviants in our society that are more than willing
    to take advantage of them.   While there are responsible members of the homosexual community there are many
    more who will take advantage of children under the age of consent to continue their way of life.   As a non breeding
    group they can only recruit and convert other to thier lifestyle choice.     I do not believe in denying them the
    rights as Citizens or our nation but they also have to comprehend and understand that those of us who choose
    our sexual encounters to be with member of the opposite sex as intended in nature to continue our species.  Since
    the want to practice their sexual encounter with members of thier own sex they are not  a viable breeding pair(s)
    and are outside the realm of normality even in nature.

    • NavyJR

      @James Maxwell They also need to accept that they ARE a small percentage of the population and that the rules should NOT be made for just them!

      • ackbez

        @NavyJR  @James Maxwell or you

      • DaveB

        @NavyJR  @James Maxwell
        Yes, “they” are a small minority. But why should the rules be made to specifically EXCLUDE them? And if they’re such a small minority, whay are you so afraid of them?

        • NavyJR

          @DaveB  They have HAD the same rights as EVERY other citizen to marry the person of their choice of the opposite sex, to leave their property to whomever they choose and to use the restrooms their GENES designate.  The “denial” of “marriage” to members of the same sex is because marriage is in truth a RELIGIOUS concept based around procreation and preservation of the species, which civil governments adopted; and EVERY religion in human history has viewed homosexual behavioral disorders as “deviant” and therefore unacceptable to them.  Since they can’t procreate; civil union should suffice!  However,, what they’re demanding isn’t EQUAL but SPECIAL rights, and that’s not acceptable!  As to FEAR; why should I FEAR a behavioral disorder?  I just find their behavior naturally repugnant.

        • DaveB

          @NavyJR Unfortunately, in most jurisdictions, they do not have all the same rights. For a couple of examples, Civil union often has severe limitations on inheritance rights, and many hospitals do not afford “domestic partners” the right to make medical decisions, or often, to be present as other relatives are. If my wife were hospitalized, the most I would have to do is show my ID compared to hers, not get and carry at all times a Power of Attorney.

        • NavyJR

          @DaveB Then amend the civil union law in that or those states but don’t demand special privileges or to engage in something for which there’s no purpose and which offends many, if not all religions.

      • James Maxwell

        @NavyJR I was looking at your ID on here and was wondering if you are one of
        those who came our of the closet after “don’t ask, don’t tell” was repealed since it
        might identify you as a Lt Junior grade in the Navy?   While there have been homosexuals
        serving in our military for a long time and many have lost their lives in the defense ouf
        our nation.   The was a very good reason for not promoting them or allowing them to
        serve in many specialities.    There is and always will be a stigma attache to their
        lifestyle and from the Christian Bible to the Muslim Qu’ran their are reprecussion that
        are not plesant.  Christians are more tollerant than the Muslim in this treatment though
        and the Qu’ran has many references to it and how they are to be treated.   Simple to
        look it up by pulling up a copy and lookiing it up for your own knowledge.

    “We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it…”
    Note that he did NOT say one damned word about RECRUITING kids!
    This is about tolerance and acceptance of others’ innate differences, personal preferences, and lifestyle choices.
    This country was FOUNDED upon freedoms of religion and choice, your most prized components of the Bill of Rights. How can you not be willing to guarantee those same rights to others whom you might disagree with?
    Evelyn Beatrice Hall, 1906 (otherwise attributes to Voltaire):

        • Evermyrtle

          @DaveB Very glad to hear that!!!!!

    • Brian Hill

      @DaveB   DAVE!  come on, you leave out this part of what he said
      Can we please just start admitting that we do actually want to indoctrinate kids?” the truth will serve you better than trying to squeeze around it!

      • DaveB

        @Brian Hill “Indoctrinate”, not “recruit as members”. *That* is the truth, and I’m not the one misreading it, sorry.
        Was his comment inflammatory? You bet!
        Most times, a call to action is.
        But I still see it as a call for indoctrination into tolerant thinking.

        • Inside Agent

          @DaveB  @Brian Hill Here is a call to action for you.   Stay away from our children

      • barbie3838

        @Brian Hill  @DaveB
         Finally a truthful gay person! I worked in public education (which is rife with homosexuals) for 25 years and was sickened by the, not always subtle, indoctrination of kids into the homosexual lifestyle. Young kids often don’t even realize what their sexual orientation is. They often are drawn to their same sex in loving friendships and should not be encouraged to think that sexual intimacy is a part of that friendship. Leave our children alone, to find out who they are as they mature.

        • Inside Agent

          @Brian Hill  @DaveB Absolutely

    • Deyoscout

      @DaveB what about his question”Can we please just start admitting that we do actually want to indoctrinate kids?” What do you think indoctrination is??? Wake up and smell the crap shoved down your throat in the guise of political correctness.

      • Inside Agent

        @Deyoscout  @DaveB Crap is precisely what it is..     It’s like shut up and go away.

    • James Maxwell

      @DaveB and now do the homosexual continue their lifestyle,  they have to recruit other to
      join them in their lifestyle.   It is not a natural act by any defination of the world but an act of
      perversion.   They have to right to be with other of a like mind and protected under the law of
      the land.  But you do not have to make laws speificall just for them that allow them to expose
      themselves upon other who do not want nor seek out their attention.   Especiall the children who
      do not have the wordly knowledge to make an informed and reasonable decision.

      • DaveB

        @James Maxwell They don’t need to “recruit” others, to continue their lifestyle! Homosexuals and homosexual behavior have been around as long as mankind. There will always be new “recruits”, in natural order.
        The primary increase in young people adopting the lifestyle comes from those who would otherwise be living confused lives, terrified that their “abnormal desires” are an abomination and will condemn them to societal repugnance and, eventually, to Hell.
        I don’t see that as “right”…

        • Inside Agent

          @DaveB  @James Maxwell This is not governments calling

        • NavyJR

          @DaveB  Homosexuality is a LEARNED behavioral disorder!  The genome has been mapped; it’s NOT genetic.  And it doesn’t occur “in nature”; what you’re calling “homosexuality” among animals is the herd/pack dominance/ submission rituals; that are about determining mating and leadership, NOT sexual behaviors at all, as any good biologist will tell you.  What you NEED is THERAPY, not patted on the head and told you’re just living an alternative lifestyle.  But that also takes WORK and a will to recover; which most don’t have, same as with every other behavioral disorder.

    • Inside Agent

      @DaveB Wrong.    These are vulnerable kids and you have serious issues.  I will challenge you every step of the way.

    • Inside Agent

       Hey Dave, go back and re-read the quote. ” ‘Recruiting children?’ You bet we are.”  First sentence of Villareal’s statement.  You must have missed that.

    • idagney

      @DaveB You are deliberately deceiving by omitting the most important part of the quote:
      “…Can we please just start admitting that we do actually want to indoctrinate kids?”
      What do you think that means, exactly?

  • Evermyrtle

    The only sensible thing that parents can do now, is to take their children out of public school and make great efforts to home school them , even to the point of moving out of the state if necessary.  We as Christians should be willing to help parents to do this when possible.

    • Inside Agent

      @Evermyrtle Or stop paying school taxes and start attending school board meetings

      • Evermyrtle

        @Inside Agent  @Evermyrtle If that will take the evil out of the schools I’m all for it, but somehow I don’ think that will do it

  • Cooki

    These are issues that need to be taught at home!  Hell will pay if someone else wants to try and indoctrinate my children on sexual behavior.  Love me or hate me, but homosexual behavior is not the norm – the people are good decent people – but their lifestyle is not.

    • Inside Agent

      @Cooki It is beginning to appear that they may not be so decent.

  • stella

    was the christian coalition invited to speak the same day? or just the usual one sided tolerance? Just  question?

    Like I’ve said folks, we’re living in a deviance-driven country/society now… a modern time Sodom and Gomorra.

    • MartiPappas

      @VaqueroBob And for those of us that read our bibles, we know what happened to Sodom and Gomorra!   Is that what we are headed for??

  • stella

    it does tend to be more one sided doesnt it? everyone can have an opinion but regular catholic americans.. its a shame.. Saddens me – scares me about the future for my kids.

    • DaveB

      I’m Catholic, and I have an opinion. Sorry if it doesn’t agree with yours.
      You’re welcome to your opinion, but I don’t see it as Christian.

        • DaveB

          @Inside Agent You need to pay more attention to where you Reply! You first said “Amen!” to my point, then told me to re-read my Bible.
          Unless you’re stuck in the Old Testament, a whole lot was changed by Jesus. “do unto others …”, and “Judge not …” are pertinent here.

      • idagney

        @DaveB How do you say you don’t agree with Stella’s opinion, when she never stated it? How can you say it isn’t Christian, when she never expressed her opinion at all? If anyone isn’t Christian, it would have to be you. You infer that you don’t like her opinion and immediately begin to insult her. You are an anti-Christian bigot.

        • DaveB

          @idagney
          idagney. I’m sorry you took my comment that way; I hope Stella didn’t also. She stated “everyone can have an opinion but regular catholic americans.. its a shame.”, etc. That looked pretty clear to me that she felt the idea being promoted of “tolerance” was one-sided, towards non-”regular Catholic Americans”. I respectfully disagree, and feel that to be the only Christian attitude.

      • EricHaulenbeek

        @DaveB And many Christians view the Catholic Church as a cult.  Why would you even try to paraphrase God’s Word with such malice?  Not a good thing Dave!

        • DaveB

          @EricHaulenbeek Oh, that’s a classic, Eric! How come “many” Capital-C Christians think they are the only “true” religion? Such attitude is *excatly* what I was calling non-Christian!

  • DavidAllenWatson

    In my life, things have gone from a great country to live in to a fiight for its very existence. Teaching children about perverted acts was a crime, period. Now you have to monitor what they’re taught in school. What happened in Maine is deplorable, and shows just how little they think of children, much less understanding the devastatiion perverse activity causes. Abused children grow up in shame, introverted and extremely mixed up. It is a cancer of the soul. You want to make a killer out of a Preacher, just try to pull that garbage on his kids. He’s only human. How much can a parent take? Personally, I am dedicated to a moral society, like I had, and I will stop at nothing to keep it alive.

    • Inside Agent

      @DavidAllenWatson I am with you.

    • NavyJR

      @DavidAllenWatsonSir,  where can I sign up for THAT army?  I agree whole-heartedly with you.  I did grow up as an abused child, including sexually, so I know what you’re saying is FACT.  And I know what that does to the child first hand.  More than a cancer; it KILLS the soul and leaves the mind and body struggling to figure out how to go forward, especially if it’s a frequent occurrence.  Children are not ready to actually process any of their emotions ’til mid to late teens; and exposing them to such things before they’re READY to deal with it, secure enough in themselves, is ONE of the ways that such behavioral disorders ARE learned.  But then the homosexual lobby KNOWS this, and since they NEED more homosexuals to pay for the legal fees to get their demands met, they really don’t CARE that they’re wrecking the lives of these kids, just as their own have been wrecked; by their own disorder, which has gone untreated!

      • DavidAllenWatson

        @NavyJR
         It is the Army of the Lord, Sir. As the Lord said,”He who causes one of the least of these My brethren to stumble, it would be better for that one to have a millstone tied around his neck and be cast into the sea.” And elsewhere, “There will be weeping and nashing of teeth.” Your story needs to be heard. And Sir, you are not alone.

          @NavyJR  @DavidAllenWatson
           Thank you Navy, well said. I, too am a Deist and not part of any manmade religion. Homosexuality has ALWAYS been a choice rather than a birthright. Unfortunately, they are noisier than we are.

  • ibz1492

    I am a 63 year old gay man, with an adult daughter. As a child I knew something about me was different from the majority of my friends. I didn’t know the concept of homosexuality but would surely have been less conflicted in my formative years had I had this understanding and education. No one made me gay and, as a mid-teenager,  no amount of trying to deny it to myself could change what I was. Life would have been life-changingly less painful for me had I been privileged to know what “straight” kids learn on a daily basis about being heterosexual. Keeping our heads in the sand will only assure that the left will win more and more of our governmental offices.

    • Inside Agent

      @ibz1492 So, I see, because you were in a closet we must change – that is absolutely nuts.  We are not responsable for you nor your life choices so don’t come crying for us to change in order for you to feel good about yourself.

      • RachelGuess

        @Inside Agent  @ibz1492
        I am a happily married woman with a wonderful son, and in my lifetime I have known and am friends with gay couples, both male and female.  I am Christian and I believe in what the Bible says, and I would like to point out that the Bible says ‘Judge not, lest ye be judged’ (Matthew 7:1) and ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone’ (John 8:7).  While I may disagree with the lifestyle of a given person, it does not prevent me from being their friend, as the Bible teaches us to do, nor does the Bible give me a right to interfere in their lifestyle.  The reason that I have several friends that are gay is because we all agree not to judge each other and to make our own lifestyle decisions, as the Bible teaches.  Only God can pass judgment, and that is as it should be.

        Insofar as this article is concerned, I absolutely agree with the parent’s statement above, I don’t think ANY public school should be allowing ‘foreplay’ to be taught to students, whether it is gay or hetero in nature, and it is deplorable that the school’s administration would allow this to happen.

        • Evermyrtle

          @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492

          So many people do not have a clue what the judgment scripture says in Matt.1-5, they read the first verse and then they stop
          Matt7:1-5
          1 Judge not, that you be not judged.
          2.For with what judgment you judge,you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete it shall be measured to you again.
          3. And why behold you the mote that is in thy brothers’ eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye.
          4. Or how will you say to your brother, let me pull out the mote out of your eye, and behold, a beam is in your own eye.
          5.Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brothers eye.

        • DaveB

          @Evermyrtle  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 Myrtle, what’s your point? The other verses only amplify and clarify the first.

          You are wrong, dead wrong, if you judge fairly it is good. If you punish your child, you must make a judgment that your child should be punishment.

          If you hire someone to do job and if he half finishes the job, you make a judgment about what  to pay him. We all make judgments every day but are they fair judgments or unfair judgments.

        • idagney

          @DaveB  @Evermyrtle  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 The other verses show that a man must first judge himself before he can justly  judge  another. It does NOT mean a man must never make a judgement that any behavior is wrong.

          Actually what it means, Often we are so eager to pick other people to pieces about every little thing while commit many sins ourselves but cannot see our own sins which may much bigger sins than the ones we are judging. BUT that is not what the issue was, the issue was “Judge not” We all make judgments which as long as judge fairly it is OK BUT JUDGE FAIRLY. TO USE THE FIRST VERSE WITHOUT THE OTHER VERSES DO NOT EVEN MAKE SENSE.

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @DaveB  @Evermyrtle  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 What kind of Bible do you study from DaveB. You’re ignorance is showing.

        • autonomous 1

          @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 Accepting someone who has homosexual proclivities does not mean that you accept the homosexual lifestyle and co-opting the word “gay” to make perverted practices sound acceptable is an abomination in itself.

        • Evermyrtle

          @autonomous 1  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492

          HIS WORD does tell us not to be associated with people that commit abominations.

        • DaveB

          @EricHaulenbeek  @Evermyrtle  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 “Your” ignorance is slipping out a bit, as well. To what are you referring?

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @autonomous 1  @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 Define the word “accepting”.  And it was the sodomites who first co-opted the word GAY.

        • NavyJR

          @autonomous 1 How right you are on both counts!  Words HAVE meanings and if those meanings are co-opted or perverted to mean something very different, there can be NO communication, which is a good part of why there’s such a HUGE divide in this nation now!  “Gay” means happy, or light-hearted; I have yet to met a person suffering from that particular set of behavioral disorders who FITS that definition of the word and refuse to use it in connection with them!

        • dadjhb

          @RachelGuess  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492
          If you read you Bible carefully, God has already judged the gay life style as a sin.  Thus, in a loving way, Christians must take the same approach with the homosexual as any sinner…that is, in a loving way, inform him of God’s love for him and the need to repent.  I too have friends who are living a gay lifestyle but they are my friends and I have no problem of telling them that they are not following Jesus.  Our job is to rescue the lost!

        • RachelGuess

          @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492

          Please cite your verse here, because I am not familiar with anything in the Bible that makes that statement.  My point is that in my opinion, God does not want us to judge each other, we are each responsible for our own actions and we will be judged by Him, any other judgments placed upon us by other people, the judicial system, etc, are secondary to His judgment.  I CHOOSE whether or not to accept a particular lifestyle for myself, on how I make my own personal choices, on how to raise my child, and I accept responsibility for these choices, but it is NOT my place to interfere with God’s judgment of others.  I believe that the Bible versus I quoted above indicate quite clearly that He sits in judgment upon us, so who are we to subvert His will?

          Pride goeth before a fall (Proverbs 16:18).

        • Evermyrtle

          @RachelGuess  @autonomous 1  @Inside Agent  @ibz1492 You are right GOD is the “ALL TIME JUDGE OF EVERY PERSON EVER TO WALK THE EARTH. You can find this judgment in
          Matthew 25:31-34,  but the entire chapter relates to what will be occurring at that time.

          The scripture about judging can be found in;

          Matt 7: 1-5.
          And of course if you have  a child you know that you do make judgments as you raise that child. You make judgments of what is good for the child and what is bad for the child, if the child needs to  be punished for soothing he has done or just talk to him. . We cannot get through life without  making judgments and judging people. It may be fair and it may not be fair. You see a man throw a unwanted puppy out the window of a car, immediately you make a judgment, if only in your mind.  People who say “Judge not” and stop right there, do not understand or do not read the entire scripture.

          GOD tells us if we judge others fairly HE will judge you fairly. HE will judge us just how we judge others. We may condemn someone  for telling some one else  to “shut up”,that was o rude, we think, people shouldn’t do that, While he is married and just last night , took his neighbors wife to bed. We can judge other people but cannot look at our selves and see our sins or maybe simply don’t care.

          I hope this does not confuse you more than it helps.

      @ibz1492 Can we use your daughter and her children as ‘demonstration tools’? If not, let’s just randomly pick out students in class and ‘force’ them to participate in foreplay in front of the whole class.  I am sure that it won’t affect their feelings and emotions as the rest of the class is FORCED to watch and participate. This practice is 100% wrong! If it was OK, God would have said so, but he didn’t. I have a friend whose name is Gaye. Because of perversion, she is abused constantly. The term is homosexual or queer. Stop the perversion, please!

    • idagney

      @ibz1492 Because you have a mental illness, is no reason you should demand that normal people all adopt acceptance of the perversions you embrace. Homosexual activists are destroying normal society for all of us and for the future. It is wrong, evil, and extremely selfish, as are you.

      • ibz1492

        @idagney  @ibz1492

    I find the talk of acceptance and tolerance to be extremely frustrating! My freedoms are being taken away everyday! I believe in Christianity and that religion and state should not be separated. I believe that murder should have consequences. Do my kids get to pray in school? No! Is there any price paid by the women who have infants ripped apart and suctioned out of their womb? No! And no consequence for the doctor who does it. The thought of being taught acceptance by intolerant people who don’t approve of my conservative views is nearly laughable.

    • NavyJR

      What you’re not getting here is that “acceptance and  tolerance” is ALWAYS a one-way street TOWARD those intolerant and un-accepting folks who are DEMANDING it; but NOT from them toward others.  Religion and state should be separate; but only tot he extent that thee should be no single religion that is held in the position of “state” religion {as the Church of England, or the Catholic Church was through most of Europe for centuries, or the Islamic faith is in many Middle Eastern nations}, to the exclusion of all others, and /or their detriment; but NOT separated FROM the state, in the way that the ACLU would have us believe, or the Atheists, in the context of excluded from our society, or our government.  For example “prayer in school’ could mean a minute or so at the start of the day for EACH to pray quietly, and if one prays to Allah while another prays to Krishna, and a third to Jesus, exactly WHO is hurt by that?  If a student doesn’t wish to pray, he can think about the beauty of nature or what the day ahead might hold and just be quiet for that minute.  But banning the practice of one group or stifling it, to satisfy another is WRONG for all!  If ONE is not fully free,  NONE are; but fully free doesn’t mean to demand that others change or give up so another can take supremacy somehow.

  • NavyJR

    @ James Maxwell:  I’m not sure what you think you read in my profile here; but NavyJR is what you call a Navy “kid” and since both my parents served in the Navy during WWII, I am a Navy junior.  I was also a JG in the Navy Nurse Corps, myself; but I’ve never been in the closet or otherwise about my sexuality; which is definitely hetero!  I did have to deal with homosexuals in the military, on occasion, usually the ones who survived their fellow Marines discovering their proclivities and expressing their feelings on the issue; on the individual…not all did survive that.  There was also one I caught making unwelcome advances toward one of my civilian aides, with whom I had to deal. And there have been many of both genders over the years since.  Generally, I don’t really care how they choose to live their lives, until they start intruding on mine and telling me what I have to believe/feel; THEN they’re going to run into trouble!

  • LarryChambers

    I don’t take the time to read articles of this nature. This just shows how evil has begun to go foward full steam.
    Our nation has a serious illness. It is not economical, that’s workable, but our leaders lack the common sense approach to make it a reality. Religion, well, that’s part of the problem. Greed? No, men have always been greedy and always will be. Our problem is a spiritual problem. When we decided that we no longer wanted God in our schools, our courts, our public places and now of all places our government, and believe it or not in some churches. This nation was formed on divine principles. It is not a Christian nation because it does not require everyone to be a Christian. But it is set up on Biblical principles. One man- one woman, freedom of speech, a right to privacy and military strength. This progression of evil  has been snow balling ever since  about the sixties.
    As you follow time through the recent years you can see more and more of God being pushed out of nearly every-thing. From Christmas, it’s Santa and gift giving, Easter, it’s the bunny, eggs and baskets. Even Thanksgiving has lost most of its spiritual connotations. They are anymore symbolism without reality. We are overun with sexual immorality and our leaders do not care about the mental health of your children. You see, if you voted for O, then you voted for or agreed with every-thing he signed into law including gay marriage. I can tell you first hand that coming out of this sexual enviroment will cause devestating affects on the human mind. Satan is after the children so that they can grow up with this mentality and teach it to the next generation. Pray that somehow, someway a stop can be put to this immediately. Please do not let your kids be subject to this, Ipromise you it will damage them for life.

    The ‘main’ purpose of ‘Maine’ is to legalize sodomy and to teach their children gay is good but none of the issues that involve the homosexual contagious behavior is bad and therefore explain to them how the spread of specific disease’s because of deviant behaviors occurs. Instead this issue only serves one purpose: expose children to the sick attraction propaganda geared to increase their sexual inquiry into a lifestyle of lust rather than the natural order of sex and love.

    So ibz1492, you claim to be gay yet you have an adult daughter; that makes you bisexual as I see it. Obviously your need for sexual release was not restricted to anything but your own satisfaction and that sir does not require it to be taught in the classroom but for the indoctrination of innocent children.

    • EE

      @DianePenn
      This is the way I see it.
      All the people that believe as the queers do leave me and my kids alone to our belief in GOD and don’t ask me to pay for your evil and disastrous ways. Look at the diseases your queer ways cause.

      How about this non-religious research, gleamed for the US CDC in Atlanta, GA: Homosexuality ranked as one of the top “Risky Behaviors” rated by the CDC. Practioners of the homosexual lifestyle experience rates of disease 25% TO 65% greater than the general population would be expected to experience for the same disease, including cervical cancer, penis cancer, anus cancer, loss of anus muscle control, colon cancer, breast cancer, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, sex warts, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, mental illness, liver disease and more. And we want to promote this as a “normal” lifestyle, one of no choice? I disagree with Mr Darwin on species evolving from one into another species. However, I do agree with Mr. Darwin on this: Natural selection says that it takes a male and female to reproduce, and that in nature it will naturally allow to die what is not viable. Homosexuality is therefore not part of natural selection it is a choice or otherwise it would be prevalent across the board. I can not will not promote it..

  • Budman68

    “Sadly, it passed by a 53% to 47% margin, making it the first time a same-sex marriage measure was passed by popular vote of the people.”

    Equal protection of the law is not subject to “popular vote of the people.” All those laws and constitutional amendments forbidding same-sex marriage WILL be struck down as in violation of the 14th Amendment.

  • Budman68

    You cannot be “recruited” to be gay. Either you are, or you aren’t.

    • Bornandbredtexan

      @Budman68 Who told you that? Another gay?

       NONSENSE! I know of a little boy down the street who was repeatedly molested by a gay man and that little boy grew up to be gay and is now in prison! Homosexuality  is PURE EVIL and now part of the OBAMANATION!

        • Budman68

          @Evermyrtle  @MaryCrum  @RaptureReady777 You are correct Evermyrtle, only to the extent that an adult should never molest a child, even if the child is gtay.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  @MaryCrum  @RaptureReady777  DO TELL WHAT ABOUT IT THAT IS NOT EVIL.  I CANNOT SEE EXACTLY WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM.

        • Budman68

          @Evermyrtle  @MaryCrum  @RaptureReady777  That’s what your Bible claims, at least to the extent it has been mistranslated and misused. There are quite a few other things forbidden in the same passages, yet “good Christians” today simply ignore those.

      • Budman68

        @RaptureReady777 It is very likely that the gay man could tell that the boy was also gay. Yes, children can be and are gay. Even when they don’t have a clue what it means.

        • http://www.GodofIsraelisReal.com/ RaptureReady777

          @Budman68
           NONSENSE! His brothers and sisters are all normal! What Poppycock! You can’t marry your cousin or brother or sister! Can you! It is wrong and worst than TABOO!! You don’t marry your Mother or Father! I mean come-on please! This is not at all discrimination saying that two men can and should NEVER marry. It is all over the Bible not just Leviticus! It is a serious sin! Enough that without repentance one will be left out of the Kingdom. These sins are habitual and just like anything else, food-overeating, drug addiction, booze etc. They are all very very difficult to overcome! Does this mean we sanction it and encourage it! NEVER!

        • Budman68

          @RaptureReady777 The question is about HIM, not his brothers or sisters. Who said anything about marrying anyone’s brother or sister? Seriously, where do you people come up with this stuff?!

          And no, it is not “all over the Bible.”

      • tnbroker1

        This is, unfortunately the primary method of of recruiting to the homosexual lifestyle. LLAMBDA has admitted that it is their goal to make it legal to have homosexual relations with young boys to age 12, legal.

    • idagney

      @Budman68 You are mistaken. Homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, however they may try to pretend it isn’t. There is no “gay” gene and every human being has the option to choose their conduct. No one can BE “gay”. They can take part in homosexual behavior, or not. It is up to every individual. Militant homosexuals try to convince children that they should “try it” and then, if they do,  that this constitutes a state of “being”. It is a huge trap to confuse and indoctrinate the young and unwary.  The homosexual activist, Daniel Villareall is quoted above, SPELLING IT OUT for dummies,
      “Recruiting children?” You bet we are.

      • Budman68

        @idagney You are so wrong. Being gay is neither a lifestyle nor a choice. It is a state of being. You are also wrong that one cannot “be” gay. If one is gay, one IS gay.

        What you and others of like mind overlook is that one can be gay AND engage in homosexual sex, one can be gay AND engage in NO sex, or one can be NON-gay and still engage in homosexual sex (such as in prison or in the military).

        What Daniel Villareall is referring to as “recruiting” is to turn young people away from the bullying they do so frequently toward anyone who is either gay or perceived to be gay. That bullying is a learned behavior, and frequently it is learned from the attitudes of people LIKE YOU.

        • autonomous 1

          @Budman68  @idagney What is all this discussion about happy, carefree people (GAY?), Aren’t the discussions really about HOMOSEXUAL life styles?  Trying to make a perversion sound respectable with a misnomer is an abomination in itself.

    • Kangeroo

      @Budman68
       Then why DO they recruit?

    • Kangeroo

      @Budman68
       Then why do they recruit?

      • Budman68

        @Kangeroo To try to stop the bullying which is done to youngsters who are either gay or perceived to be gay. Bullies are created in families headed by bigoted and uninformed parents.

        • NavyJR

          @Budman68  Bullying is sadly a “normal’ part of growing up; and if we don’t learn how to deal with them appropriately in school while growing up we get Obamas and Chamberlains who don’t know how to deal with bullying nations later in life!  At SOME point the kid has to learn to stand on his/her own 2 feet!  Better sooner rather than later.

        • Budman68

          @NavyJR You are conveniently overlooking the fact that the bullying of gay youngsters sometimes goes to the extent of death. And being bullied should NEVER be a “‘normal’ part of growing up.”Good parents will teach their children that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should they ever bully another person. Children hear their parents deriding “the queers” and conclude that it is permissible to bully those they perceive to be gay.

    • DianePenn

      @Budman68
       So then Budman, we must create an atmosphere in the schoolroom to further confuse kids who might be considered as ‘being on the fence’. And since this is an issue supported by homosexuals and their advocates I have to assume it is a recruitment tool.
      Sexual teaching is a matter between the child and his/her parent as is all moral issues. The schools seem to have become a backdoor propaganda method to obfuscate the intent and the rights of the parents.

      • Budman68

        @DianePenn If someone is gay, they are gay. If they’re not, they’re not. And those who are confused about the issue, or who realize they are gay and knowing their parents feel as you apparently do, is what leads so many of them to commit suicide. Would that be what you would want for your child?

    Queer lifestyles are like a cancer attacking traditional values.  It’s a sickness that has to be exorcised.  The last thing these freaks are is normal, and teaching your kids the truth about this scourge is the best way to fight it.  If your public schools want to include this disgusting behavior in their curriculum then fight the schools, and get your kids out of there as fast as you can.  God help us… what we’ve allowed to happen within our society is so evil.

  • bubbsdev

      • EricHaulenbeek

        @Budman68  @bubbsdev But they sure as hell can choose not to live the lifestyle.  All the rationalization in the world doesn’t change the fact that living the life a sodomite IS A CHOICE!

  • Don DeHoff

    It is time for congress to again address this gay issue with a lengthy public hearing, with all concerned parties invited, including all of the various gay “persuasions”, i.e., homosexual (male & female), bisexual (male and female), pedophils, appropriate medical, legal, religious,geneticist and other fields, along with those who were gay and have since modified their behavior, and young adults have grew up in a gay home or environment. The hearing should be wide-open as to subject matter, such as causes (if any),  social problems, raising children, proper “title” for couples living together, STD issues, contracts, partnership issues, etc. Then, after the hearings, the committee should prepare an intrim report for each congressperson to discuss with  their constituents , then return to Washington with enough valid data to write appropriate legislation to will put the varying issues to rest. I will wager that the findings will be at odds with most all of the current understandings and  findings, especiallly as pertains to children being raised in a gay environment.,

    • themerryinfidel

      @Don DeHoff
       I’m sorry Don, but we don’t need another “Government Study”, paid for with our tax dollars, to prove that homosexuality is deviant, unnatural behavior.  The normal people already know it, and the homosexuals won’t pay any attention to it anyway.

  • Dsmenagerie

    Much to be said from a religious point of view and nothing from the science community.  After years and years of study and trying to change homosexuals, the consensus of opinion from the science community, is that it is not a choice and that it is not possible to change  I can’t imagine anyone wanting to be gay. with all the condemnation from the church and those who claim to know God’s will and the teachings of the Bible.  I am sorry for all of you and may God have mercy on your souls.  I am not going to participate in this discussion any more.  Your minds are closed.

    • Kangeroo

      @ninya61
       Then why the need to “recruit” huh?

    • NavyJR

      @ninya61 Then why have people who HAD the will to do so succeeded?  ANYONE who knows anything about behavioral disorders can easily answer that.  IF the person with said disorder doesn’t WANT to do the necessary work to change it; NOTHING can “fix” him/her.  That doesn’t mean the DISORDER can’t be altered {I don’t say cured because like all such disorders it’s a lifelong project maintaining the desired behavior as the old habits will always try to sneak back in}, but once the initial work is done, the maintenance is much easier.  The principles are the same with all behavioral disorders which are LEARNED behaviors; which is why they need to “recruit” as Kangaroo put it.  Also the concept of “misery loves company” comes into play here; if they’re miserable with themselves, as most certainly SEEM to be, hence the need to “convince” us all just how “normal” and “happy” they are, with their overt demonstrations and parades and so on.  How many heteos NEED to parade like that to convince themselves and others of those things about themselves???  But I digress…  LEARNING in humans begins in the 5th month of gestation, and we still don’t know WHEN this is learned in life; but from within my own family, I can see that it DOESN’T require the presence of a homosexual parent in the mix to do so.  I can extrapolate that someone demonstrating this behavior will only make it that much more likely for the child exposed to it to be dysfunctional in the same manner or one similar, since parents can only pass along what they know.

    • PreObamaVeteran

      @ninya61
       Homosex is a ‘passion,’ not an orientation. Like any passion, they’re hard to give up.

      • DianePenn

        @ninya61
         I have to suppose some people confuse passion with habit. Most habits in fact are LEARNED and oft times in relation to a nurtured orientation.

    • LarryChambers

      @ninya61 Please, I implore you not to qiut the fight. You mentioned God in your comment. As Christ said in John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also in me. Don’t become distracted by the things going on in the world. He is giving us the confidence that by believing in Him is the answer to our problems and solutions and that we need not fear anything or anybody. But, we have a spiritual responsibility as saints (those who believe and follow after Christ) to comfort, admonish, exhort one another. This is how we function in the plan of God. But whose heart can you comfort if you quit or who can you bring to the light of the truth about God’s word? How many will lose out because of your closed mindedness and mouth? We or all of the body of Christ and by your attitude you are adding to the sufferings of the Church. We need you, we need you, your input, your concepts, and your words of comfort. We are in a spiritual warfare and the world leaders are being heavily influenced by demonic forces. What we do and say makes a huge difference in this battle though we do not see it. So please, do not turn us away, we need all the help we can get. May God bless you in Christ, amen.

        @LarryChambers  @ninya61 As Conservative Christians,  I add the Conservative to Christian, not because I believe there are any Christian besides Conservative Christians, but because conservative is the main description, the main aim of Christians, to protect GOD’S laws as they are noted in HIS WORD. .

        We do not have a choice if we are Christians, we must STAND AND FIGHT THE EVIL THAT ENCOMPASSING EVERYTHING CHRISTIAN, AND DECENT IN OUR COUNTRY. IT SEEM LIKE A TRAIN GONE OUT OF CONTROL WIPING OUR EVERY THING IN IT’S PATH. WE MUST FIGHT WITH ALL THAT HE HAS GIVEN US TO FIGHT WITH, DON’T COWER FOR ONE MOMENT TO WORRY ABOUT “WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK?” IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT PEOPLE THINK, WE HAVE A JOB TO DO, WE MUST NOT BE FOUND LACKING IN OUR DUTY, TO THE ONE WHO HAS GIVEN US ACCESS TO EVERYTHING  THAT HE EVER MADE, AND ALL OF HIS LOVE.

    Fathers need to know when this is happening and go to the schools en masse to show these creeps how they will be HANDLED….Where are the parents?

    As a retired public school teacher I am convinced that our only hope is to rescue our children from the public (government) schools and raise a godly generation. Please see “Call to Dunkirk” at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRGZLSVph3A.

    Public schools cannot be redeemed. Saying we should not abandon them is like saying the passengers of the Titanic should have stayed aboard because the band was playing good music and the captain was a good man.

    @motormouth: Noisier and more litigious both.  The only reason that’s not still listed in the DSM as a behavioral disorder has to do with MONEY, not a medical decision!

    NavyJr.  I am respectful of your beliefs as well. I would just like to tell you personally that my heart has been changed by the Ultimate Healer in every way known to man and beyond. I feel I would have failed you if I did not tell you. Leave your heart open to the Creator, maybe even ask Him to show Himself to you. Ask for Truth. You won’t be disappointed.

    I doubt any parents would, but could they bring a law suit showing pornography to under age children?

    • Chuck

      @mycatstinks Actually, a civil lawsuit would be less appropriate than criminal charges, since showing porn to kids IS illegal.  Outraged parents in the case mentioned could probably to to the local district attorney and request that criminal charges be lodged against the perpetrators… including the school authorities for allowing it to happen.

    Maine, like California is full of fruits and nuts.  Maybe one day, they both will just break off and fall into the ocean taking their homosexual freaks with them.  I think the liberal mentality is a disease that  has affected all the New England States.

    Maine’s RINO, Olympia Snowe is retiring, thank God.   With RINO Scott Brown of Massachusettes getting defeated, we’re 2 for 3.   We’ll go after the other Maine RINO, Susan Collins in the mid term.   The only thing you find in the middle of the road are dead skunks.

    HOMOSEXUALITY IS a MENTAL SICKNESS. HOMOSEXUALS ARE PEDOPHILES and what they are doing IS GROOMING CHILDREN to be RAPED by THEM!!!
    HOMOSEXUALS MUST be EXTERMINATED!!!!  That IS the ONLY solution!!!

    • Budman68

      “HOMOSEXUALITY IS a MENTAL SICKNESS.”

      No, it isn’t. You’re entitled to your opinion, but your opinion is completely wrong.

      • NavyJR

        @Budman68 No, it’s a learned behavioral disorder, as are many other ‘things that come under the large umbrella of “mental illnesses” and it would still be found in the DSM V listed as such, along with all other sexual aberrations, but for the fact that your lobby and the ACLU threatened to SUE the APA “out of business” and they made a FISCAL decision to keep serving others who wanted to be helped!

        • Budman68

          @NavyJR Oh, good grief. It is no more a “learned behavioral disorder” than is heterosexuality. And my recollection of that change includes none of what you claim. There was no financial involvement at all, nor any threats of lawsuits. Nor do I recall the ACLU being involved. It was a vote of the members of the allegedly appropriate organization at the appropriate meeting.

          P.S. All those young gay people have no “learned behavior” to rely on when they realize they are gay. The vast majority have had no sexual experience at all. As such, it cannot possibly be “learned.”

  • http://www.numbersusa.com/ nax777

    Gay rights has nothing to do with pedophilia, they just want kids to know it’s okay to experiment.
    In more news… Yes, the right direction. A larger Latino Socialist block, a larger Asian Socialist block and don’t forget a larger Muslim Sharia Law block. The African-American block is literally shrinking not just being outnumbered just like the Native-American and Caucasian-American. (2010 US census)
    Guess which voter blocks are becoming more and more un-important and were it will lead the Parties.
    Yes, this makes complete sense. Increase the grossly unsustainable mass immigration numbers, both legal and illegal. This way the two Party system can give us choices over leaders like Ahmadinejad, Chávez and Kim Jong-Il. Such leaders will be Mayors and Governors.
    Yes it’s better to be overthrown by unarmed citizens than an armed military. Since our leaders not only did nothing to prevent grossly unsustainable mass illegal immigration numbers they made legal immigration numbers even larger than the illegal numbers.
    Many have been elected since the early 90’s because of their strong stance to reduce both legal and illegal immigration numbers. Most did not walk-it like they talked-it. Government leaders in all three Houses for decades are guilty of plotting and committed acts to overthrow the Federal Government.
    To use the US system of governance against its people and government required one devastating last step, overpopulation via immigration. Yes, it’s time to surrender to socialism and Sharia.
    If immigration numbers remained the constant that they were in 1980 (the last year before mass legal immigration began) US population growth would have never reached 250 million and start a decline in 2040 if birth rates remained the same, less than two children per woman.
    Source; US census from 1970 to present, the decline is a different issue that could have been resolved without increasing immigration rates. Annual immigration replacement numbers have never exceeded 250,000 and have been over one million since 1985.
    If you have not noticed my “yes” statements are sarcastic. I take no comfort in knowing that most will fail and will not encourage anyone to join the majority.

      @nax777 The main aim of this government is to turn the country against GOD AND ALL OF HIS WORD It has joined Satan in taking over the world, to turn all things to evil. Humans as humans are not to be taken into consideration It is a fight by Satan and his people to take control. Satan main aim is to take over as the “god of the world” and is trying with his followers to change all of the good in the world to evil. I believe we have gone about as far as GOD will allow before HE decides to put an end to this  struggle of Satan to control. Christians must continue to stand strong against this evil we cannot give up, we will likely be persecuted here in America before it is finished, we must not give in, we be ready to do what is necessary.

      • MaryCrum

        @Evermyrtle @nax777 We must pray for each other for courage and strength. Christians don’t need to bicker at this point. We are facing a very real evil and yes we will be persecuted. It has already begun and it will only get worse, resulting in the shedding of our blood. Christ died for me and I pray that by His grace I will die for Him. My Lord and my God, please help us to know and always do Your Holy Will.

        • Evermyrtle

          @MaryCrum  @Evermyrtle  @nax777 Did I sound like I was bickering? I’m sorry, didn’t mean to sound like that. I’ll read my post a little more carefully next time. Here are some scripture that gives HIS people hope.

          Romans 8: 31-39
          31. What shall we then say to these things: If GOD be for us who can be against us??
          32. HE that spared not HIS own SON, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall HE not with HIM also freely five us all things?
          33. Who shall lay anything tot he charge of GOD’S elect? It is GOD that justifieth.
          34. Who is he that condemneth? It Is CHRIST that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of GOD, who also maketh intercession for us.
          35. Who shall separate us for the LOVE OF CHRIST? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine,or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
          36. As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the daylong’ we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter
          37.  Nay, in all these things we are more that conquerors through HIM that loved us.
          38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, not principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
          39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD, which is in CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

        • MaryCrum

          @Evermyrtle @nax777 I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that you were bickering. It just seems that so many are giving you a hard time and I was telling allof them to stop and unite to pray as we all are facing Evil itself. Please don’t think that I meant you. God bless you, always.

        • Evermyrtle

          @MaryCrum  @Evermyrtle  @nax777 When ever you are speaking up for GOD you can expect the opposition and sometime it can get very ugly. I answer the best  I can with what GOD has given and thanks to HIM I believe I have done OK. Thanks for caring!!!

    Schools should ONLY be teaching basic core courses like reading, writing , math and history. Parents need to be aware of their children’s curriculum and ensure only these basic core courses are taught. Sex education,of any kind, should NOT be the school system.

      @k33j88 You are correct . God could not have been more clear.

  • El_locoJp

    Why can’t anybody understand that every “member” of the LGBT is an irrational psychotic?  They don’t think nor behave like “normal” people.  Their “sickness” is not evil or “sin”, but it is destructive to an orderly, productive, well functioning society.  They know and realize this but are desperate to cover up the fact of their insanity and to achieve “normalcy”.  We must NOT let them destroy our society just so they don’t feel so ashamed of themselves.

    • LarryChambers

      @El_locoJp It is because they refuse to be enlightend to the true knowledge of God. Therefore, they remain in direct opposition of His will for mankind. People who do not believe in Christ cannot understand this be cause He nor His Spirit lives within them. And yes, it is evil and is sinful. But, you don’t have to be a Christian to know that it is agaisnt the very law of life itself. Nearly every-thing in life teaches us that principle. Male and female makes the contiuation of life possible.
      God has placed every-thing in life that we need to contend with in it’s perfect place. And whenever we remove those things or try on our own to be more knowledgeable than Him, we pose problems for ourselves that are not easily solved. We create problems for which we have no remedy.

    • Budman68

      @El_locoJp So, El loco, exactly how is “our society” destroyed because some people are gay? They will be gay whether you or anyone else likes it or not. They were gay back in the Dark Ages when the sodomy laws were still in effect. Those laws deterred no one who was gay from living their lives. (All that was accomplished was that the police were corrupted in the enforcement of those abominable laws.) And society was not destroyed THEN. Society will not be destroyed NOW.

      • Evermyrtle

        @Budman68  @El_locoJp GOD’S people are required to let  HIS messages  be heard. HE tells us if anybody does not want to hear the message we are to go on our way and leave them alone.We give the message from GOD: Homosexuality is an abomination to HIM, HE hates the practice, he did not give us sexuality to use in such a way, but to reproduce, one man and one woman, anything else is using what HE gave is evil.

        HE does not force us to do HIS will HE gives us a choice to live for HIM or to live for Satan, to live all eternity in heaven or to live all eternity in hell . It is just that simple!!!

  • LarryChambers

    @EE,I am first an American… then a Black man, ok? And yes, I am a Christian of which I am proud to say givng thanks to the heavenly Father through The Lord Jsus Christ for His incomprehensible blessing He has bestowed upon all of us who believe. May the Lord Jesus Christ be blessed and praised above all and in the highest forever an ever. I don’t what percentage of Blacks voted for O. But what I do know is that I did not. What natinality are you and did you vote for O? Does not common sense tell you that by my comment that I would not have voted for him?
    Are you suggseting that I am a hypocrit? You are displaying what is wrong in the Church and in our nation just like those politicians and their mud slinging. I am trying to encourage the saints so that we don’t lose hope in Christ and so we can try to salvage what’s left of our freedoms and rights. So please we do not need this kind of negetive input. We need positive minded Christians who are seeking to do the will of God to keep others from becoming the servants of Satan. Thank you much amd may God bless you in Christ, amen.

    • Evermyrtle

      . Larry, you are  an outstanding “black man”. There are millions o black people who join millions of white people who claim to be Christian. We claim this and sit back and look  for others to carry on the WORK OF THE LORD. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS EXCEPT SO MANY ONLY CLAIM THE NAME, AND DO NONE OF THE FIGHTING FOR THE FATHER AND THE SON. The fight is too hard. “We are made fun of, our posts are many times sneered at”, which will stop all but the most be diligent WHEN THIS SHOULD CAUSE US TO FIGHT HARDER.  Being white, I I try to figure out where the white people are coming from, I think from the same the black people are coming from, it is tied up with race. Many think in this “modern racist craze” ( I say modern because things have changed so much between the races are beginning to merge together and this thing now, is as it has never been before) we will offend somebody, but we do not mind offending GOD, It seems that offending, is not even thought of. I thank GOD for you Larry, I do hope other blacks will declare themselves and be ready to stand up and fight with us. We need more whites in the race, too, “so come on Christian citizens. lets fight for out LORD AND SAVIOR”

      Another thing that bumfuzzles me is that there is a race problem, we are not “race” we are “Christians” fighting the evil and hate against HIM AND US BECAUSE WE ARE HIS.

      • LarryChambers

        @Evermyrtle Thank you sweetheart you are always a beautiful boat of encouragement for me and I love you for that. This is what our spiritual weapons are made of; spiritua truth and knowledge of the word of God used with wisdom and in love.
        I have never looked at people by the color of their skin. Why should we? None of us got to choose for ourselves what color we wanted to be did we? But that’s how evil operates. It takes the things of God and turns them into something opposite of what God intended.
        In Christ we are new creatures, born from above. So in the Church of Christ there is no race, male or female but we are all one in Christ. Therefore, He has taken away the need for hatred and anything else that destroys your concentration on glorifying Him so that our focus stays on Him and out of the world. All you need to do is look at yourself and define the difference between your way of thinking and the way the world thinks. You have overcome the world, the flesh and the devil just as Christ has  because of your faith in Him. And you live in accordance to the will of God. “Now aint you just sweet?”

        • Evermyrtle

          @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle  I must admit, I sometimes notice the skin color. My granddaughter gave my daughter and her husband a a wedding anniversary shower, i guess you would call it. When I arrived there must have been twenty white people standing around and there to one side stood this black lady. I knew none of the people present knew her, I didn’t either.  I immediately headed her way as I greeted friends and relatives. I introduced myself to her and we talked a little while. The entire crowd I think welcomed her. I believe she really enjoyed the meeting.  I certainly enjoyed meeting her and talking to her.

          She was a friend of my daughters’ from her church and a very nice, intelligent person.

        • LarryChambers

          @Evermyrtle What I mean is that I don’t make a difference in people because of the color of their skin. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Christ didn’t make a difference between us and the Jews ,(which He was) but He died for all men. So our attitude should be the same towards others regardless of the color of their skin, since we are to pattern ourselves after Him. But we can’t help but see what’s before our eyes. That was a beautiful leap of love showing  genuine compassion for another. And then to know you were blessed by the humble means of selflessness. The giving of yourself in love. Wow!!! What could be more beautful?

    For EE: well stated.

  • Hodak

    Well, I voted against Gay marriage here in Maine  but I will tell you that this story I not true. Prism did not go to Gorham Middle school,.It was a school n Portland and they did not discuss sex acts. They discussd the importance of tolerance, ( I don’ agree but God told s not to judge others and He will deal wth them when they face him) And theytaght the importance of safe sex. I do agree thatsafe sex s important! If you livd here an had to supportall the unwed mothers andthier childre here you would wonder why “marriage” is an issue at all. Seems to me at te nly ones who wat to ge married in Maine are the homosexuals!

    • Evermyrtle

      @Hodak   Actually what GOD tell us about judging is to  judge others fairly . If we do that HE says the HE will judge us fairly. That is an action that people are very out of time with. Read Matthew 7:1-5, to get what GOD really says about judging.

  • pwr11

    I see the spiritual assault on our country as a war! Not one faught with guns and planes, but with ideals that will shape future generations. I have seen the result of the idea that “Anything goes” can bring. I do not hate homosexuals in any way, I do not even “Not like” many homosexuals. They choose to live this life and I figure that they will deal with the results of their choices one day. I do not have a problem with teaching tolerance in schools, no one should be bullied or “picked on” because of the way they live. BUT I do have a problem when someone admits they are actively recruiting children… This is NOT anyones business except the child & their parents, You have NO RIGHT to even suggest that a homosexual lifestyle is right for any child, they are very easy to pursuade at a young age and it makes no sense to throw something like this into their mind while they are dealing with the other problems that come with growing up. NOW, there is nothing wrong with having people for children to talk to if they find they have a problem or that they might be gay. It’s better to have a friend that you can get advise from if you seek it… To me there is a big Difference between being there if wanted, and a mandatory class that gives these kids way to much info.

    • LarryChambers

      @pwr11 O what great refreshment you are!! How pleasing your words are to my eyes!!
      You are 100% correct. Your first two lines say it all. Hating them is not the issue. But neither shall we allow them to press upon us their mandates which are totaly out of line with reality.

      • pwr11

        @LarryChambers  @pwr11
         Thank you Larry, I wonder if there are many “Level Headed” people out there anymore. Our society has always been made up of “All Kinds” but only recently has it become fashionable to try to force your opinion on others. I was taught that as a Chrsitian you associate with Chrsitians, you might do some out reach, but you do not “Blend in” to the way of others for acceptance. I cannot be the judge of others because I am not free of sin, thus I will try to better myself and leave others alone!

  • RachelGuess

    I am sorry but I completely disagree with you.  I do not ‘judge’ my child, I make choices for him, because he is underage and my responsibility, in the hopes that one day he will be able to make good choices for himself.  Yes, fairness is an issue, but just because I believe that one course of action is correct for my child, does not mean that I ‘judge’ him, or insist on that same course of action for all other children by their parents.

    Again, it boils down to personal choice, not judgment.  I leave judgment to God, because that is his domain.  People may sit in judgment regarding the laws of man, but not the laws of God, this is His domain specifically (Romans 12:19, Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord).  As I see it, this is God specifically telling us NOT to sit in judgment of others, let him handle it.  That is good enough for me.  If you choose to have a different interpretation, that is your choice, but do not try to force your choice on others.

    • Budman68

      @RachelGuess You cannot “choose” for your son whether or not he will be gay. If he is, there’s nothing you can do about it. If he isn’t, he isn’t.

      • Brabado

        @Budman68  @RachelGuess
        Dear friends:
        Ms. Guess statement is very profound and true…
        The way I see it, is not what our homosexual fellow citizens do, or don’t do with their life stayle. That is their choice!
        My main concern is when “some one, has an Agenda of pushing their life style unto other people… Remember that, many years ago, the issue was “equal and undescriminatory treatment when  renting ana appartment,  when the parties were both of the same gender”… That it how all started, i.e. by wanting fair and equal treatment, and I agreed with it to this day, 100%, to this date.

        However, when Children as stacked at school exits, or the rest of the citizens, are hounded with so call  “an alternative life style”…, then it makes me, and millions of others, feel upset, because, they are pushing  lifestyles on other citizens,  that no one asked for, or care to practice, and neither want to be indoctrinated or laws approved, endorseing the practice…

        Everyone has to remember what Benito Juarez (Mexican Patriot) once said:
        “AMONGST INDIVIDUALS, AS AMONG NATIONS, THE RESPECT TO OTHER PEOPLE’S RIGHTS IS PEACE”.

        HOPE my point above, will get across and  shed some light as to where, and how far, some people want to push their Agenda.

        Thank you for your attention, and GOOD BLESS AMERICA!

        IN GOOD WE TRUST!

        • Budman68

          @Brabado  @RachelGuess And these young skulls full of mush need to learn at an early age that some of the other students are and will be gay, and those gay students are not to be bullied or discriminated against because of that. That is not “pushing their life style unto other people.”

        • Brabado

          @Budman68  @RachelGuess
          Dear Bud:

          Sorry that you were not able to asimilate what the issue is!

          No one is addressing the  “bulling of someone, for being Gay” which I find repulsive…   but, of some adult Gay Individuals, who systematically continue to push their own Gay Agenda… It is that simple!

          I don’t want to be suprise in learning, that you do not recognize that,  In School, sooner or later,  everyone is bullied, you do not have to be Gay to be abused…  Or not?

          Let me try to reach you,  again…
          Personally, no citizen should accept to be targeted, by some Gay individuals, who are pushing their Agenda of, Alternate Life Style.   Please, just keep  it to yourselves.  We don’t need it,   nor care for it.  Thank you very much!

          If you make another effort, and get back on  topi, . all readers will be greatful.

          IN GOD WE TRUST!

        • Budman68

          @Brabado  @RachelGuess Oh, good grief. No one has said the ONLY gay students are bullied. However, gay students seem to be bullied to a more extreme level than any other group of students. And that IS the issue.

          In order to alleviate that problem, it is necessary for gay adults, and even some other gay students, to “systematically continue to push their own Gay Agenda,” as you would phrase it. In order to drastically reduce the bullying of gay and other students, it is NOT POSSIBLE to “just keep  it to yourselves.” Too many young people are killing themselves (or even being killed by the bullies) because these young students feel so isolated and without any help from any source.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Brabado  @Budman68  @RachelGuess  Excellent, Arches is only taking advantage of her rights to teach and raise her child as he should be raised and taught the things GOD expects us to teach our children. There is always people who think they know how to raise your children than you do.The are only interfering busy bodies.

          Stand your ground Rachel!!!

        • Budman68

          @Evermyrtle  @Brabado  @RachelGuess Myrtle, you are so wrong. No one is trying to interfere with Rachel’s “rights to teach and raise her child as he should be raised.” THAT SAID, I repeat that if her son should be gay (he probably will not be, but there is always that possibility), there is nothing she can do about it, in the long run.

      • EricHaulenbeek

        @Budman68  @RachelGuess But you certainly can influence his choice concerning living like a sodomite.  THAT IS A CHOICE!

        • Budman68

          @EricHaulenbeek  @RachelGuess If your son is gay, you WILL NOT be able to “influence his choice concerning living like a sodomite.”

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @Budman68  @RachelGuess  I absolutely will have an influence in his choices.  There are many homosexuals who choose not to live like the sodomites.  It is a decision, not some genetic flaw” that turns men into animals.

        • Budman68

          @EricHaulenbeek  @RachelGuess Well, you just keep telling yourself that.

        • Evermyrtle

          @EricHaulenbeek  @Budman68  @RachelGuess  If they commit the sin they commit the sin, you cannot call them anything else. Evil is evil.  If you do it once, you can be forgiven but if you insist, that you continue, what is it once a week, once a month, you are continuing to commit an evil, deliberately, an abomination to GOD!!! It is not a sin that you commit, on at the spur of the moment, like in reacting to something that over comes your common sense, like maybe a curse at an insult.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Evermyrtle  @EricHaulenbeek  @Budman68  @RachelGuess

          Thanks for your support, against evil.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @EricHaulenbeek  @RachelGuess  In none of the posts that I have read do I remember Rachel saying her son was gay. She only said as well as I remember that she should continue  to advise and guide him as long as he is a minor and she is 100% correct in her intentions and her desires that was to do her very best for her child. This has gone out out of control with nothing to feed on.

          Rachel, you are right. My youngest is 55 years old. His wife died two years ago and now he has a girl friend. I did not hesitate to ask him, “Are you shacking?”  He was not rude to tell me, “I is none of your business!” He said that she was  Christian and he did not think that she would go along with that. He brought a girl to spend the night with about 15 years and told him”You will not sleep in the same , in my house, but she is welcome to stay with us”

          I am not under the illusion that I can control him but I will tell him what I think. He always listens politely, and he did not sleep with his girl in my house!!

          STAND YOUR GROUND, RACHEL, CONTINUE TO ADVISE YOUR CHILD DON’T ALLOW THESE SORE BUTTS TO INFLUENCE YOU. BEST THING TO DO IS TURN A DEAF EAR!!

  • k33j88

    There is nothing to suggest that genetics plays a role in whether a person is “queer” or not.  Look at the animal kingdom for some guidance.

    • Budman68

      @k33j88 Homosexual behavior has been observed in quite a number of species.

      Some decades ago I lived for a short time in a rooming house which catered to college students. The house parents who lived upstairs had a gay dog.

      • Don DeHoff

        @Budman68  @k33j88
         Sir, again we differ. I believe you will find that in the non-rational animal kingdom, the “orgasim” is the issue, not a desire for a continuing relationship with a selected same-sex male partner. Most sexual actvity in non-rational animals is precipitated by a significant  olfactory (smell) component, that travels in the air for considerable distance. It also permiates an area containing several animals, which can lead to “confusion”.  Coming from a farming community,  I both observed  and read that the  “recepiant” usually objects to such encounters. Once finding that an orgasam can be effectuated with another male, the aggressor generates a “Pavlovilan  Response”, substituting the orgasam for the “salvating for food”. I am sure a veterinarian could make that more clear.  Again, I maintain the “jury is still out” on the causes of being gay.

        • Budman68

          @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 You may differ all you wish, and you may rationalize all you wish. The fact remains that homosexual behavior has been observed and reported in quite a large number (hundreds?) of species. There was an article online a year or so ago about two mail penguins which had formed a couple, and they “adopted” an orphaned penguin and raised it as their own.

        • Don DeHoff

          @Budman68  @k33j88
           Budman, I sense we are not communicating, My approach was that irrational animals, generally speaking, are not invloved with continued  one-on-one gay relationships and one cannot take a single penquin couple and apply their action to hundreds of different species. I am talking about the overall “relationship”, not just  the sex. My admittedly limited research suggests  that the “recipiant” animal most often is not a willing partner and has to be “dominated”. It is obvious there are  gay men who will “sleep” with most any person, including complete strangers. I sense you ignored my reference to Pavlov and his work with dogs wheren he prompted dogs to salivate just by ringing a bell. I suspect the olffactory process in animals replaces the bell. Food  and sex are powerful forces and an animal “starving” for either mayl take what is available. Again, we need a vet to amplify the point. I guess I am saying I believe there is much more to the issue than meets the eye or animals nose. I know that vultures have a keen sense of smell, but I can not speak of penquins. Bottom line, I suspect it is the orgasm only that prompts the gay animal sex act and not for a continuing “all aspects” relationship, as with humans. I also suspect there are those  involved in same sex relationships just for the sex, due to some “quirk of nature or environment” perhaps that hinders  intimate association with the opposie sex. .

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @Don DeHoff Excellent reply Don.  I couldn’t agree with you more.  This sort of behavior in the animal kingdom has been observed and well documented for years.  Suggesting an animal is homosexual would further suggest that they think and reason their sexual proclivities instead of simply addressing their innate instincts.  I’m sure there’s a wide segment of the sodomite community that would like to believe this “junk science” is real instead of the manufactured nonsense that it is!

        • Budman68

          @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 You’re rationalizing because you cannot explain away something you do not like. Get lost.

        • Don DeHoff

          @Budman68  @k33j88
           Budma68 “0″;— Don DeHoff “10″. Now, lets us get back to the real issues of the day; the grossly stupid idea of seceding from the Union, and Obama. The gay  issue is important but it takes our focus off of the Obma/NWO approaching storms.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88
          By this you can see just how vile it is, even animals do it. I do knwo that it is only certain animals do the lower intellect they are the more it is practiced.

        • Evermyrtle

          @EricHaulenbeek  @Don DeHoff I feel that the lower the intellect the more likely it is to be  There is no reasoning is possible it resembles  reasoning, gotta, gotta, gotta, let me at it..

        • Budman68

          @Evermyrtle  @EricHaulenbeek  @Don DeHoff Groan.

        • Budman68

          @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 Unfortunately, that may be the only way to rein in our bloated, out-of-control federal government which no longer follows our basic law.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  @EricHaulenbeek  @Don DeHoff  Your are right   ” g  r  o  a  n”  Have mercy on u s all as sinners but especially those who seek evil and try to protect their stand. At the end of there is a place prepared for all peoples, heaven for those who earn it and the flaming fires of hell for those who earn it.. We should think about the places to which we have a choice and work toward, with our every effort,

        • Budman68

          @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 “even animals do it.”

          Oh, good grief. By you standard, all sex would be forbidden, just because “even animals do it.”

        • Don DeHoff

          @Evermyrtle  @EricHaulenbeek
           “Ever…….”, I am 8o years young and I have met some brilliant people who were gay. I have one, very long time, gay friend who has an IQ  in the 160 range.He says he remains straight just because his intellect, logic, deductive reasoning and common sense dictates “straight” is the way to go. He also states the propensity “remains”., which leads  me to believe there is “more to the problem” than it being a “choice”.

        • LarryChambers

          @Budman68  @Don DeHoff Are you suggesting that humans and animals are in the same category?Are we no better? We have something they do not have; choice.

        • LarryChambers

          @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88
          Animals also sleep on the ground and are not high on taking baths. Maybe you dine as opposums do eating  road kill after its been dead for days. Dogs eat their own feces and anything else they can get their teeth into. And they deposit their wast no matter who’s looking or who’s property it is. There is no comparison between huams and animals. To do so is nothing more than the extremity of foolishness mistaken for stupidity by those that consider it to be knowledge. I am a worm only before God who created me from the dust of the ground and breathed into my nostrils, the breath of life. And I became a living soul. Let there be light and ther was light. Now, lets see man try that.

        • Don DeHoff

          @LarryChambers  @Budman68  @Evermyrtle Larry,  Hold the fort, there seems o be a serious breakdown in the communication process. I was trying to say that we can not compare the actions of rational humans with non-rational animals, as it has been stated by authorities that anmials don’t “think” per se. Your tirad is surely not based upon anything I said or did—or at least I hope not.  Botom line, I do not beleive you can use any aspect of “apparent”  homosexuality of none-rational animals with that of “thinking people”.

        • LarryChambers

          @Don DeHoff  @Budman68  @Evermyrtle Don, I do apologize as my comment was not directed to you but to Budman68. As I tried to explain (in not my usal flow) it is utter foolishness to compare human mentality to that of animals. Animals operate on instinct as they are not a rational thinking species as we are. Some of them posses male and female reproductive organs but that’s not to they are homosexuals, that’s their design for the contiuation of that particular species. We don’t think like God and neither should we question Him. But we should use the wisdom and perception He has given us to live in this world as responsible men and women and not change the flow of direction He has planned for our lives. God has placed man’s mentality and every animal and every plant in its perfect enviroment. When they are removed there is utter confusion and painful results. These people are dead wrong for teaching these children this evil and there will be painful consequences as a result.

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @LarryChambers  @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 You’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer Budman.  It seems as if logic and common sense just weren’t available when you were born… so they gave you stupid instead!

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @Don DeHoff  @Evermyrtle  Yet if he hadn’t made the right CHOICE for his life, he’d have betrayed his “intellect, logic, deductive reasoning and common sense dictates “straight” is the way to go.”  There’s not getting around that Choice thing!

        • Budman68

          @LarryChambers  @Don DeHoff Leave it to the fundies to misconstrue everything and anything that is said. Go away.

        • Budman68

          @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 Animals sleep? Oh, no! that means that humans can no longer sleep, as that is simply ANIMAL behavior!

        • Budman68

          @Don DeHoff  @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle The point is that you fundies claim that homosexuality is “unnatural.” I was merely pointing out that it is all over nature. Sorry if that upsets you.

        • Budman68

          @EricHaulenbeek  @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88 Well, you’re certainly entitled to your misguided and uninformed opinion. You fundies like to yell and scream that homosexuality is “unnatural.” Then, when it is pointed out to you that it is all over nature, you go into a snit.

        • EricHaulenbeek

          Dear buttmann –  You are an ass.  A dog will screw a turtle if he gets the urge.  He doesn’t go looking for a another male dog.  One of the many things that distinguish humans from the animal kingdom.  You really are a moron… please stop bothering me with your straw-man arguments.  You liberals can be the most annoying little itches.  If only you had learned how to think with your brain instead of your p e c k e r !

        • Evermyrtle

          @Don DeHoff  @Evermyrtle  @EricHaulenbeek

        • Evermyrtle

          @EricHaulenbeek  @LarryChambers  @Budman68  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88  More of that despicable ridicule! If you can’t think of a reasonable answer, and only know Satan’s version, why try to change Christians, to believe like you and by using nothing but ridicule. Forget it, it won’t happen!!

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  @Don DeHoff  @k33j88  Ridicule actually works sometime, with gentle people, it will not work with me. I know the GOD who made you and me and everything else even the universe that we live in,  and the laws that we are to live by, they are my map for life. Ridicule, to me is a dirty device that some people use when they know they are wrong. That is ll they can think to say!

        • Don DeHoff

          @Budman68  @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle
           Bud,  all I have been trying to convey  is we cannot use the same “yardsticks” to measure the world of rational (thinking) animals (humans). and non-thinking amimals who basically function by “instinct”. If that upsets you, I am sorry. Now, let us get back  to  the real immediate problems of this country, “petitions to secede”. How gullible can we be, the President has the citizens coming directlly to him via his website, as opposed to going through our elected representatives and the courts. He has the masses willingly bypassing established and proven  protocol and eating right out of his hands—a very clever but unconstitutional ploy.

        • Don DeHoff

          @EricHaulenbeek
           Eric, your comments make sense but would carry far more weight if you kept your remarks civil. Don’t get involved in “their” games of “mental masturbation”.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Don DeHoff  @LarryChambers  @Budman68  @Evermyrtle  Oh, Good Grief, by your standards, all sex would be forbidden, just because, “Animals do it!”  Ridicule never is a good way to get your point across. It usually shows that you don’t really have anything to say

    • Don DeHoff

      @k33j88
       “Nothing?” Sir, the jury is still out on the issue of genetics. In fact, we get conflicting opinions from within the gay community itself, and amoung those in the medical and genetics professions. .Also, don’t use the word, “Queer”, as it is  gutter slang expression, well towards the bottom of the definition list in any good dictionary. And, use the non-rational animal kingdom as evidence?—- both your ignorance and prejudice  are showing.

      • autonomous 1

        @Don DeHoff  —-( “Don’t use the word “queer”!)  which means out of the mainstream, but use the co-opted term “gay” which was “co-opted” to sanitize the homosexual community.  After all, if a term that means light-hearted and cheerful applies to a person who is homosexual, then that person deserves consideration as having admirable qualities. Right or wrong?  In case you are having difficulty with the meaning of my post, I abhor the term “gay” as now being unusable in any other fashion  except to describe a perversion.

        • Evermyrtle

          @autonomous 1  @Don DeHoff Gay is as far off the act as it can possibly get.Call it what is ti “queer” that fits perfectly. I do not know who ever came up with that  description but they knew what they were talking about. It takes a queer twisted mind to allow themselves to get caught up in something so filthy and evil, “an abomination to GOD” It is so evil it should not be  used int the same sentence as “GOD”

        • Don DeHoff

          @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1
           “Every….”. You will have “egg on your face”. if the medical and genetic people find there is a genetic predisposition for the problem or if the gay person is “that way” because of a  childhood enviornment.—-then, will you still treat them as something less than human? Also, the use of the word “queer”, is nothing but gutter slang, and does not look well on you. And to “ruffle your feathers” a little, I have  several books that clearly point out errors and ommissions and some well documented absolute fraud in both the New Testament and the Qur’an. I hesitate to get into that arena in that is a good way to alienate good friends. Keep in mind all Holy Books were compiled by “mere mortals”, long after Christ and Muhammad died. Not only that, in each instance, there were persons “of power and influence” (also, mere mortals) who dictated what would and would not be included in the final drafts of those “accurate unchangable spoken word of gods” That defies all logic, reason and common sense..Surely, as a child, you played the memory game where perhaps a dozen children or young adults were placed in a circle and a short written statement was given to the  first person, who then whispered  what he thought he had read to the next person, and so on. Almost NEVER did the statement end up even close to the “written word.”— and all of that takes place in about 5-10 minutes. The Qur’an was compiled about 50 years after Muhammad’s death, the the New Testament, eons after Christ’s death.. You have bear with me, if I find those compilations  were not even close to being “the spoken word”.  .

        • Evermyrtle

          @Don DeHoff  @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1  It does not ruffle my feathers,, people cannot help not knowing and understanding the WORD OF GOD. To feel as you do only hurts you. There are records kept by GOD on all that we do and say, what we believe an what we don’t believe. These things will determine where we will spend eternity. I am only to blame for the bad and get credit for the good written in my book  and you are to blame for  the bad and get credit for the good,  listed in your book. If you do  not understand what I am  saying There is some information along that line in Matthew 24 and 25. If you are even a little bit interested read those chapters.

          No, no, my feathers are fine.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Don DeHoff  @autonomous 1 I looked up the word “queer in my dictionary. It said the  word meant: strange, odd, peculiar. it did not say anything about anything about “gutter slang” the word fits homosexuality, because it is odd, strange,peculiar to straight people.I believe my source of the meaning of the word is reliable.   You must have been in places and in situations different than what I have..  By the way I looked in the mirror and did not  see any egg on my face, but washed it any way.

          Now the egg is on your face, you did not know the meaning of the word “queer”, you had no idea.  I do want to tell you, you apparently  only read  books whose authors were determined to tear up the WORD OF GOD  AND WAS FILLED WITH LIES. Well, let me give you a bit of information that evidently you need badly. IT CANNOT BE DONE, YOU CANNOT DESTROY GOD’S WORD. IT IS HERE TO STAY AND GOD’S PEOPLE ARE HERE TO STAY. Ridicule, threats and any other source of weapons are absolutely useless, but are favorite tools of anti-GOD liberals.

        • Don DeHoff

          @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1
           “Evermyrte”, It appears we have different Dictionaries. My “Websters Unabridged” (Based upon Random House sources),  that weighs about 10 lbs, has 13 defintions of the word “queer” No.5, states: “Slang (disparaging and offensive), 5a: homosexual. 11: Slang (disparaging and offensive), 11a: A homosexual, esp a male homosexual. I added the word “gutter” and being “nice”,  I left off the words “back alley”. You may use any writing  “style” you want, but I have found that being both civil and cordial, especially  when discussing seriouis issues, always  carries more emphasis. Now, I will appeal to you sense of logic ,deductive reason and common sense.  No document compiled hundreds of years after the death of Christ, by “mere mortals”, can be the accurate “spoken word” of anybody, especially when there were other mere mortals deciding  what would and and would not be included in the final document. Remember, most of the material was hand written, long before the printing press was invented and everything was  subected to possible copy and recopy errors and scribes making  intentional changes. Your “Creator” gave you a brain that has the capability of sorting out all of these issues. I am not asking or even suggesting you give up your beliefs, just acknowledge  that your Faith “rules the day”— I can and do live with that premise ever day. I am quite impressed with your knowledge of such a wide-range of subect matter. Peace? PS, I might suggest that your  last paragraph was somewhat less than civil.and that “all caps” is offensive, as is shouting. Now, just to be on he safe side, I too will go wash my face. Ciao.

        • EricHaulenbeek

          @Don DeHoff  @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1 If you really believe that logic and common sense are on your side with respect to God’s Word, then you’re out in the tall weeds already. God gave His Word to the saved, those of us who are one with His Son, Christ Jesus.  Your understanding is therefore very limited.  1 Corinthians 2:14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  Arguing with a non-believer is a total waste of time!

        • Evermyrtle

          @Don DeHoff  @Evermyrtle  @autonomous 1 Additional words  listed in my “World Book” dictionary which weighs only about five pounds are these other definitions: informal, probably bad, causing or suspicion,not well,faint, giddy, bad, mentally unbalanced,counterfeit, an odd or  eccentric person,homosexual, to spoil, ruin, uncertain,curious, unusual .

          I, as far as I can I use the  correct or the most correct word available. Thanks for the lesson, but I will continue in the correct  way in which my GOD leads me. If I make mistakes and I do make mistakes He has forgiven and I am positive he will continue  to do so.He did give ma a ” brain” and He tells me to use it and not to allow false prophets to lead me astray. I do struggle and HE is with me in every step that i take., leading and directing and still sometime I fall flat on my face, did that ever happen to you??

  • RachelGuess

    Budman you are twisting my words.  Again, I make choices for my son at this time because he is underage, such as where he goes to school and church, what foods to provide him, etc. and I do so in the hope of instilling in him Christian faith, which from all observations he has, a good work ethic, and the ability to decide for himself what is right and what is wrong.  Once he comes of age, he will make his own decisions, and whether I agree with those decisions or not, is irrelevant.  They are his decisions and his responsibility at that point, but it does not mean that I will sit in judgment on him for those decisions.  He will always be my son, and I will always love him, but I would never sit in judgment on him, regardless of whether or not I agree with the decisions he makes in life.  That is God’s place, not mine.

    • Evermyrtle

      @RachelGuess  I do not know what you mean by” sitting in judgment” of your son but as long as you live you will be his mother and if he willingly sins, it it your right and your duty to tell him so. You can not make him do anything, but when you tell him he is wrong, when he commits sin is righteous judgment, and don’t let anyone tell you any different. He may say it is none of your business but he would be wrong.  It’s no need to press the issue, but tell him.  When we sin GOD tells us we have sinned by our guilty conscience.

      • LarryChambers

        @Evermyrtle  @RachelGuess You are so right Myrtle, we show our LOVE for one another by bringing  them,to attention of their errors. It’s no different than if you knew of  something that would cause harm or bring surety of deathto a loved one; would you just let them walk into it without a word being said? I think not. Imagine the weight placed upon your conscious.

  • Budman68

    “Instead of the hearing the expected discussion on tolerance, the students and faculty were presented with graphic explanations of gay and lesbian sexual acts.”

    If this is true, then the members of PRISM went too far. However, in reading through articles written by “good Christians” over the past number of years it has been my experience that very often those articles are not entirely accurate.

         Sir, very ignorant,  uncalled for and unsubstantuated  comment. Apologies are in order, and site monitors, you should be whacked with your own “red pencils”..I prefer Budman’s comments well over yours.

        @themerryinfidel If you’re trolling for a date—NO, THANKS.

        • Evermyrtle

          @Budman68  @themerryinfidel  What a filthy mind!! And the only advice, that you don’t want,is to find JESUS CHRIST.he CAN HEAL YOU.

    • KentPerry

      @Budman68 You mean like the Poster Boy for the queer agenda Matthew Shepard and how the LGBT managed to produce an entire movie based on a true story of how a young boy was brutally murdered because of the hatred and bigotry of Christians?  You mean like that kind of accuracy where later we find out that Matt was actually murdered by one of his Gay Lovers on the down low and he pistol whipped poor Matthew to death because he wouldn’t front him any Meth.  You mean like that5 kind of thing?  Or How about the ‘Fistgate” fiasco where it was discovered through parents sending their kids to school to record these classes that what they were actually being taught was that “circle jerks with class mates were cool and swallowing won’t hurt you and the ever popular technique of FISTING and how to insert the entire fist into another boys anus.  This came to the attention of one Parent I know personally when his son came home with a prolapsed anus from the “encouragement” to try gays sex to find out if he was Gay.   Just Google “FISTGATE” AND GET A CLUE

  • Mj

    Why is this not treated as child abuse?????  ANY graphic sex eduction in middle school is much, but to have a gay version thrust upon middle school kids is just evil.  This country is full of deviants and sick f@!#s  !!!  Socialist Europe wasn’t even so bad.

  • NavyJR

    @ Budman68: First learn the difference between bullying and battery.  Second, while IDEALLY all parents would teach their children that bullying is wrong; but we don’t live in an ideal world,  and, so long as there are humans in the mix, never will do so.  Therefore children need to learn how to deal with bullying.  Battery is a felony and should be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities immediately, of course; but bullying is “normal” as a part of growing up as a human being!

    • Evermyrtle

      @NavyJR Battery by the schools leaders and teachers, I do not believe I have ever heard anything that could pass, better as an atrocity as well as this act.

  • Garbo

    More normal than heterosexual relationships? I’d like to know what that means. Also, no examples from the talk, no quotes, no video or audio? So I’m just supposed to take your word at what transpired? Turns out I was there. And Jesus came riding in on the back of Bigfoot, dressed like a pirate Santa Claus and screaming “I love Nickleback!”, then threw a bunch of Good ‘n Plentys into the crowd.You can totally take my word for it because I was there and stuff.

  • MikeONeill

    if a straight group went into a school and provided the info that only a husband and wife should have, they would have been charged with contributing ot the delinquency…. also with providing pornographic material to a minor…

    Genesis 19:1. Now let’s see how the men of Sodom perceived these two angels “…And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.” Genesis 19:5. Two angels were sent by God to give safe escort to Lot and his family out of Sodom before its destruction. The two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, as well as the surrounding smaller villages, were overrun with homosexuality. The men of Sodom wanted to “know them” (the two angels) which in the Scriptures is a term used of sexual intercourse. Whenever angels appear in the Scriptures they resemble men. That’s why these homosexual men of Sodom saw them as attractive. This leads us to more “Tweaking of Scriptures”, this time coming from those who insist that God has no problem with homosexuality. The opinion that homosexuality is acceptable to God might leave some scratching their head in wonderment as to why He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Obviously the promotion of homosexuality today is widespread. These deceived folks will not stop until this abomination is fully condoned and accepted as normal in every society around the world. And lest we forget, homosexuality was unashamedly accepted in Lot’s day also. The practice of homosexuality was so repugnant to our perfect God that He destroyed, not only Sodom and Gomorrah, but all the surrounding cities involved in this abomination. We can look back into the history of numerous civilizations and find the reason for their collapse being the pervasiveness of homosexuality. America cannot be far behind. God’s principles never change – yet the “Tweaking of Scripture” continues.

    Reap what you sow in Maine.  You voted for it, now live with the lifestyle they bring.  Yes, they are recruiting your children to their deviant lifestyle.

  • Evermyrtle

    It is difficult to swallow the fact that there is such anti-GOD practices in this country. Committing the evil yourself is one thing but teaching other people’s children such evil is completely is unacceptable. It is not the school’s place to teach sex to our children in the first palace but this???? These people should be charged with abuse of these children

    The only solution that I can comprehend is to take your children out of public schools and teach them at home.

  • kushisaac

    As far as judging goes in Mat 7:1, Jesus says in the passage itself that after you deal with the plank in your eye you can help your brother with the speck, so yes of course we can judge behavior as right or wrong or sinful or good and based upon scripture we can even warn those caught up in such sins that would prevent one from inheriting the Kingdom of God, that they put themselves in a perilous position should they continue in their sin.
    But getting back to the passage, in verse 6 of Mat 7 Jesus says these words, “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces,” so I ask this of those who claim we are never to judge, how can we determine who is a dog or a swine if we do not judge them as such first?  It would appear that a righteous judgment of one’s character is necessary before we can even follow the command our Savior is giving us in this passage.

    To one and all who are hiding behind their Holy Books. Without taking sides for or against any religion, I think we can agree we all  were “created”. And regardless of whomever or whatever created us, we stand among each other with the greatest computers ever—our brains. That “tool”  gives us the opportunity to use logic, deductive reason and common sense and should caution us about hearsay and/or blind faith. Now, we have two major religions, Christainity and Islam, the first does not address Islam per se, and Islam addresses Christianity and states that the two “Gods” are actually “one and the same”. Now, again without taking sides, it offends me greatly to assume that “one and the same” statement is true. One, does not have to be a PhD to see that those two Gods are as different as night and day—even a grade-school child can see the difference.  If the Christian position is correct, Islam is wrong, and if Islam is correct, then Christianity has problems. That leaves me “on the horns of a delima”  (I am sure someone will “jump” on that statement!).. By flying at 55,000 feet in my old trusty B-57 (years ago), or now standing on Pikes Peak, here in Colorado, I can see too much “rhyme and reason” for all to be “just chance”.(but then again, a lot of “evolution” can occur over millions of years).  I sense there is a contolling force or “entity” ( term I  use) “out there”, but that enity does not and has not ever communicated either through prophets or directly to we mere mortals. Also, that entity does not and never has gotten involved in such mudan things that happen everday on this planet. For every alleged miracle, there have been similtanous  similiar events by the dozens occuring throughout the world and there was no godly intervention. I suspect that all would agree that it there is a God, He would be “all knowing” and can do anything and everthing. He would not use hate, threats, and violence to get his way—-which appears to be the very philosophy(?) of the Muslim God, Allah.  Also, Such a god would not make mistakes, that would later have to be corrected or would he make “revelations” that would apply just to a “local” area, without stating such, or would he provide quidence to single individuals.  I realize many will be asking, “how do I live with myself and those around me”.  Well, I  just follow the  “law of nature” which is,  “The perpetuation of the rational species”, i.e., we don’t go around, willy nilly, killing each other. That “presuppses”, “do no harm except in self defense or in defense of others in imminent danger”, equality, fairness, tolerance, understanding, love, patience, peace and forgivness.—and I am sure most  of you can add to that list —-I sleep well at night!

      @Don DeHoff
       we mere mortals have it tough contemplating the Immortals that are our makers huh?  Whoever God is (and I believe that the Triune God of Christianity is) He has given us enough in what He has made to incline our minds to know He exists, and enough to know how we ought to act, as evidence by your thoughtful comment Don.  I think Romans 1 and 2 actually addresses much of what you have just said here.  I am going to admit that what I am about to say is not a strong argument, but weak (in regards to if the God of scripture exists), nevertheless, in reading scripture I find that the Bible most accurately describes what we would consider reality, living in this fallne world.  Now that in no way can be some kind of proof that the Bible is anything more that the thoughtful musings of men, however there are great insights there that show the human heart warts and all.

      • Evermyrtle

        @kushisaac  @Don DeHoff  I have a feeling that “the whoever HE is” will soon become quite visible to you.  please don’t wait until then to know HIM. HE is not in hiding, HE is only waiting for you to come to HIM. He has shown HIMSELF to you many times in your life, you only ignored HIM, did not even notice that HE was there by your side. HE will accept you anytime you are willing to come to HIM. If you don’t do that , one day HE will show you without a shadow of a doubt, then it will be too late. If you will accept HIM HE will  forgive you of every sin against HIM, even this despicable “RIDICULE”

        All people have a destination for an everafter life. It will be decided by our acceptance or non acceptance of GOD ND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. GOD and JESUS will take their people to heaven with THEM. the PLACE FOR SATAN AND HIS FOLLOWERS IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PLACE,  AS IN HELLFIRE.

        Don’t for a moment think I am trying to cram this down your throat, because if I did it would do you no good, I only want to warn you and all whO may read this post HE WANTS YOU TO ACCEPT HIM ON YOUR OWN, I ONLY WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT.

      • Evermyrtle

        @kushisaac  @Don DeHoff I’m sorry kushisaac, the comment I just posted is for Don DeHoff, but you may enjoy reading and even may agree. Have a great day!!!!

      @Don DeHoff Your ignorance is staggering!

    • Evermyrtle

      Hiding in oru “HOLY BOOKS”??? There is only one “HOLY BOOK” though there are trillions of copies  of it. It is a wonderful place to hide from Satan and his workers. Christianity is not “any religion” it is the believers of the only true GOD, who created the entire universe and every thing in it, including you!. Now, just a word on your “hiding place” HE does cover us who love HIM WITH HIS WINGS,
      Those who do not accept HIM, have no hiding place there until or unless you accept HIM for who HE is. HIS people have a home, an eternal home with HIM Satan’s  cannot offer them a home anywhere because he will land in Hell with all of his followers. Don’t believe it?? The time is coming, it will be so obvious, that you will believe it but that may be tool late.

  • LarryChambers

    @ pwr11, You are most welcome. I can tell you had a good teacher and that you were a good listner. Our pastoe teaches us that  about 60 years ago America decided it didn’t want God in the schools anymore. And that sentiment carried over into or like wildfire spread into our society. So now Bibles are no longer acceptable in our military, our courts or almost anywhere it has to do with the government. But they didn’t and still don’t see the enormous effects it has and is causing in our society as a whole. They may see it but they don’t recognize it as you and I do. The farther you move away from God, the more you invite evil and that fact is present as we speak. There is another ploy Satan uses that puts the “me first” or “it’s all about me” the total disrespect of authority in full view and that is music.
    Todays music culture has had tremendous negetive effects on our society. It has become like a controling factor. But if you combine all of this with the attitudes of acceptance then you can begin to see this come together like a puzzle. And no we are not to judge others but every tree is known by the fruit it bears. We are to diliver the gospel to all men who will accept it and pray that all men do. But we cannot give Satan an opportunity to snatch us away from the truth, so, we cannot be in the company of unprincipled people. That is a fact  it is not being judgmental other than the fact you used wisdom and get out of there. There is no room for hating and maligning in the Christians life.
    Our focus is to always be upon the character and the person of our Lord and Savior. Always leave room for frogiveness in your heart. For what does Christ say before He died on the cross,”Forgive them Father for they do not know what they are doing” and that is to be our attitude towards others regardless of their lifestyle. In John 13:34  Christ says to His diciples, “A new commandment I give you, that you love ONE ANOTHER  EVEN AS I have loved you. This is to be our attitude as well. I have some excellent spiritual poetry I’d like to share with you.

      Amen to that….

  • LarryChambers

    @Evermyrtle Thank you for your kindness Myrtle. I know what my spiritual gift is. And it is to be a comfort to the saints. But God has blessed me with the gift of writing to glorify Christ. So every time I send you or anybody something that will uplift them, comfort them, give them a moment of joy I glorify Christ because all of that is done in the power of the Holy Spirit and the love of  and for Christ. Life gets pressing sometimes and the way our nation is going we never know what’s up next. I know nothing should surprise anymore. But in this article on teaching children this awful way of life is a bit much. But for it to be in agreement with those we hire to protect us from this kind of activity is a shme and a disgrace. But this same evil has taken root in the entire world. A few places across the ocean are hanging on to last few threads of their sanity as they stand in utter disbelief that this evil would become common place in their society. Even their goverments are pressing them to denounce their Christian values, but bless their hearts they wiil accept death rather than give in. And that’s the attitude we must have to be successful in this battle. The wind has changed our course, we can no longer go on to yesterday.

    • Evermyrtle

      @LarryChambers  @Evermyrtle  We are in the end days, that HIS WORD tell us about, we must keep up with HIS WORK, we cannot let it slide.

      One good scripture concerning the end or last days it is II Timothy 3:1-8, along with Matt 24 and 25, Marl 13, Luke 17 and 21 and many others.

      School children, parents need badly to take their children out of public schools and if possible find a good Christian school or home school them. My daughter home schooled her children and several other children. We cannot leave our children in these “dens of vice”

  • Military Mom

    I for one can say ..If my children were still in school today, I would take them out and home school them….I have worked in a school system for 20 years and the changes I have seen and changes I am still seeing are WOW.

    • EricHaulenbeek

      @Military Mom My sister in-law has just retired after a forty year career in the public school system.  She echo’s your sentiment to a tee.  It’s a shame that a once excellent education is no longer available to our kids in the government schools of today.  If you waste your time listening to the politicians from the top down you’d think that ”excellence in education” really mattered to them.  The only thing that really matters to these chicken-hawks is the money that the teachers union pads their bank accounts with!

  • LarryChambers

    I think we can all reach a point  of clarity in our minds if we try to be understanding of some basic priciples about life. It is not necessary to be a Christian to understand them. We can ask our selves; by what method were we brought to life? Was it by two females or two males? Or was it by one male and one female? The logical answer is the latter. And that being so is what is determined as simplicity. The natrual order of things. You see, when children ask questions pertaning to the natrual order of things they are easy to answer and you can answer them with love and harmony. There are no threats of violence to your mentality because every-thing is as it should be. That is the flow of love. That is how life should be cultivated in its truest form because it can be met without argument.. In the Christians perspective, we are all born in sin. We inherited it from Adam. We must keep level heads about these sexual matters. We must come to KNOW that ALL SIN is an abomination to God, no matter how we try to increase its size or diminish its view. Often Christians will go through the Bible picking out sins and use them with a measuring stick towards others not realizing the damage their doing to themselves. And that’s where the judging and maligning comes to view. But yo have to remember God hates that too. As I said , “we are all born into sin”
    so, some people are born with these tendencies towards homosexuality. We all have an old sin nature this is what we inherited from Adam. When Adam sinned in the garden he brought forth death and it began it voyage throughout the entire human race. We get it from our fathers our mothers are the carriers. That’s why Christ “knew no sin. 2Cor 5:21.” For Christ was born of a woman had no earthly father, he was conceived by the Holy Spirit. So these people cannot help themselves because they don’t know Christ and without the Holy Spirit they cannot learn of Him. So we are to have mercy upon them the same way Christ had mercy on us and gave Himself up so that our debt, our sins could be paid by His precious blood. The innocent died for the guilty. How dare we hate and malign anybody after our Savior, God almighty came to this earth and died for us so that we could live with and for Him for all eternity.
    We are to help them if at all possible with kindness and gentleness. We are to harbour no mental attitudes towads any of God’s creatures. I have been guilty of being harsh towards them. But now Christ has made me see things in the proper perspective so I pray for them and that all men will come to the saving grace and the true knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless you all in Christ, amen.

  • irishdan

    Well teaching kids homosexual acts will surely bring God’s wrath on us. Gay marriage is condemned in the bible but teaching it to kids will I’m sure bring God’s anger to America. Trust me. It is coming and Obama won’t save us from God’s wrath.

    • MaryCrum

      @irishdan how can this even be condoned by parents, society, and government? This is perverted filth being taught to innocent children. We are going to pay dearly for this abominable sin.

      • LarryChambers

        @MaryCrum  @irishdan It seems our elected officials don’t carry the same sentiment. As they have usherd in their eronneous “new society.” What this does is destroy the Constitution. Evil has increaesd to unimaginable heights in the Christians mind. And believe it or not more and more Christians are becoming victimized by this satanic strategy called “acceptance.” They would rather give than to continue to persue the word of God, so the Church is suffering because of it. They like the unbelievers are more concerned with getting the economy to grow and the abundance of materialism.
        Satan  temps them with same thing he tempted our Lord with in Luke 4: 5-7. What they do not realize is, is that evil never says what it really means, and that it is not so much what evil says but what it does not say that sets one to doom. I don’t know about you but I’m ready to be with the Lord. But, I know as long as I am here I must maintain my spiritual responsibilities, proclaiming the Lord Jsesu Christ and His truth. It is possible that we Christains may get a touch of divine discipline because of the course of actions of these indiviuals if we are still here, I hope not but lets face it we are certainly positioned for it. May God bless you in Christ, amen.

        • MaryCrum

          @LarryChambers @irishdan I feel as you do. God will not be mocked. It is just so difficult for me to comprehend how so many turn against Christ. Why are they so blind? Satan is having a field day. Pray, pray, pray. I hope Jesus comes in my life time but it is on the Father’s timetable. Things are happening very fast though. Come Lord Jesus, come.

        • LarryChambers

          @MaryCrum  @LarryChambers  @irishdan Satan knows that his time is getting short so he’s becoming and will continue to become more active. I hope and pray that believers will come to their senses  bec ause we cannot continue to survive as a nation being in direct opposition to the word of God. He has been patient with us. Just how long will he continue we have no way of knowing that. But we know that warning always comes before discipline. But with God even a slight nudge can be terrible. We are instructed by Paul to pray for our leaders. And it does no good to pray with any kind of mental attitudes directed towards anyone. So, we must pray in the Spirit so we can be in fellowsihp with Him, (no unconfessed sins in your life.)
          We must also pray for the nation of Israel, as that is part of our spiritual responsibilities. The lure of the world has gotten to alot of Christians so they go back to it. But as Christ said” if you turn back to the world you are not worthy of Him.” Have you noticed how strange it is and how people respond to you when you talk about Christ? Have you noticed the strange feeling in the air? You see how people are only concrened with themselves, their computers and cell phones and other gadgets? How unresponsive kids are to their parents? How people love only themselves and money is always at the top of conversation. How men are marrying men? Well, look at this verse and it explains it all 2Tim3:1-5. This is why you see what you see.

        • Evermyrtle

          @MaryCrum  @LarryChambers  @irishdan I cannot come up  with the scripture right nos but HIS WORD says that the “god of the world” blinds people. This god is doing a marvelous job, right now . He has almost conquered the USA. Other countries where he reigns people are being jailed, put in prison, have limbs chopped off as in arms or legs, beaten, property stolen, their homes burned just because of what they believe and try to share their beliefs. It is coming to our country if JESUS DOES NOT COME FIRST.

          @LarryChambers  @MaryCrum We are going to have to face many changes with the USA placing it’s trust in Obama again. We will never be the same. We, who are Christians need to “Pray without ceasing and teach the WORD at every opportunity.

        • MaryCrum

          @LarryChambers @irishdan reading that Scipture passage is like reading today’s news. It describes this society exactly.

        • MaryCrum

          @Evermyrtle @LarryChambers @irishdan this country is in the palm of Satan’s hand. We must encourage each other and pray and place all our trust in JESUS. Jesus I trust in You.

        • MaryCrum

          @LarryChambers @irishdan Love what you wrote and it is all so very true.

        • MaryCrum

          @Evermyrtle @LarryChambers Amen!!!!

      • Evermyrtle

        @MaryCrum  @irishdan Christians, as well as all people who love their children have a choice take your children out of public schools, and home school or send them to private Christian schools. If you continue to send them to public schools, they will be taught according to what he law makers say an you will have no choice. If I were of the child bearing age, I would never bring a child into this corrupted society. There is a day coming when we will have no choice what is taught to our children.

        • MaryCrum

          @Evermyrtle @irishdan Sad but so very true. Even Christian schools may not be safe if we go the way Canada is now going.Catholic and other Christian churches are fighting to stop the Canadian Gov. from making them teach that same sex marriage is ok and is not a sin. Their Gov. is , also, trying to censor what is read and taught from the pulpit.

        • LarryChambers

          @Evermyrtle  @MaryCrum I think that day is fast approaching  Myrtle. And judging by this article I’d say it lies on our doorsteps. I thought that this stuff was just going on in America but it is all over the world. I was taken aback when I read an article where in a small country, in a very small town, the Christians were hanging on to last few threads of their values. They are being bombarded with satanic stratagies the same as in this country. In England and all over the Ukraine homosexuality is running rampant along with same sex marriage. I’ve read some of their comments and it sounds just like the ones here in the states, everybody is out to get the Christians. The Christians are blamed for interfering with their private lives, if it wasn’t for the Christians we could do what we want. It’s everywhere now. So we must hold our groud, we can only depend on Christ. He is our blessed hope. Just to mention the word government is enough to upset your stomach, so we know we have nothing there. But we have eachother and we know we can stay in prayer for eachother for here we know the love of God exists between us. For where there are three joined together He is in the midst of them. [email protected]. Call me if you need some words of comfort or just to be comforted. I’d offer you a cup of coffee but your too far away.
