Top Medical School Hosts Porn Panel In Campus Chapel

Depending on which source you use, Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, Missouri, is ranked anywhere from number six to number four of the top medical schools in the nation.  The medical school is part of Washington University whose reputation for excellence is world renown.

That’s why I found this report so disturbing.

Washington University recently hosted ‘A Night With the Stars: Life, Love, and Sex in the Workplace.’  The panel of stars was composed of famed porn stars James Deen, Lance Hart and Tori Black.  Each of the panelists have appeared in numerous, perhaps hundreds of porn videos and movies.

The event, part of the program at the school referred to as Sex Week, was held in the main chapel on campus.  The three porn stars talked about careers in the porn industry while sitting in what once was a house of God.

Even more troubling was that the $10,350 cost of the event was paid for with mandatory student fees.  Additionally, it was sanctioned by campus administration.  Vice President of the Student Health Advisory Committee, Megan Lane commented about the porn panel event saying:

“The administration is very supportive of any choice the students make when it comes to funding.”

It’s a sad commentary on such a prestigious institution as Washington University that it supports a program that endorses careers in the porn industry.  Worse yet is that they allowed such a sinful event to take place in the main campus chapel.  It’s also an indication of the decadence that has infected America’s college campuses and society in general.

Ancient Rome fell from greatness not long after it embraced much of the same decadence that we see in America today.  Is our fate soon to be that of ancient Rome?

    Why is anyone paying (borrowing) thousands of dollars to attend events like this or learn about the porn industry?  Didn’t the panel get in without the burden of huge student loans?

    And, I actually thought doctors took their profession seriously!

    • redgma

      @paxcat
       They want to learn about the porn industry because they know that after our new healthcare is fully implemented, that is the only industry where anybody will be able to get a job.

  • enubus

    Where is Aleric the Great the leader of the Visagoths when you need him!

    • Combat Veteran Seabee

      @enubus
       Why are you calling for Aleric? He defeated the romans, after actualy serving them as a General, so he knew their tactics, are you looking for the demise of America?
       Your post if not, makes no sense!

      • enubus

        @Combat Veteran Seabee
         I was using satire, dummy!

      • redgma

        @Combat Veteran Seabee  @enubus
         Isn’t that exactly what the Washington in-crowd is doing to us?

  • sheilaflanagan

    Are there any medical schools left that don’t promote Sex Week?

  • gnafuasusual

    Sex Week? What happened to just studying and getting a good education? That’s what Obama promotes, he said so. Ah ha, the 60′s and 70′s and free love. Sex in the Streets, Sex in the hills, Sex in the… Bunch of Simpletons again and now they have teaching and political professions within our sacred walls of Education and Politics. It’s like watching a cancer that can’t be cured. But, It Can Be Controlled by sane parents. If parents allow this kind of demoralization of their young, then they are the problem.

  • BarackHussein

    Well, I wouldn’t send any donations to a university, your alma mater included… why fund any liberal propaganda centers?

    • redgma

      @BarackHussein
       We are already funding liberal propaganda institutions through our tax dollars. It is about time that we have equal conservative representation in the courses and professors who teach at these colleges. But NOOOOOOOOO, we just sit back and allow these administrators to throw out one conservative “guest speaker” after another. Welcome to the progressive version of free speech and the conservative version of abject stupidity!

      • mogul264

        @redgma  @BarackHussein It’s because we conservatives, by nature, are polite persons, allowing others to have their say, and expecting the same from THEM! Unfortunately for us, THEY are NOT polite, but extremely rude and pushy, and since we’ve let them speak and do, they CONTINUE, not letting us have a turn!

        We will HAVE to become ASSERTIVE, even DEMANDING, and PUSHY right back, and STOP being the ‘milquetoast’ polite dweebs we’ve been! The liberals are QUICK to jump in and take EVERY advantage we allow them, intentional or not, so we must NOT allow these ANY MORE!

        As the movie line goes, “I’m mad as HELL, and I’m NOT gonna take it any more!”

        • delbartonmom2008

          @mogul264  @redgma  @BarackHussein You are so right.   It’s imperative that we become as bold and loud and they are.  the way our society is headed it’s no longer an option to remain quiet or even neutral.  Our future depends on how we take action to defend decency and objective morality.

        • redgma

          @mogul264  @BarackHussein
           Going back at them and not taking it anymore is a no-brainer. The fact that our elected officials are not doing that is very suspect. They have the pulpit and choose not to use it.  In the last election we the people had the votes and too many of us choose not to use them.

          Wake up America! Nothing is perfect. We are so far gone the only way back is one baby step ast a time. As long as the steps are leading us back to the constitution and morality. BUT there have to be millions of us taking the steps on thousands of fronts. We cannot stand down, we cannot give up we cannot lose this fight.  If the light of freedom goes out here the world will sink into darkness.

        • mogul264

          @redgma  @BarackHussein You’re right! The libs have gotten us here that same way…….one baby step at a time! We will have to retrace our ‘baby steps’ the same way! BUT, we have to START!

    • BWHall

      @BarackHussein
      Please check out Hillsdale College in Michigan for a refreshing contrast to the politically correct, permissive, hedonistic universities that we pay to indoctrinate our children with socialistic propaganda.  http://www.hillsdale.edu/

      • paxcat

        @BWHall  @BarackHussein AWESOME school.  And, they offer Courses on the Constitution online, and they may be free.

        • redgma

          @paxcat  @BWHall  @BarackHussein
           They are free. You can make a donation if you want to.

  • paxcat

    Oh, you can send money to the newly adopted “seat” at the University of Colorado where they hope to place a real, live Conservative as a visiting professor!  WOW!  And, we all thought they taught all sides of an argument!  Think, again!

    • mogul264

      Do they have a ‘quota’, a PC need for a ‘token’ conservative  to satisfy the liberal rules? Seems only fair!

      • redgma

        @mogul264
         Now that’s what i’m talking about.
        No taxation without representation….no tax paid education without representation.
        The minds of the children is where this battle is being lost. They own education and we are paying for it.  If you look really close you will probably find the UN behind all of these new initiatives.

  • AD Roberts

    I wonder how much taxpayer money is also going to promote decadence.  The seculars and humanists see this type of action as just good animal behavior.  They also don’t have any reason for morality or ethics.  So when you deal with these people, as doctors or on a personal basis, you can be sure that THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF THEY CAN.  That is what animals do.

    • paxcat

      @AD Roberts That is actually a slap on the behind to animals.  They don’t have sex every chance they get!  My mare and her boyfriend pasture mate never did.  Of course, he was a gelding, but most animals are simply furthering the species and that’s it which is why it only happens at certain times or their survival rates would be much lower.

  • LeeRiffee

    Interesting for a medical school to promote something that causes the spread of diseases (meaning the way sex is practiced and depicted in most porn; supposedly some porn stars practice “safe sex” but I’m sure that message, if shown, is lost to most all of their “customers”) and often leads to all sorts of medical and psychological ills for many who are in that “industry”.   What’s next, drug week? Booze week? There’s nothing wrong with sex between a man and woman who are married to each other, but I’m sure that’s not what they are promoting at this school.

    • redgma

      @LeeRiffee
       I’ll tell you what’s not next. Conservative moral values week!   Do I hear an AMEN?

    • paxcat

      @LeeRiffee So, then I wonder what they will be “qualified” to do?  It appears that humanity has sunken to a point that we are trying to disguise every sort of decadence in the name of “higher education!”  What a joke!  And, it still costs thousands of dollars by “student loan!”

  • FernandeMRivers

    Would be doctors under the ObamaCareNightmare better have a sideline job due to the fact that they will not be making any money because envious and class warfare Obama Said so…and….to have this event in a Chapel….They will get what they asked for…those attending need to know  that……God is not to be mocked….

    • JudyAndersonHamby

      @FernandeMRivers Thank you.  God is NOT to be mocked!

  • sheilaflanagan

    The medical practice will have to change to accommodate the ObamaCare HHS Mandate – including the people who go into medicine, people who teach at medical schools, and the “time-honored “Hippocratic Oath” that doctors practice by – God will need to be eliminated from the equation to accommodate the redefinition of scientific truths.  In His infinite mercy, He has tolerated our foolishness, but will need to intervene soon to save us from ourselves.

    • paxcat

      @sheilaflanagan “He has tolerated our foolishness” and our pride, arrogance and hypocrisy as well!  Can’t  even begin to imagine medicine without they Hippocratic Oath and God!

    • redgma

      @sheilaflanagan
       Most medical schools today do not administer the “Hippocratic Oath”.  Now I understand why.  It would not allow them “in good conscience” to kill babies and old people.

      • sheilaflanagan

        Is there a medical school out there that still administers the “Hippocratic Oath – perhaps one that is not beholden to the government?

        • redgma

          @sheilaflanagan
           I don’t know. It would be an interesting search but it really dosn’t matter. The doctors will be forced to comply with the law.

  • Ralph Harder

    I am a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine. What you depict is despicable and a waste of precious time and money. However, I believe/hope that this must have occurred on the undergrad. campus at the other end of Forest Park and not at the Med. School.

  • sheilaflanagan

    Where does one find a “conservative” undergraduate school offering science degrees that would qualify one for medical school in the United States?

    The Sex Week Porn Panel at Washington University is just a symptom of an academia replete with far-left institutions that celebrate every politically correct ideology that exists.

  • Redgma

    Definitely check out Hillsdale. They have free online courses on the constitution, the rise of progressiveism and American history. http://online.hillsdale.edu/. YOU DON’T HAVE TO DONATE TO REGISTER AND TAKE THE COURSE.

  • http://www.displayad.com/ Paul

    Not only was this porn conference held in a former house of God, but, most likely, the university wouldn’t allow a Christian conference to be held there.

  • JennieWalsh

    An excellent article on this very same issue is available at: hillsdale.edu/imprimis
    “Man, Sex, God, and Yale” By Nathan Harden
    The Satanists seem to be taking over the American educational system from pre-school to grad school.

  • Nick

    It’s all part of the Communist goal to degenerate us and it has worked.

  • delbartonmom2008

    Every decent American should contact this so-called prestigious med school and express our outrage.  Part of the problem is that we learn of such things going on in our schools and elsewhere and while we may be sickened by it, we just move on and don’t think to contact these people.  I always contact , usually by e-mail, any schools, institutions, etc. that promote such debauchery and write to “give them hell” in a diplomatic way, of course.  For example, just last week when NBC’s sat. Night Live did the repulsive segment mocking Jesus, I e-mailed them a scathing letter.  Let’s all speak up loud and boldly!!!

    • redgma

      @delbartonmom2008
       Scathing letters say something but money speaks loud and clear.  Stop watching SNL  and their sponsors will stop funding them. In fact stop watching all programs that offend you. You will be surprised at how liberating it is. It’s not easy but it is well worth the effort.

      • paxcat

        @redgma  @delbartonmom2008 Actually, scathing letters to the advertisers work even better – like we will not buy your products or services and will tell everyone we know not to either, etc.  With enough pressure the advertisers will pull their ads from programs that are anti American, frankly!

        • redgma

          @paxcat  @delbartonmom2008
           I like it. Why not do both. Drop the programs’ ratings and drop the sponsors’ profits. Win/Win!

        • paxcat

          @redgma  @delbartonmom2008 You can, but I’ve found that writing to the program itself or the network gets nowhere that I can see except to make me feel better, but I have seen campaigns to notify advertisers which has worked and actually driven programs off the air.  Like you say, do both, if you are so inclined, but the real money will dry up without advertisers.  Ratings are driven by “viewing,” and I never watch any of the trash on tv, so I do not contribute to the Nielsen ratings!

      • delbartonmom2008

        @redgma I totally agreee. I don’t watch SNL or anything remotely like that.  In fact, I rarely watch mainstream progamming, only the news.  You’re right about not giving them money and funding but since our society is so morally degenerate, I am pessimistic about people suddenly becoming moral and upright.  No, in fact, I see more decline and that’s scary.

        • redgma

          @delbartonmom2008
           The decline is happening because people like us are not digging in our heels and putting the breaks on. It is down to us. We have our eyes open now we have to get our minds and bodies in motion. If we don’t the decline is our fault.

  • Econ101

    I’m a 1969 graduate of Washington U, and for 40 years I contributed to the engineering school as an alum.  I stopped doing that 2-3 years ago, not because of “sex week” but because they’d never answer my questions about political diversity on campus in the history, political science, social sciences, and other schools.

    I now send all the money I used to send WU to a nearby Title 1 public-charter school that does an outstanding job teaching in a low-income area.  I’ve done some volunteer teaching there.  They take double-math and double-english classes, and they are the only A-rated school in the area.  The math I saw them teaching 7th graders I didn’t see until I was a high school sophomore.  They all wear uniforms and are highly disciplined.  The day I visited, they were studying the US Constitution, memorizing the Bill of Rights, and even setting the Rights to music and a little choreography.

    My advice to all who are disgusted with the politics and behaviors of their alma mater:  Find another school (like Hillsdale perhaps) or another cause to donate your dollars to.  The Leftist rot and conformity runs so deep on American campuses that they’ll never change in our lifetimes.  But when the alumni contributions start drying up, the schools may finally curb some of their excesses.

    You really have to swallow hard to accept homosexuality. In magnetism, 2 negatives repel. 2 positives repel. But one of each attract and cling. In plumbing, it takes a male and female to make a connection. In electricity, you make connections with male plugs to female receptacles. Taught to us by God through nature.

    • delbartonmom2008

      @CmmnSnse Love your analogy.  Sublime perfection to describe this for the whack jobs who refuse to acknowledge truth.

  • ChiefGator

    Unfortunately, this type of nonsense seems to be going on in most of our so-called “higher learning systems” nowadays.  And even more unfortunately, it seems to be always funded by either taxpayer dollars, grants, or student activity fees.  The Nutty Professor is alive and well!

    • mogul264

      @ChiefGator I’ve seen that some of the ‘courses’ offered seem be be in the league of “Basic Basket Weaving”, and “Advanced Sandbox”! Utter ROT, totally useless to obtaining a useful and rewarding occupation! Of course, many of today’s ‘professional students’ do not CARE, so long as they can remain enrolled in SOME course where either ‘daddy dearest’ or the state, or some scholarship fund keeps paying their bills!

  • sheilaflanagan

    We do need a wake-up call to pay closer attention to what has been allowed to go on in our culture. Please visit or join a local 40 days for life vigil at the  Planned Parenthood in your neighborhood and just listen to the comments made by passers-by ( if you can’t find it in your heart to pray for them, the clients, their unborn children, and the clinic personnel).  These clinics are often situated in neighborhoods where they will get the most business – in my city, right in the heart of the country’s most prestigious institutions of higher education  – and seem to foster, at best, a sense of entitlement to irresponsible behavior, at worst, a sense of entitlement to the exploitation of women and the unborn at the expense of Our Creator’s purpose for human life.  Quite a bleak picture of our future.

  • mogul264

    The inability or unwillingness (?) of our GOP leaders to actively oppose the liberal onslaught is extremely troubling!
    Since they seem to have become stunned rigid with:…. fear?, indecision?, bewilderment?,  I feel they have become superfluous, even an impediment to our fight with the liberal Communists calling themselves Democrats and their plan to RUIN America!

    I now propose all true, conservative Democrat and GOP voters consider changing their allegiance from what they now deplore, to the TEA Party! Today, Democrats such as Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson and GOP’s Dwight Eisenhower and Barry Goldwater would be doing just this! NEITHER side would be violating their desire to help heal America’s slide into a giant sinkhole called big government!

    The TEA Party is actually accepting ALL who feel NONE of the primary parties represent them! Those who feel we need to STOP the entitlements and wastage our present regime is sucking from the carcass of our country increasing ever MORE government and taxes!
