Real, Successful CEO Slams Obamacare--Take Note!

There’s an eerie perception in this country, on the part of Liberals, that government is the ultimate benefactor; the final word on what is good and right. We all know about this peculiar world-view, but it bears reminding. On the flip-side, those who are in actual positions of success, such as CEOs, and real businessmen, are demonized and regarded as evil, greedy people who have no interest beyond their own.

In an NPR interview, the CEO of Whole Foods, John Mackey, said this of Obamacare: “Socialism is where the government owns the means of production. In fascism, the government doesn’t own the means of production, but they do control it—and that’s what’s happening with our health care programs and these reforms…We no longer have free enterprise capitalism in health care. It’s not a system any longer where people are able to innovate. It’s not based on voluntary exchange. The government is directing it so we need a new word for it, I don’t know what that right word is.”

It’s one thing when a Conservative business or businessman slams Obama, but when you have a supplier of healthy, organic foods–who’s corporation you’d expect to be on the Liberal side of the aisle, honestly–makes a derisive comment; it sticks in the mind.

Whole Foods is an extraordinarily successful chain with extremely modest beginnings. From there, it grew into a model of business success. Whole Foods employs thousands of people, and it’s success depends on many factors; with healthcare costs nearing the top of the list.

John Mackey, and CEO’s like him, are the beginning and the end of our economy. His opinion of Obamacare reflects not only the opinion of many business owners, but basic economic truth. This President has presided over one of the biggest economic interventions in history and it is stifling business, which is killing our economy. It is simple, obvious, and powerfully clear.

Instead of dismissing or demonizing businessmen, we should be looking to them for guidance in a troubled economy. When the President acts in direct opposition to the advise of successful people; and directly against the best interest of the American people, it may be time to consider dismissing the President. Impeachment? Maybe; maybe not. Just a thought.

    Unfortunately, John Mackay talked about this BEFORE Obamacare was passed and the MSM ignored him, the liberals actually boycotted some stores to prove their honesty and intelligence.  Mackay honestly wanted to help his employees and all other Americans as he could.

    • FrankChurch

      That was about 4 years ago or so.

      • rosscoo

        @FrankChurch … you are right – it was 2009

    • icetrout

      @FrankChurch His stores are dens of liberalism… shut em down Mackay!

  • ErikOsbun

    A word to the wise by a businessman.

  • dwightl

    its the medias fault

  • DavidPeacock

    OBAMA/HITLER both suffer from the same type of MENTAL ILLNESS;;; we whipped the Nazis [bob schieffer] and we will whip obama.

    • downenray

      @DavidPeacock It appears unlikely that we can whip him while he’s in charge in Washington, D.C. except by seceding from the union now controlled by him. Little as we want to leave the union we love, that may be our only option.

      • Whackajig

        @downenray  @DavidPeacock
         How much does a clip of bullets cost?  Or a poison basketball.

  • wwwbighag

    wwwbighag This CEO is speaking what is reality.  The govt is slowly but surely controlling and eventually planning on TAKING OVER the health system with a single payer program.  G-D help us all.

  • mcj5060

    And the liberals want to boycott Whole Foods for being honest.  When a conservative speaks the truth it’s grounds for boycotting.  When liberals ram something through and force it down our throats…to boycott is TREASON and grounds for labels liberals love.  I for one am sick of the liberal way of doing things.

  • Gary M

    We have someone in control who has never run a business yet we have all seen that inspire if all of his Czars and other advisors Obama is a one man wrecking machine! His total experience is based upon people he has associated with since he was 10 yrs old! ALL of them were/are either socialists, communists or anarchists. Can we really expect this man to understand much less allow the free market to fully function? He “saves” or bails out companies takes the credit for those who “make”it and blames others for their failure. I think big business needs to stop cooperating with this socialist!

    • Rose Palmer

      Big business should have nothing to do w/ this person running or should I say ruining our country. Donald Trump said it very eloquently. America should listen before it is too late.

      • LESNC

        @Rose Palmer
         The problem is big business is making a killing from the stimnlus by supporting obama at our expense.

    • JaniceBirch

      @Gary M Most Big Businesses are Union.  Which brings in the the real destroyer  George Soros.

  • tforre575

    Part time and Obama care government insurance is what a lot of people are going to get. I hope at least as many Obama voters experience this as anti- Obama voters. Ideally it would affect all Obama supporters but of course, it won’t.

    • SashaMorgann

      @tforre575 Obama supporters really don’t care. They believe that they will continue to get the free handouts from the government (even though those of us really paying for it can no longer afford the bill). Obamas cronies continue to get rich while they force all of the rest of us into the poor house by robbing us at gunpoint.

      • tforre575

        @SashaMorgann  @tforre575 I know Obama supporters don’t care now but the ones that work, and there are a lot more than you might think, are going to care when it affects them, and it will.

  • PatAlexander

    The fraud president  is still in plan “A”. That is he has to destroy America from within first! Then he goes to plan “B”. Hats off to the CEO though!

  • Franne

    Obama is liken to a kid in a toy shop…Only this time it is the government.  He can do as he wants and gets away with what he wishes…no matter if it makes any educated sense or not..No one appears to stand up to him and his buddies (Reid, Biden, Pelossi, Feinstein , Holder and on and on) are All in the same playing field.  In order for America to win the American citizens must unite..or else!!!! they will evdentually live like they did in Germany under Hitler…another
    Dictator who wanted everything his way..

    • Rose Palmer

      In my opinion, he is a dictator. Has anyone seen America as it is today? Get him the hell out of the White House before it is too late.

      • mikeswann2mike swann

        i guess joey biden will be a real nice, honest democrat prez

    • wisewoman

      @Franne
       And your suggestion as to how we can unite is…?

    • downenray

      @Franne Opponents of Obama lost a perfectly good chance to vote him out of office when they chose to not vote in 2012. They have no right to complain now or ever.

      • Whackajig

        @downenray  @Franne
         It is a proven fact that in any given election only about half of those people registered to vote, wil actually go to the polls and cast a ballot.  Plus many many servicemen voted and theirs was not counted.  You are stupid if you believe ovomit was not elected by the fact that the TAKERS outnumber the MAKERS.

  • Sunnyblues

    Just one of many reasons for impreachment but I don’t believe it will ever happen.  Sad, tragic, but true.

    • Ewil99

      @Sunnyblues Impeachment would be symbolic at best. It starts in the House, and could very well pass. BUT, it must be taken up in the Senate, where Harry Reid has refused to even present a budget, required by law, in over a year. It stands to reason that he would never even entertain the thought.

      • mannasage

        @Ewil99  @Sunnyblues

      • ElizabethClark

        @Ewil99  @Sunnyblues
        They need to get rid of Harry Reed, there has got to be a way to get him gone

        • mikeswann2mike swann

          do u think he will be impeached with a nice, honest , democrat.  you guys need t research and read.  i go to “discover the Networks, Breitbart, “think straight, the heritage fooundation for my info.  they are straight and whic is why o wants control of the internet, to stop us from hearing the truth

      • Rose Palmer

        The Senate does not have the guts to do anything, they just want to keep thier seats. If they agree to impeach, they are out on thier butts. actually, right where they belong.

    • mannasage

      @Sunnyblues If ’nuff liberal senators have their guns taken from them, impeachment will ultimately follow eventually, IMHO!

  • Rose Palmer

    Obama never ran anything, how does anyone think he can run America? He has caused one problem after another & will continue untill he is out of the White House.

    • VernDavis

      @Rose Palmer You are 100% right, but what blows my mind is that there are no Democrats in
      Congress with enough brains to see what Obama is doing. America use to have some good Dems
      that loved this country, but they have all lost their love for the good old USA, and I guess they don’t care
      what happens to their children or grandchildren, if they did they would stop Obama  in his tracks,
      and not let him destroy this wonderful country. Like the Russians said they wouldn’t  have to beat us in
      war, we would destroy ourselfs from within. And since Obama took over it looks like they may have been
      correct. What is it about America that the Liberal nuts don’t like?

      • downenray

        @VernDavis  I figure there are still some good Democrats. Lots of them. But the party has been taken over (its leadership) by Obama and others who support him in his goal of destroying the U.S.A. The good Democrats are no longer heard from.

      • Rose Palmer

        @VernDavis Liberals want everything handed to them, Work?? God forbid. Many of them are so used to hand outs that Obama gives freely, our money, by the way, that we will be screwed out of. Why should they get off thier rear ends & do anything? Have to add, there are also many good, hard working & generous liberals, few & far between.

      • mikeswann2mike swann

        if you read, listen to fox news, many demos are anti-american.  john kerry and his wife belong to george soros commie groups as does hilary, howard dean started a commie group, bernie sanders of vermont admits to being a commie.  socialist, commies, progressives ae one and the same.  progressives are commies coming out ot the closet. clinton’s advisor and obama too frances fox piven is a noted marxist.  she taught it in universities.  she is an old 60′s lib like the clintons, kerry, dodd, frnk, pelosi, etc.
        Piven said, ”  easiest way to end capitalism is to put it’s citizens on welfare”.  she as well as soros were behind the “occupiers”.  soros helped put o in senate as well as WH and also helped john Kerry in his senate campaign.  Soros is known to be the puppetmaster of the Demo party.  He admits to being anti-american, free enterprise, atheist, wants drugs legal, bans guns.  he is a hungarian born commie who was educated in england, a hedge fund dud who supports the media  so now u know why with the exception of fox news, the media is abias and wont print anything against o or any demo.

        • Rose Palmer

          Every person you mentioned is a disgrace to America. These are the people heading out nation & making decisions that will change our lives as we have known it.. It is appalling & more than frightening

        • Rose Palmer

          John Kerry in charge of anything makes me want to run away to any place but America.

  • mallen11

    -0 has never been successful in private life and he is showing his inability to not to be successful in his political life except to take our country down and into socialism.  He cannot understand success and doesn’t want people to succeed in business; this is why he is taxing businesses out of existence. Next step, complete control as the dictator of our country. If We the People don’t want this to happen then we need to be prepared with the knowledge of God’s Word so we can totally trust Him to take care of us and this country.
    Jer 17:5 Thus says the LORD,” Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD
    II Peter 3:8… but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.
    Ps 50:15 Call upon ME in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”
    II Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and discipline. (If we do things His way)
    Daniel 2:21 “HE changes the times and the seasons, HE removes Kings and sets up Kings, HE gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding”.

    • wisewoman

      @mallen11
       When Obama was re-elected I cried out to the Lord, “why”?  And the answer is that God is in control and he has allowed (some of) us to have the king we wanted just as he allowed the nation of Israel to have their kings over the years — and we know how that turned out.  We are a nation which has in many ways turned it’s back of God, so God is going to allow us to have our way, which always leads to ruin.  More than ever we have to trust God to take care of us during the turbulent times that are sure to follow our rebellion.

      • mikeswann2mike swann

  • rjacobsadj

    IMPEACH this marxist or whatever he is, his actions prove his is not for the good of the American people, the sad part about all of this is so many people are blinded as to what his real agenda is, even though he is just a puppet for the higher ups.

    • pop40

      @rjacobsadj
       Been lots of silver tongue tyrants throughout history, he is just one more. I hope I live to see him get his comeuppance.

  • Mallu

    There are thousands of people that hold similar view of John Mackey in many cities in this country. A peaceful movement to educate people of the danger of socialism is needed. The more we keep silent the more damage will be done to our free market culture.

  • HowardPettyjohn

    Obama fixing it on his inhoguration day to relate with Martin Luther King Day makes me sick.  Their names being said in the same sentance makes me sick.  King had a dream alright but I don’t think Obama was in it.  King’s dream had God in it.

    • pop40

       All Bumbles did was embarass kids.

  • jsbrodhead

    There is no “good Marxist”.  Never was, Never will be.  Marxists (Communists, Fascists, Maoists, Progressives, etc..) have taken up the agenda and curse of their heroes and have turned against their Creator and willingly forfeited the rights with which He endowed them, IMO.

  • Gary M

    @Rose Palmer: I Agree! But to fully understand Obama’s motives is to know that he is not interested in seeing a strong and powerful America. He has resented that aspect of American life since he was a child. He wants a so so country where it’s people are dependent upon the govt for just about everything, to him that levels the playing field . Not for him mind you but for the masses. Sound familiar? Lenin, Stalin and others lived in the lap of luxury whilst their people’s suffered. This is Obama’s hope and change. He won’t be happy until he has created this socialistic eutopia here!

  • http://www.newsandopinions.net/ billstanley

    The “Origination Clause” in the U.S. Constitution (Article I, Section 7) requires that taxes be initiated in the House. The Senate took a House bill dealing with veterans and deleted the title and all text, leaving only the bill’s number. ObamaCare was then inserted. The Supreme Court characterized the penalties in ObamaCare as federal taxes, but was not asked and did not address the issue of which body of Congress initiated the taxes. The Pacific Legal Foundation has filed a suit (U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia) challenging ObamaCare on this issue.   newsandopinions dot net

    People should be responsible for their own health care. A business should not be forced to pay for an employees health. It should be the employers choice to add health care as a perk. besides when I was oin the work force my payments for health care was taken out of my check. Therefore it was not free.

    • pop40

      @bobmann101
       Exactly! It was a perk to entice people to their business. When did it become a RIGHT?????

    • Kissitgoodbye

      @bobmann101
       I can assure you Bob, my healthcare is expensive, part of which is paid for by my employer as part of my salary. I work for ALL of it and pay plenty for it.  With this, private insurance will be a thing of the past, with the government controlling it all. If that doesn’t frighten you, it should.

      • mikeswann2mike swann

        stupid americans think o did something fgreat for them with the obamacare.  was signed, no one read , no one knows what is in it.  docs are already turning away medicare/medicaid as obama lowered the amount the docs will be reimbursed from gov’t for taking cae of them.  my doc said  a yr ago he isn’t breaking even taking care of these patients.  if welfare follks cannot pay o’s price for  insurance and the fine,l will they be jailed?  guess we will still have welfare rolls, so what to hell did he prove?

        Also, Muslims are exempt from buying insurance as they consider it gambling which is gainst their religeon.  putting bombs on babies is ok thought.  may big coorps are exepmpt for a time that gave to dems and unions for a time, I heard 3 yrs.

    The one paragraph outlining the interview can be likened to the shot heard round the world. The new word he is looking for, to describe this so called “new system” of government is one that should not be used online or in mixed company. The only way I would phrase it is, it is a string of adjectives.

  • http://comcast.net/ kds

    Good!

  • highfive

    Kpnd of like the sound of the word ‘Impeachment! Lord I wished we could do it. It is time. America made one big mistake by electing an unknown, inexperienced nobody as President. And why? Because he is Black, like so many say and it was time for a black man to be president? He is not black, his background and father are Arabs.. Don’t stone me, this is a known fact if you only do your homework and read ‘O’s books. I did before he got elected the first time and I don’t know for the life of me, why he got elected. Go to the library and get his books and read them and then come back and tell me how you feel. I am referring to the ‘blind sheep’ following the wolf in sheep clothing.
    He n eeds to be impeached because he blatantly disregards our Constitution, overrides it with his executive orders and that is not legal.  Anyway, he is elected once again and we are stuck with it. Someone higher up has to have enough balls to get the Impeachment procedures going.. I so love this country, I am a naturalized American citizen for over 50 years, and my heart is broken when I look around and see what happened to this once great nation.
    I also served in the Military a long time ago. So god bless America or what is left of her.

  • SJvet

      demo senate would never vote to impeach O even if Congress did.  Secondly, we’d have Biden and he would pick Hilla;ry who is also a Marxist.  Her thesis can be found on internet.  She studies under Saul Alinsky himself at Wellsley and admired Alinsky’s views which stem from Marxism.  Hill;ary said she is for internaitonal court which means we would have the Un as our god, dictator, UN biggest thief, enemy we have.  She also signed a small arms treaty with them.  In one of her senate speeches she said she is tired of the  “rich getting richer, poor getting poorer”, also saod “we are going to have to take some things away from you”, refering to our snug cacoon we llive in that we just may have worked and made for ourself.  we are too far gone,  what we have now is here to stay, ony worse thanks to the lazy, stupid imbecile american voter who lays back on his welfae or unemloyment check, watches american idol or the kardashians and scratches his b—-all day adn makeks new babies

  • OhGator

    This president keeps on a road to devistate the economy and ultimately the United States of America. You wonder what is next. He is a communist and most of his advisors are communists, particularly the czars. Czars? Where in the sam hill did that come from? We all know, at least anyone with a sixth grade education which seems to have eluded most voters, excpet for those voters who comprised more than 100% of the voters in certain voting districts. But heck, that didn’t matter to anyone in a position of power. they just accepted it as being what is typical voting performance.

    • downenray

      @OhGator Steps taken by Obama indicate that he may be a Communist, as you suggest, or a Muslim, which is even worse in that our most pressing danger today is from Islam rather than Communism.

      • Rose Palmer

        @downenray  @OhGator I agree, however, one is just as bad as the other. Either way, time for a complete overhaul in the White House, it gets worse as each day passes & I am trully afraid for my country.

  • mikeswann2mike swann

    these hypocrites like rich when they want camaign donations.  ever see obama associate with a poor man? I wonder how he thinks he can llive in lavish life style without tx money from people who work for big businesses?  libs arent’t worried about poor, black, green, mexicans, etc.  Its their vote and the only wy they can get it is to baby up to the minorities on our dime.  yet blacks are still saying they are not treatd fairly but all vote for demos

  • DrBillLemoine

    What a load of malarkey. CEOs are not the beginning and end of the economy–they are mostly a set of glorified managers specializing in transferring customer purchase money to stockholders. There are only a few Steve Jobs types who actually innovate, invent and affect the directions of big corporations–the rest are just overhead. The ‘basic truth’ is companies are built on the sweat and blood of company employees beyond startup entrepreneurs. The author has plaigerized the republican presidential campaign ad that falsely slams the president saying ‘you didn’t build’ the company. That big intervention is at this moment saving millions of lives and people’s health. It is hardly stifling business to insure unalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness assured by your government and mine as required in the Constitution.

    It’s laughable to hear that Obamacare is ‘killing’ this economy when CEOs like this head of Whole Paycheck expensive foods company are similarly tone deaf and hard hearted–Bush2 would say, ‘no compassion’. The American people rejected for president of this government and defender of Obamacare two successful businessmen, Romney and Ryan for this reason. This essay says the ‘best interests’ of Americans is high healthcare costs, constantly rising costs to enhance provider profits, and widespread sickness in the general population. Nonsense perpetuated by the tone deaf, well-cared-for, and ‘immoral’ right wing propaganda machine. If you think that’s ‘impeachable’ wrongdoing, bring it on, and be proven foolish again by the prudent Senate and American people who will replace such ‘severe conservative’ Romney/Ryan/immoral thinking House members.

    • TexasJake

      @DrBillLemoine
       DR.  This implies you have been ‘educated’ by the left leaning professors that seem to despise any conservative thought.   Many of these CEOs willfully and openly give substantial credit to the employees that have helped build their businesses.  They also have shelled out many dollars for insurance coverage for those people.  Now this ‘affordable’ law will force them to cut back on their workers hours to avoid costly penalties, while unions and other Democrat favorites get a pass on compliance.
          Your last sentence proves that ‘education’ will not compensate for ‘political blindness.’
      You support a pro-gay, pro-abortion leader instead those that would support DOMA and are pro-life, and have the gall to call THEM immoral.  Your comments are disgusting.

       I am absolutely amazed at individuals like you!  You have to be a member of the 51% who just think that you are a victim and that the governement is now going to give you “your fair share”. I am a businessman who started his own business from nothing! In 28 years I provided jobs for thousands of people, I have always paid my employees well within what the market calls for. Some of my employees are like you sir. No matter what I did for them or gave them in benefits it was never enough! I could poop a gold brick every day for each of them and very soon they would want 2 gold bricks! Contrary to what you may believe sir by your Obama/Democrate brainwashing, I did build my business! I’m the only only one who had his signature on the line of credit agreement giving my “personal guarantee” if any of our client stiffed us in order to meet my payrolls and pay my employees.  People like you just make me sick plain and simple!

    obamanation did things methodically, he waged his war on capitalism and brainwashed people into believing he had a better answer called “Redistribution” and made people believe they were entitled to other peoples hard earned money. Then he created obamanationcare, and the people still believe his lie that this is good for the country. The people already had disdain for CEO’s because of obamanation and this is how the two go hand and hand.
    The question is HOW do we deprogram the obamanation drones.

    • rosscoo

      @Laura91 I have Liberal friends and I have tried my hardest with fact, after fact, after fact to no avail.  The funny thing is, they can’t come back at me in discussion with facts – all I ever hear, and I’m serious, is “Well, he’s better than Bush – Bush was for rich people.”  How do you deprogram ignorance like that?  You don’t.  Sad thing is, one day they will realize that he sucked them in and that they made a huge mistake.  By then, however  it will be too late and NOT JUST FOR THEM, but for those of us who didn’t fall for the “change” he promised.

      • Laura91

        @rosscoo
         I hear you loud and clear Rosscoo, I have the same problem. If is close family members, the first key is to try and remove all televison brainwashing from their thoughts. I do it by pointing out blatent lies in media news, symobolism in movies and commercials, and repetition. That is the best you can do.  God help Us!

    I am somewhat familiar with Whole Foods and the report seems along the lines of what Mackey would say.

    My only actual comment is my dismay at the utter lack of corroberating links in obvious places (e.g. NPR reports [where?] that Mackey says…)

    • icetrout

      @gkp00co All I know is you won’t find a Whole Foods in the Red Neck end of town… Annapolis has one & it’s a liberal sh*thole…

    • rosscoo

      @gkp00co The article does not say “NPR reports” …. You are incorrect.  The article says, “In an NPR interview,”  and here’s the link to the 7-1/2 minute interview on NPR: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2013/01/16/169413848/whole-foods-founder-john-mackey-on-fascism-and-conscious-capitalism?sc=emaf

      • gkp00co

        @rosscoo You’re kidding, right? The publication of an interview by a media outlet does not constitute a report? And I am not allowed to paraphrase in order to get my meaning across with fewer words (note the “e.g.” which means that it was an example)?

        Thanks for the link which (as I stated with absolute, 100% accuracy) was *not* included anywhere within the article — but should have been.

        • downenray

          @gkp00co  An interview by a media outlet is not a report published by anyone. It may concern a report but the interview surely is NOT a report.

        • gkp00co

          @downenray Check out the link that rosscoo provided. It’s not an interview. It’s a report. Note also that the report at the top of this page contains no links whatever (my actual gripe) and that my original comment referring to a ‘report’ was in the form of an example.
          Note also that the hairs that you are splitting in this manufactured controversy (report vs. interview [which is published as a report]) are completely irrelevant to the point that items such as this that refer to original sources of information should contain links to those sources so we can assess them (and the writer’s conclusions) for ourselves.

    That last paragraph pretty much sums up O’s true intent. I love reading the wisdom of King Solomon, and in the book of Ecclesiastes 9:13-18 he paints a picture that describes this article to the point of near exactness. Please take the time and read it. You may have to use a little imagination but you’ll get the point. It really takes the words right out of my mouth.

    Downenry.  Are you on an tntitlement program.  When you add up the number of slagards who won’t work, Gays & Lesbians, Environment Activist, 95% of Blacks who will always vote the color line, add in ballot stuffing and local community fraud, Obama was sure to win.  Want the Democrats build even more entitlements to increase the number of votes who receive aid and 2016 will give them the White House again.  The next generation is going to have to carry the burden that the Progressives have successfully laid out for them.  I encourage anyway “who can read” to purchase the book 1984 that was written in 1949 or 1950 by a visionary.  If that doesn’t wake you up nothing will.

    This is just saying that Obama and the Democrats who jammed Obamacare thru using dishonorable, illegal methods don’t understand anything about commerce, private industry, employment or wealth.  They only know that they want things done their way – right or wrong.  But if it is wrong, they won’t take responsibility for it.

    Obamacare is going to cause more unemployment and under employment because of its stupid rules of which there are way too many of them.  There have been many CEO’s who have echoed the sentiments of John Mackey.  In order to make their businesses continue to run successfully, these CEO’s have to make some end runs around the Obamacare rules and regulations.  Obama nor any of the Democrats seem to concern themselves about the hardships and difficulties they have put on the private industry of America for the sake of “their” definition of health care reform.  It will be interesting to see what the Democrats have to say about the rise in unemployment and the way that their approval ratings equally plummet.  It will also be interesting to see how they will twist things around to blame the Republicans for the issues that they, the Democrats, have perpetrated on Americans.

    I believe John Mackey description of Obamacare as being fascism is correct.  A description of Obama as a socialist, marxist and communist is also correct.  The fact that this government is full of Democrats who think the Federal government is the ultimate benefactor is going to be the end of America.  Since they demonize anyone who disagrees with them says that they are narcissistic, arrogant, ignorant, selfish and irresponsible.

  • LarryChambers

    They are going to continue to raise taxes, the EPA is going to continue to suffocate businesses through high fines and regulations. Ocare is still adding on more dung and now he’s on the move to give, all he doesn’t resrtict, our military away. To me that looks like their going to driving out all the businesses and or outsourcing jobs. The less jobs we have the less taxes are going to be collected. So, how are they going to pay the money they’ve borrowed?
    There’ll be no SS or any other programs. So what’s the use of all those political bodies sticking around? I see the Americans who can’t leave America being thrown to the dogs. When was the last time the Government paid any attention to anything we’ve had to say? And they do not hear us now because they don’t care. All of you O supporters have no idea of wh this guy is or what he is capable of. But those you refuse to listen to do. You’re going to wish you had listened. This land is going to become nothing more than an investment center for the mighty rich.
    When there’s nothing left they’ll all be gone. Our tax money is going straight in their pockets; not unless you see them doing something else with it. Again, the Republicans cave to O. On everything their caving, what does that mean? We are waiting for the final Sunset; believe it or not.

    CEO Makey comments are right on target!

    The big problem to remove Barack Obama is that he is giving money/benefits away to AN ARMY of millions of people that do no have to do any work to get them.   Still remember when getting “unemployment/foodstamps” benefits was considered, UnAmerican!  Not any more…

    You have millions on foodstamp, welfare, unemploymnent, governement jobs, and free social programs parasites.  Therefore, what is the key solution in making “all these free loaders”, return to traditional moral standards, and hard work principles, our Great Nation once had?

    In esence, this Obama-Army  sponsored FREE LOADERS – which continues to grow by the thousands, every day – are been asked to “work for a leaving”, and give up,  Obama’s  sponsored FreeLoading Lifstyle!    Will that be ever possible???   In my opinion, it is this ARMY and corrupt elections which will bring back Obama, and the likes of him, to the White House, over and over again…  Where is the solution, before our Nation desapears as the Greates Country on Earth?

    GOD BLESS AMERICANS LIKE WHOLE FOODS’ CEO JOHN MACKEY FOR STANDING TALL, SPEAKING THE TRUTH,  AND HAVE THE COURAGE TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS!

    This is ridiculous. The health insurance industry doesn’t innovate, they take and take and take. They deny coverage because they are a for profit corporation. It is a good thing to have the government step in. In fact, some of the best and most innovative care comes from the government. It’s called the VA. And as a veteran I get some of the best coverage around. Better than those with their fancy insurance companies.

    Wake up people. This president is actually doing some good for the country.

    • Oldguy

      @texas republican
       Wait a minute, all I ever hear is how bad the VA is and how we need to spend more tax dollars on it to improve this agency for our veterans…

    • Jack_Reacher

      @texas republican Perhaps you should also “snap out of it”.  You receive benefits provided by the taxpayers.  Yes, us ugly taxpayers.  Many of us do not have access to the health care at the V.A. you refer to.  But I can tell you that for decades the V.A. was vilified as a terrible provider for health care.  Not by me, but by those veterans that had to rely on it.

      I’m for the best the VA can be, don’t misunderstand me.  But don’t pontificate on how much “worse” a public health insurance company is that is required by law to follow strict financial rules that   Obamacare and Obama himself need not worry about.  If “they” need money?  Just raise taxes.

    • mtmountainman

      @texas republican Not sure I believe you are a Texas Republican. Your views don’t quite measure up.

    • BenCats1

      @texas republican I am a Ga Republican and Veteran and the VA is a pitiful excuse for healthcare and I spent 26 years in the military so don’t try and tell these knowledgeable people it’s good healthcare because it simply is not.

        @BenCats1  @texas republican
         I am lucky I live in San Diego. The VA in La Jolla is one of the best in the US. I have had 3 operations with no complcations and great follow up care. I have talked to people from various parts of the country and say the same as you do. They think the VA sucks. The VA here is one of the reasons I remain in San Diego.

    • Jo AnnC

      @texas republican I did wake up…tell me where I can find anything good the Pres is doing for the country?  Anything he does benefits him and of course “Michelle”.  They take the multiple million dollar trips in Air Force 1.  He is spending money and the country has niothing to show for the $’s spent.    No, my friend…I cannot find much of anything positive about this President.

      @texas republican Being a senior I am a Obama “Shovel Ready Project”. He ransacked medicare for over $528 billion  By 8 percentage points he beats,  James Earl Carter as the worst President. So he won @ something.
           Socialism is where the government owns the means of production, Fascism is where the government does not own the means of production, but they do control it. And that’s whats happening in these health care programs and reforms. We no longer have free enterprise  Capitalism in health care. It is no longer a system where people can innovate. The government is directing it. Guess a new word is needed to describe it.

  • Jack_Reacher

    Being “around the block” several times in my life I have come to know a few current and former CEO’s of successful companies.   Not any Fortune 500 companies but these guys are/were no slouch.  They made money for their company, their stockholders and their employees.  If Obama could hear what these C.E.O.’s are really saying he would be mortified as it is not good.  No, it’s not name calling, and it’s not about race, either.

     Discussions about skills, business sense, decision-making and the ability and vision to see this country as one and not as a far left or far right entity.  Remember, businesses don’t market to democrats OR Republicans, specifically but to Americans.   And in the opinion of those that I have talked to, President Obama meets few, if any of these criteria.

    • Whackajig

      @Jack_Reacher
       The makers of canned chitterlings only market to dummycraps.  The makers of Lucky Tiger hair pomade only market to dummycraps.  there must be others as well

  • rangers53

    Brian, if you didn’t notice, following is the final statement from the article. “When the President acts in direct opposition to the advise of successful people; and directly against the best interest of the American people, it may be time to consider dismissing the President. Impeachment? Maybe; maybe not. Just a thought.” My remark was to tell them to step and make a statement, not be as meally mouthed as our politicians who are unwilling to make a committment. “Maybe, maybe not. Just a thought”. That is downright GUTLESS. What am I doing besides bitching? I’m not bitching, I just want these rags to show they mean what they say. They have the platform, I don’t. “Maybe, maybe not” DOESN’T cut it! And, incidentally, I spent most of the past 12 months before this Presidential election trying to inform people of the dangers of electing the current imposter as our President. They sure as hell aren’t getting any accurate information from the lame stream media, nor are these ill prepared voters taking the time to read and do some of their own research. If they can’t see it on CNN, they don’t take time to check things out for themselves. ALL the more reason to have these sources make some BOLD statements rather than use the politician’s escape tactic by NOT committing.

    • JohnLee1

      @rangers53
       You mentioned CNN as a source for information. Our military returning from combat in the near east cite CNN as one of the greatest informer of the terroists.They tell everyone the next move that  our troops are going to make. This makes the roads that our troops are to use very dangerous

  • FELIX10

    HELLO EVERYONE !    Have you NOT heard of the “CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY” ??
    Obama is using it the way it was intended, To crush our Free Enterprise System which built the greatest nation in the history of mankind.  This Strategy when put in place would enact massive taxes, welfare for deadbeats, unlimited regulations etc. etc.   The uninformed,  greedy,  deadbeat VOTERS put him into office twice.
    KRUSCHEV when addressing the UN in the early 60′s, took off his shoe, beat the podium, and said,  “WE WILL BURY YOU, and we won’t have to fire a shot, you will rot from within and fall like a rotten apple”.  Don’t let it happen!
    PLEASE look up and tell all your friends about the CLOWARD-PIVEN STRATEGY.
    He MUST be stopped.

  • matforce

    30 – 40 million Americans can’t afford a private plan and are one accident or serious illness away from losing everything they’ve got. Of course the young won’t need health care as much, but still need to pay in, which is a bite, but a necessary evil. On the other hand, will they stay young all their lives? Of course not.

    Fairly comprehensive private plan (no pre-existing conditions, great health) through Blue Cross Blue Shield in 2011 = $1,000/mo. Affordable Care Act costs 2.5% of adjusted gross income.

    If you are middle class and earn, say, $50,000/yr. you’d pay $104/mo. $1,000/mo. vs. $104/mo. Many cannot afford the former.

    Another advantage is; everyone’s covered. If a person who isn’t insured because he can’t afford a plan or because he doesn’t want to purchase one, experiences a serious illness and can’t pay his bills, he’ll not only lose all he owns, but what he can’t pay, we indirectly pick up the tab for when those uncovered expenses are paid through medicaid.  Also, when you liquidate all of your assets to pay your hospital bills, what you cannot pay, the hospital will submit to medicaid at a marked up rate.

    Plus, the overhead of the private Insurance Industry with CEO salaries in the multi-millions, the executive teams, lobbyists, their market teams, their ground troops, and their other staff (sales and secretaries), then there’s the Hedge Fund Managers who take this insurance $$$ and invest it in the Wall Street casino, 2% in and 20% out on the BILLIONS they broker for the industry, and you have a reason why private health insurance is so high.

    Those blood curdling screams of bloody murder you hear eminating from the right is because that when private Health Insurance Co.s get their hands on those $$$ hundreds of BILLIONS of ACA money, (ACA is a hybrid between the Govt. and the private Insurance Industry), 80% of it must be used for (ready for this?) health care (the audacity!). Only 20% can be used for CEO and executive pay and bonuses, etc.

    • RightStuff

      @matforce You continue to be a good mouthpiece for the leftists in Washington DC.  There is NOTHING good about socialized medicine.  And there will always be those people who make bad decisions in life and they have problems.  They MADE BAD DECISIONS, and that is their problem, not mine.

      • matforce

        @RightStuff

        RightStuff, I voted straight GOP for 30 years because of my affiliation with the Church of the Nazarene, and my belief that the GOP had my best interest in the fore front. So, no, I am not a mouthpiece for the leftists in DC. I have, though, come to the realization that my GOP’s first and only love is to their masters who they take their marching orders from, namely, BIG $$$. (Not that the left is a whole lot better), When I finally realized, and could no longer explain it away, that the GOP uses divisive tactics (religion, socio-economic, demographic, race, gun rights, reproductive rights, family issues, morality, anti-USA government, aka ‘BIG GOVERNMENT”, etc.) to diverted my attention from the fact that they serve only the top, I became angry.
        Why? Because I began digging! For 30 years I was too busy to research the politics; I took their word for it. But in 2011, I began digging, and what I discovered made me furious (you’ve obviously read my other posts)!
        When all of what I have laid out on these threads becomes common knowledge, and those who are slow to catch on, or have, like me, been too busy to look into it, or had their biases blind them, finally figure it out for themselves what I have discovered, the GOP will be in big trouble, because Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, or an electorate that realizes that their votes have been used to elect those to office that would join forces with the wealthy and powerful to promote a Plutocracy, and to craft the demise of the middle class, of which I am a part, and I believe you too are a part, to consolidate wealth and power at the top, and cut away the “dross” (the ugly, overpaid, spoiled, and declining middle class, whose purchase power, the only thing that makes them useful to the top, is being decimated).
        To fix the gathering storm caused by this cash flow problem that is like a gathering storm ready to striking the middle class since the 1980s, what did our fat cats in the financial sector do to keep the middle class in money and keep consumerism up? They offered easy credit to a stagnant middle class to keep their purchase power going as though they all still had decent money like they used to. WE in the middle class are slow to catch on, or we believe that the USA will right the ship like it always has.  We all saw what happened to the Housing bubble when easy credit was extended to low income citizens… I digress!  Back to the point…
        Once this downward pressure on wages exerted by Red China’s work force, et.al., takes its toll on the USA middle class, and our only usefulness, which is to clear the warehouse shelves, is finished, they will kick us all to the curb like yesterday’s newspaper, and we will all end up protesting outside their gated communities, until they call in the National Guard to cart us away.
        Admittedly, my view of this Plutocratic movement gripping America the Beautiful, is an unpleasant one that I hope does not come to pass.  Hypothetical:  If it does play out something like this, it will be interesting to see how the big bad USA government responds.  If “We the People” revolt, will they side with the Plutocrats who’ve purchase all this power and influence in our halls of congress and turn the Armed Forces, National Guard, Police, etc. against the populous, or will they side with “We the People,” we commoners who have played by their rules that led to our downfall?

    • Ewil99

      @matforce And you think that the government, which has run every program it ever touched into debt, is the answer.

      • RightStuff

        @Ewil99  @matforce matforce is a poop-smooching leftist, and he can’t be helped.

    • LeeRiffee

      @matforce I am no fan of insurance companies either, and I do believe they do some rotten things.  However, if you are suggesting single payer gov’t run insurance as a replacement then be careful what you wish for because it is like going from the frying pan straight into the fire, especially for the elderly.  Currently anyone here in this country who is on Medicare and who needs a hip replacement will get the operation within a short period of time.  Yet someone in the UK or Canada will wait months or even years for the same operation.  Worse yet, some elderly people in such countries are denied care all together and face the choice of an early grave or paying for treatment out of pocket if they can.
      Free market competition, and not single payer, is the answer to the insurance dilemma.

    • BenCats1

      @matforce I guess all Doctors are on the right, funny I have not heard one person in the medical field say anything positive about Obamascare!

    • guest18

      @matforce , you are very obviously a troll, so choose to ignore your false, unproven claims of reasonable healthcare premiums under Obamacare. Go back to your koolaid and let the adults continue to comment.

    • MYS77

      You are an idiot. The numbers don’t add up, the costs don’t go down, the availbitity of healthcare diminshes, and the government continues to intrude and take over your very exiistence. You are already a slave…. the rest of us don’t want to surrender our freedom. If you want to be a number, an economic slave… just endorse your monthly checks over to the government and wait for the crumbs. Grow up and be responsible… and I got news for you, everyone is going to get sick and die, and no amount of Obamacare is going to prevent it or stop…. but they sure as hell are going to profit from it. People like you make me sick… sick because of your stupidity, sick because of your careless tossing away of your freedom. May you be the first to be hit with the cost and the ramifications of it… and be the first to admit this is a costly mistake. You and Obama can shove it, and shove it hard.

      • rosscoo

        @MYS77 … very, very, very well said

    • Kissitgoodbye

      @matforce
       Do you give a damn about quality of care or availablity of care? Do you care about YOUR business becoming the business of YOUR government? Do you like the idea of YOUR government making ALL YOUR healthcare decisions? Do you care about YOUR rights at all?   While you seem more than willing to relinquish ALL of YOUR rights.  Iam NOTwilling to relinquish MINE. If that’s want you want, Move to Canada. Ask them about how wonderful THEIR system is. Know where they come when they can’t access their OWN system?  They come HERE.  Now I understand under Socialism there is no MINE, only OURS.  And you got that straight, we don’t like Socialism.

    • MarilynMartina

      @matforce matforce, I’m on Obamacare in California.  They instituted it a year ago.

      There’s NOTHING free or inexpensive about it.  I pay $447 per month.  I pay high co-pays.  My prescriptions are barely or not paid for.  I have a $1,500 deductible per year.

      I was at the pharmacy.  They don’t know it’s Obamacare because it’s called First Health Network.  The pharmacist told me my prescription was $18.  Since this is new insurance to me I sometimes forget I have it.  Then I told him, “Oh, I’m insured.”  I gave him the insurance card.  He told me that I’m better off paying the cash because with my insurance co-pay would be $22.  I said, “But this is Obamacare.  I thought it’s supposed to help people out.”  I turned to everyone waiting telling them, “So this Obamacare is supposed to be helping the middle income guy.  It’s not.”   The pharmacist person was flustered.  He didn’t know what to say.

      When I called to get this Obamacare from Sacramento, they just based the number per month I would pay on my age.  They didn’t ask my income.  I actually would be MORE okay with this if the premium was income based, but it’s not.

      I don’t see where Obamacare is going to help out any middle income people.  This $447 per month does not cover dental or vision.  I happen to be able to afford this, so it is working out for me in case I get a heart attack or something major.  But a family of four at my age group is like a grand.

      Obamacare is NOT what they’ve been saying it is.  It’s a sham perpetrated on the taxpayer.   And we’re all going to see how the government has taken us all for a ride with Obama at the lead.  It’s a dang shame.

         Income based insurance cost?  Oh, I see now, you think people who work harder and smarter than you work should have to subsidize your health costs.  FY

           Based on the vitriol in some of these relies, I’m sure you guys like it much better when this site remains an echo chamber devoid of opposing views.  Here is an exerpt from another perspective:
          It is accurately named: Affordable Health Insurance. It stops insurance companies from discriminating against people for preexisting conditions, allows college students to remain covered on their parents insurance policies while they attend college, and requires people who refuse to buy health care insurance to pay their fair share, instead of those of us who actually pay for health insurance footing the bill for their refusal to pay. In other words it curtails those who choose to just get a free ride at everyone else’s expense. There are other provisions that are only beneficial to the people.
          The insurance companies have not weighed in on this bill, or tried to get involved in its over turn by the GOP, because they are the biggest winners in the long run. People with insurance will remain insured, and those mandated to pay will only benefit the insurance companies. They would have been foolish to fight this bill. And we all know that congress always finds loopholes to pacify the corporations including the insurance agencies.

          Speaking for myself, I have an excellent insurance plan through my employer for which I pay my contribution, so I will not be personally affected by ACA.
           My concern is for those in our naiton who’ve seen their jobs offshored or had their income stagnate, or lowered, thanks to downward pressure on our wages exerted from the “global economy” aka. sweatshops in 3rd world nations. To me the Great Sellout of the middle class began when Corporate America figured out how to legitimize kicking the high wage USA worker to the curb for a larger profit margin off shore and reintroduce this cheap shyt back onto our shores, tariff free to soak the naton and fleece the declining middle class.  Then some of you would shamelsessly blame the victim, throwing these hard working, but displaced workers togeter with the “freeloaders” or “moochers” as some of you call them (yse, you and I know they exist).  The game changed when jobs began to be offshored. See the fate of Bill S3816; what it contained and how they voted; speaks volumes.

          @matforce  @Whackajig  @MarilynMartina
           Mattie darling………… insurance companies view “pre-exisiting conditions” in the same light as if you sought auto insurance AFTER you had a serious accident.  Insurance companies cannot just add clients who will cost them more unless they charge others mone money.

          You villanize companies for wanting to make maximum profits.  You must be too stupid to realize that companies are not formed to benefit the workers.  Companies exist ONLY TO MAKE MONEY for the owners.  The absolute biggest boon to business would be to be able to eliminate the employees entirely.  Employees are a necessary evil and the business man will treat them as well as they treat the business.  When the employees demand things they are not due, the owners get new employees either here or they find people in other nations who will work for what they are worth.  You MUST bear in mind that it is not the worker who decides how much the job is worth, it is the owners of the business who make that decision.  If you disagree with my assessment, open your own business and pay the employees as much as you like.

        • matforce

          @Whackajig  @MarilynMartina
          Your view of the working man, is very short sighted. You would probably deny that labor has a large hand in the production of a product, but a skilled workforce (tool and die, weld, metal fab., mach. set up, millwright,, animated (computerized) machine operators, tradesmen, etc.) and their decent wages are what made the USA the largest consumer market the world has ever seen.  Disposable income in the hands of the masses is what SUPPLY, on the supply and demand (economics 101) is all about.  We have been heeding to the corporations’ wishes for 30 years, and now that the money that has flowed uphill over that entire time is running out (Corporations are sitting on $5 TRILLION in cash) we trun on each other; dog eat dog.

          The great wage disparity that has occurred over the past 30 years has consolidated wealth at the top like we haven’t seen since the days of the Robber Barons a century ago. Maybe you think that there’s something wrong with a USA that promoted all of its citizens’ prosperity, but I don’t; it’s smart business. A middle class with disposable income will bolster retail sales and crank up the economy (this is if this increase actually boosts production in the USA and results in paychecks going into the pockets of USA workers like it used to do before the middle class was kicked to the curb for sweatshop labor on foreign soil.)

          Even so, during the past 30 years real output in the business sector grew by 140%. Real compensation per hour (includes wages, benefits, pensions, and health insurance) increased by only 38% for the middle class worker. Post WWII, 1947-1979 America shared equally in the increase in output. During those years the increase that the bottom 20% received was 116%, the top 20% got an increase of 99%, and the middle quintiles increased somewhere within that range.

          Then the world flipped! From 1980 to 2007 the rich took practically all the increase in income. Over those decades, the poor received only a 15% increase and the middle three quintiles got a 25% increase, while the top 20% got a 95% increase and the top 1% received a raise of close to 300%, and they were compensated fabulously before this trend began (Paul Heise, PhD, Economics).

           In my first paragraph above, I meant to say:
          “Disposable income in the hands of the masses is what “DEMAND” is about when it comes to the economics 101 principle of SUPPLY and DEMAND.”

          We’ve seen what 30 years of favor for SUPPLY side economics (trickle down) has wroght

          I think  she meant “WROUGHT”, but at any rate the last thirty years has created great wealth and prosperity for those who choose to work rather than be pure parasites on the fruits of other people’s labor.

           I grew up in America the Beautiful, land of opportunity, during the BOOM years of the Eisenhower & Kennedy era.  Coming out of WWII ouir leaders passed Bills that promoted the prosperity of the middle class thoughout our industrialized society so that anyone who wanted work could find it.  I have seen proud men in the construction trades build their life around the hard work of their hands and backs brought low because of this current trend you would glorify with your sweeping simplistic axiom.
          Our natiohn was created as a democratic representative republic, granting its members the rights of property ownership in a free market.  It was never intended for the USA to become a Plutocracy, where BIG $$$ calls the shots and controls the legislature with their money and power to influennce the writing of laws that benefit only the top, to the detriment of the masses, but that is exactly what we’ve become.  You must be either a CEO, or one of the hoodwinked masses who believes everything you hear on Fox News, joining in full-throated approval for the crafting of your own demise.

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce  @Whackajig Matforce, I grew up in a very, very low income home with five kids.  Parents who were poor and uneducated.  I educated myself, helped my youngest sister get educated, the other three in between worked hard labor jobs but were always productive.

          We all worked our way up because we could, because this is America.

          None of us are CEOs.  None of us are wealthy.  But because of the great last 40 years in America we were able to rise out of poverty to middle class.

          For you to believe that Obamacare is anything but a huge Socialist federal government power grab, you are one of the “hoodwinked masses who believes everything you hear on MSNBC or NPR, joining in a full-throated approval for the crafting of your own demise.”

          @MarilynMartina  @Whackajig
           Touche`, Marilyn.  I applaud your work eithic and vision that led to your “making it” in America the Beautiful, land of opportunity.  I too, come from the lower middle class and worked fwo jobs (moonlighting) most of my life to get by.  My comment that you responded to was not meant for you, but for Whackjob, and his blanket, simplistic “parasite” statement.  My friends that I have worked with in manufacturing who’ve been displaced (layed off) while in their late 40s and 50s, and construction workers who’ve been laid off, have seen their lives torn to pieces by this Plutocratic 30 year trend, so his trite comments about how these men, some of whom have had the rug pulled out from under them (troubled mortgages, troubled marriages, scrounging for sufficient work in th twilight of their lives, on the verge of losing all they’ve worked for), strikes me as a tad insensitive.  These are proud men who have taken whatever jobs they could find, want to work, and the term “parasite” is so far off the mark it’s infuriating.  Big mouth talking about men that way. Shame!  Let’s hope this type of calamity doesn’t strike you or your firends or family!

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce  @Whackajig Matforce, my family, like most families in the world have seen our share of “calamity.”  It’s life.  But none of us ever felt that it was the government’s responsibility to fix things for us. I have just as many sad stories to tell that you did in your post.  I’m not going to bore you with them.

          I would say one of the MOST positive things we all learned in coming up in such poverty was that there’s no free lunch.

          I understand the plight of the people you’re talking about.  It’s terrible when hard times hit people.  I hate when it happens to me or anyone in my family.  But wherever did we become a society that the government is supposed to fix this stuff?

          That’s the ugly part and the disservice that the Democrats/Liberals/ Socialists has done to America.  They have done this so you, Matforce, and your friends who have hit hard times want to depend on them.  And while they (the politicians, whether Dem or Rep) they get fat and happy with power because people like you want your problems to be fixed by the government they throw the masses, us, a bone here and there so they keep getting re-elected.

          The government, no one, owes us anything in this life to make it better.  It’s up to us.  The only thing the government should be doing is protecting us from outside enemy forces and a few other SMALL things.  The government has no business being your nanny, Matforce, your friends’ nanny or my nanny.  It’s impossible to be the nanny of 320 million people and properly serve them.  That’s a no-brainer…..except to MSNBC and NPR listeners.

        • matforce

          @MarilynMartina  @Whackajig
          Your heart-felt compassion is making me misty, Marilyn.  My point is that for 30 years, the middle class has been the recipient of one economic blow after the other from a tax code that favors the top (see marginal rates beror 1980, then look into “Top Ten Ways the Wealthy Avoid Taxation), to NAFTA and job displacement (see Bill S3816; speaks volumes), to deregulation of our Banks, to unfunded Wars, to downward pressure on wages, to high unemployment for working Americans, I could go on, and all you can trot out there is: cut ‘em off, nobody needs government help. Even during the BOOM years (after the Eisenhower & Kennedy terms) when the nation’s wealthy were taxed at 90%, there were those who needed help.  But after 30 years of reckless spending and policies that have wrecked a thriving middle class, all you can come up with is; “starve the beast” and you zero in on those who’ve been victimized, and say nothing about this growing Plutocracy that has consolidated the USA’s wealth at the top, and would wring it out of every corner of American life until we are just another Banana Republic.  I could accept your views, if you showed the least acknowledgement of the plight we are in, or some balance, but all you seen capable of is regurgitating the well-worn talking points of Hannity, and Bill O’Reilly, et.al.

          Like I said, I grew up lower middle class, worked all my life, was never GIVEN or handed anything (unless you consider taking advantage of mortgage interest payments and college loan tax credits written in the tax code as being given something), paid for my own education (got State and Federal Loans which I paid back, but I guess you would consider this benevolence a “hand-out,” too), worked my way into a decent paying position, and thank God I’ve never needed any help, so don’t assume that the big bad Govt. is my nanny.  However, unlike you, I do believe that in the wake of 30 years of a growing Plutocracy, our hard working citizens who’ve been kicked to the curb to suit the greed of those who influence policy in our legislature, namely BIG $$$ and their well heeled lobbyists, etc., we need some kind of intervention until WE THE PEOPLE, wake from our slumbers, take off the blinders, or see through the propaganda (the use of practiced cries of outrage and panic, the use of all the divisive issues like gun rights, reproductive rights, race, socio-economics, demographics, party ideologue, etc.) that appeals to our worst instincts of fear, hate, anger, etc. so we can address what truly ails us.  I could go on with other examples of how Plutocracy’s grip on our nation has changed everything for the USA middle class, the largest consumer market and revenue producer in the history of the world, but I’d be wasting my time, because you seem incapable of seeing for yourself that there is more to this than just the government assistance programs you villainize.

          You keep operating your life believing that the government is here to fix your problems and I’ll keep pushing against the government getting bigger and pretending to fix our problems.

          The smaller government is, the better off we are.  That’s why “WE THE PEOPLE” is in the constitution.  The constitution is the document that tells us how to push back if the government gets too big, and that’s exactly what I”m going to do and many more of us.

          Your quote of “We, the People” is from the U.S. Constitution, which tells us how “We, the People” rise up should the government get too big, which is exactly what you’re promoting and what President Obama is promoting.

          You keep trying to push your Socialist agenda with the rest of the Lefties, Obama included, and I will keep pushing back by voting Independent, Libetarian, Republican, anything but Socialist/Democrat/Liberal and working towards the Keep America Away From Socialists agenda.  I will fight your agenda every step of the way, Matforce, and majority of Americans will be doing the same.

          It is obvious that you do not know me, and I’m certain that you have not invested any time in reading my assertions let alone looking them up so we could debate the issues.  The fact that I distrust the this 30 year Plutocratic direction (do you know what the word means?) our country has taken, should not be construed as a love for socialism.  I am merely making an observation that our nation’s elite from the realm of our Insurance Industries, the Financial sector from Investment Banks to Wall Street Brokerages, our “multinational” corporations like GE, BIG Oil, Apple, etc., cannot be trusted to be looking out for what’s best for the USA and its populous, and the GOP is little more than their cheering section, bought and paid for with their BIG $$$.

          As long as BIG $$$ is calling the shots in our legislature (Super PACs, Corporations are people, my friend, Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, S. Korea, Panama & Columbia FTA, S.E. Asia FTA, ALEC) have all given BIG money a monopoly, no it’s actually more like a strangle hold on the USA I grew up in.  In that our Government has been complicit with the betrayal of the middle class makes me angry at both parties, but especially the GOP who sides with BIG $$$ at every turn.

          That I think ACA is a viable alternative to private Insurance Companies’ bloated salaries for their CEOs, executive teams, and brokers, that have driven up costs beyond what the commoner can afford, and that there also needs to be measures put in place to curtail the out of control expenses of the medical industry, and that I have an affinity for my fellow middle class workers who’ve been displaced by the machinations of BIG $$$ does NOT make me a socialist.

        • MarilynMartina

          You can keep all your pretention.  I’m not buying it and majority of Americans aren’t buying it.  We’ll be fighting you Socialists to the bitter end.

        • matforce

          @MarilynMartina  @Whackajig
           Wow, I’m speechless…

      • MarilynMartina

        @matforce I’m going to reply to myself and say to Whackamajig that, no, I don’t want anyone paying anything for me.  I got on this insurance because I was uninsured and I wanted to see what it was like.

        The fact that I’m paying $5,000 a year for my insurance and that it’s not great insurance makes me know that I’m not being a slug.

        My point is that most people like Matforce think that this Obamacare meant free healthcare or inexpensive healthcare.  It’s not free or inexpensive, so it doesn’t help out the middle class.  You will have just as many people uninsured because they’re not going to pay the $447 or whatever their age payment is.

        Obamacare was sold to us as the cureall for the middle class.  It turns out there’s nothing free or inexpensive about it.  We were all sold a bill of goods.

        All Obamacare really is is to make the federal government more powerful in every respect.  It’s frightening.

        I hope EVERY Republican governor does everything they can not to institute it in their state.  I live in California which has all kinds of Democrat voodoo economics going on.  We have a super majority of Democrat legislators in California  Republicans are irrelevant.  And we are going bankrupt.

        The only good thing about having a super majority of Democrats in the California legislature is that they can’t blame California going broke on George Bush, the Republicans, earthquakes or anything else.  The Democrats are TOTALLY responsible for California going broke.  They can’t blame anyone else.  FINALLY, we can all see it’s ONLY the Democrats’ fault.

      • matforce

        @MarilynMartina
         Let me see if I have this right?
        You would have paid $18 for your prescription cash?  And with you ACA card you would have to pay $22 because it’s an insurance co-pay issue?  If I understand you correctly, had you checked out with a prescription bill of say, $222.00, you would have had to pay only the $22.00 copay to receive your prescription?  Is that correct?

        I’m not sure I understand what you mean in your 4th paragraph when you say “Obamacare” is based on some number, based on your age.  I thought ACA was calculated on  2.5% of your gross adjusted income if you didn’t have health insurance, or if your employer didn’t provide you with a plan…  Are you saying that this is incorrect?  Because if it is, you can rest assured, I will be doing further research…

        Also, from what I could gather, children are covered for dental, and vision care is a grey area because ACA covers “medical conditions” for the uninsured, but is not intended to furnish citizens with superfluous (e.g. designer) vision care.  Also, there seems to be some unclarity about what a “medical” condition is, when it comes to ACA.  I believe, without further review, or getting into legalese, ACA was meant to cover the basic necessities in the area of dental and vision, so that a brush with a serious condition wouldn’t send the avg. American into the poor house of losing everything they own.

        After re-reading your post, Marilyn, I could be wrong, but you begin to sound an aweful lot like someone who expects ACA to pick up the bill for every cent and put it on the public tab, instead of its true intent of keeping uninsured people from losing everything they have if they’re sick and don’t have insurance, or settling for the way it is now; menaing if you lose everything you own due to sickness, medicare picks up the tab…

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce Matt, as far as the presciption price, no, if it was $220, I would have had to pay much more as a co-pay, which I don’t know what that cost would be.  It’s not that I have a $22.00 co-pay on any prescription.  My co-pay on prescriptions is different according to each prescription.

          When I applied for Obamacare, the ONLY thing they cared about was my age, and that’s what my premium of $447 a month pertained to and that it was only me.   If there were more people in my family placed on the policy, the premium would have been higher.

          You are incorrect that ACA is based on 2.5 percent of gross adjusted income.  They never asked what my income was.  They didn’t know they and they don’t know now.  I’ve been on it for two years and no one has asked my income.

          Dental and vision is not covered on ACA for me or any children.

          Mattforce, you are wrong.  I’m not expecting anyone to pick up anything for me.  I believe in we all pay our own way and the government shouldn’t be in the healthcare business at all.

          When I tell all my Liberal/Democrat friends, any anyone else for that matter, what I’m paying for Obamacare, they just about fall over because majority of the American people believe that Obamacare means that people were getting free or inexpensive healthcare.

          The Obama Administration knew the American people were wrongfully thinking that so that Obamacare could be pushed down our throats like it was.  The reality is Obamacare is not free or inexpensive.  It’s just as expensive as any other insurance policy.  So people that can’t afford a regular insurance policy will STILL be unable to afford Obamacare.

          This whole Obamacare has been a hoax on the American people.  And people like you, Mattforce, have bought it hook, line and sinker.

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce I left out that from my personal experience with Obamacare, I know that all Obamacare was done for was so that the federal government had more control of our lives.

           Marilyn, you are either mistaken or you purposely post information that confirms your bias.  Here are two articles, one from an official cite, and another from a cite that supported Romney that refute your claims about Dental coverage (don’t just read the title of the Romney piece, it contradicts the article.

          ACA in its entirity will not be implemented until 2014.

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce Matforce, Obamacare does not cover dental or vision.

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce Even so, Matforce.  Even if Obamacare did cover dental, that is not the point.  If someone can afford the $447 that Obamacare is costing me per month, they can afford regular insurance.

          The point is we’ve been sold a bill of goods with Obamacare.  It’s not free and it’s not inexpensive.  The same middle class working poor can still not afford Obamacare.

          With that being the case, then why was Obamacare even shoved upon us Americans?  It was shoved upon us so that the Federal government gets bigger and bigger and intrudes more on our lives.   And they sold Obamacare to people like you so you’d think that somehow the middle class was going to be helped, and you both it.  It’s just another Obama administration facade that the Left is buying into.

        • matforce

          @MarilynMartina
          I Never insinuated it would be FREE, but when you compare it to a private plan, it IS relatively inexpensive.  But no where near as expensive as a hospital bill that wipes out your savings and puts your home on a second mortgage, or liquidates it and all you own, altogether if you are uncovered.

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce
          Matforce, my private plan was $538 per month with 100 percent covered.  I had a $5 co-pay for triage.  Obamacare is much more expensive than my private plan was.

          You are ignoring the fact that Obamacare is STILL too expensive for those that can’t afford other insurance.  All Obamacare is a power grab so that federal government gets bigger.  You being the Socialist that you are this falls right in line with your agenda.  And me and majority of Americans are going to fight you Socialists in every way we can.

        • matforce

          @MarilynMartina  @matforce
           I would like to hear more about your claim that your $538/month private insurance plan with a $5.00 co-pay.  What insurance company was this purchased through?  What did you mean, triage? Triage is a term used in extreme cases of shortage of supply of medical aid, like those often experienced in a war zone, where field medics try to assess where to direct their efforts to get the most from a limited supply of medical resources…

          And didn’t you claim that you are on “ObamaCare” and that it costs you $447/month with a $1,500 deductible?

        • MarilynMartina

          @matforce
          I had Kaiser Permenente, which is fabulous.  It’s an HMO.  All great facilities throughout California.  By “triage” I meant that is what they call it where you go for their clinic.  The definition you gave of triage is not the only definition.  But that is irrelevant.

          Yes, I’m just finding out now that I have a $1,500 deductible through Obamacare for larger type things.  I needed to go to the sleep center last week, and that’s when I heard about the $1,500.  I didn’t know about it before.

          It’s like Pelosi said, “You had to pass it to find out what Obamacare is.”  They didn’t even know.  And how knows now with this.  Maybe they’re changing things all the time.  See, that’s what the Federal Government can do.  Socialists love that stuff.

          I’ll be finding out here fairly quickly what that $1,500 means when I get the bill for the sleep center.

          Matforce, all this little detail is interesting.  But the fact remains and the one you’re not addressing is that Obamacare is STILL too expensive for the middle class working poor.  So Obamacare hasn’t/isn’t going to help those that it said it would.  It’s helping me out, but I’m not middle class working poor.  I can afford this insurance just like I could private insurance.

          Mat, this will be my last post because when I get the email that you have responded to my post and I click “reply,” it doesn’t send me to the post.  It sends me back to the front page of this website and then I have to hunt through all the posts to get to these posts.  I don’d have that kind of time.

          So enjoy your big government lie — I mean life.  Just know that majority of Americans haven’t bought into it.  And I will be backing every politician who obstructs President Obama in his big government/Socialist agenda.

    • HoweJoseph

      The first thing that you have to understand is that we are a Capitolist structured society and to have successful health resources we cannot turn it into a spread the wealth program, because doctors and nurses do not go to school for years and years to become part of a charitable organization. The concept of health care for everyone is a great idea, but when it comes time to pay the bill on the backs of hardworking taxpayers then comes the problem because there is not enough money to sustain good healthcare when the govt creates a socialistic process for doing so. Many doctors are adapting to the Obamacare law by refusing to accept new medicare patients and many have already left the medical field. What the democrats passed when they all voted for passage of Obamacare was a govt run health care system that cannot sustain itself because the tax revenue needed would bankrupt the country then no one gets care. Medicaid is already forcing states to find funds they don’t have and they cannot get enough doctors to accept 16 dollars per patient to earn enough to pay the overhead. The wait to see a medicaid provider doctor is months and if you have an emergeny you can still go to a hospital emergency room for treatment and by law they have to treat you and then try to get their money. It won’t be long under Obamacare that nurses and physican assistants will be dispensing medical care because of a shortage of doctors who go to school for 8 to 12 years and open a practice to make a good living and pay back the huge loans gotten for school tuition and books. It won’t be long before only the rich can afford good healthcare dispensed by highly qualified doctors who will not accept medicare or insurance by companies that don’t pay an adequate fee for services rendered. Its not greediness, its business for people who risk their money and their lives to make a good living just like bankers, car dealers, large chain stores etc. Its Capitolism but it made our country the greatest nation on Gods green earth and anyone who will work hard to have a future can benefit from this way of life. There is a safety net for disabled people and the poor, but there is not nor was there ever a right for everyone to have healthcare if they have not contributed to the process that society uses to provide good healthcare. If health care is a right then what about food and clothing and rent money and travel expense etc. When people talk about all the wonderful things they should have, at some point there has to be a discussion about who pays the bill. I didn’t work for 50 years of my life to pay medical bills for someone that is too lazy or stupid to work for a living or worse an illegal. After working at some of the worst jobs in my life and always working with no vacations and no outside help it makes me sick to think I could have joined the welfare crowd and let others do the heavy liftng.

      • matforce

        @HoweJoseph
         I totally see what you’re saying, but I believe that after 30 years of redistributing our fabulous USA wealth to the top, to the four wiinds (like China, S.E. Asia, Mexico, etc) and to the IMF and World Bank, we need to incentivize the re-establishment of our middle class prosperity.  Plans including, but not limited to rethinking the way we subsidize the offshoring of jobs for our “multinational” corporations with tax write-offs, loopholes, etc., that actually reward corporations that offshore jobs.
        1. Rethink the tax code to reward corporations that keep jobs home and hire USA workers at a decent wage.
        2. We need greater employee ownership in companies.  If regular rank and file employees were also earning shares of the company and had a vested interest in its success, two things would happen, 1) the employees would get to have a vote on the board of directors, 2) the pay disparity between upper management and rank and file would shrink and US companies may become competitive once again.
        3. I’m no expert in the field of business and finance, but the hiring of executives to run our large corporations from the business and finance field hasn’t helped.  Years ago a young man/woman with work-ethic and some smarts could work their way up off the floor onto the management team.  From their, if they prove themselves, they could work their way onto the executive team and maybe into a position of CEO.  Now corporations hire from the ranks of business and finance; they know how to cook the books, shuffle money, and put up good numbers, but this often leads to businesses spinning off whole departments, offshoring, or liquidating assets to show short-term profits for the shareholders, but does nothing to solidiy the company and establish a solid foundation for our financial house of cards, that is becoming more and more dependent on the China derivatives, for example, that get an increasing supply of our national capital….

        • matforce

          @HoweJoseph
           I would add; take a look at requiring nations with atrocious human rights records and sweatshop work conditions to pay a tariff or VAT (value added tax; depending on how much of a product is manufactured/assembled inside and outside the USA) to level the playing field for the USA worker.  Germany does this (19% tariff on all imports except some ag and raw materials) without so much as a raised eyebrow from the WTO.
          Of course this would make our elite mad because that would cut into the profits they realize as these Maersks with payloads of 2.2 million train car sized “containers” roll up on our shores each day full of cheap foreign crap, made in sweatashops to by-pass the USA worker.

    Hey, So you are saying that I should flip the bill for someone that drink and smoke all there life and get sick?  It is usually these kind of people we will have to pay for.  The sit at home waiting for hand out kind.  This is a capitalistic country, that the only way we will grow; not giving and giving.  The debt is higher than it should be and you are talking nonsense.

    Not buying  what I just read and saw, not at all. Our country is going the wrong direction and ‘our so-called fearless leader’ is taking us there. That is all I have to say on this subject. We are going skiing in the morning, so bedtime is early, Good night, everyone and God bless

  • LarryChambers

    Answer me this one question and I won’t bother you good people anymore tonight. Is that cool?
    Cool. If we  here at home are losing our rights and freedom. And the U.S. is arming it’s enemies, who and what are our people in the military fighting for?  Does it not seem odd to fight for someone elses freedom yet you have none of your own?  And then there’s gun control and the kiddy letters of Sandy Hook. Why did O not mention Fast and Furious which resulted in the death of border patrol agent Terry? Why did he not tell the kids they broke U.S.laws, Mexican laws and international laws. And above all that they lied and continue to lie about it. Why was gun control not so important in the death of agent Terry? I wonder if those were assault weapons, ya think?

    Wholefoods may draw a largely libtard customer crowd, but apparently the owner understands all too well the grief that government regulations can bring on a business.  That’s why I think (and this will likely never happen as long as the morons are in charge of public schools) every high school student should be required to take some sort of class that would give a good idea of what it’s like to run and manage a business. Rather like in science where students get to see what’s inside of a frog in biology class, or have to prepare and give a speech in speech class.  Students would get to see what running a business could be like (perhaps a computer simulation) and then they could see how everything from energy costs to health insurance for workers to dealing with competitors (and of course, gov’t regulations)  would affect their profits and their ability to keep a company profitable.
    I remember when I was in college I used to get angry that my employer didn’t provide insurance and somehow wished that it would be legally required (if I could ever regret a wish, that would be on the top of my regret list!), but then once I got older and had trouble finding a job I decided to start my own business.  Well, that was a dose of reality that non-business owners never get to see.  Basically it comes down to this – I do care about those who work for me (right now I have a part-time assistant), but I also have to put food on my own table and make a profit, otherwise there’s no point in me having a business to begin with.  Most people have a gross lack of understanding of economics – that is the main problem here.

    I have been commenting for weeks, that I would like to see Obummer impeached!  Otherwise, he plans on being our President “forever”…in other words, our last President!  I have had several e-mails that state his plans are to become the “ruler” and our forever President, until he can turn America into a country of Islam!  I can’t prove these
    e-mails are correct, but they surely bother me!

    I am 80 years old, and I never thought I would see what is happening to our beloved America.  My uncle was killed in WWII and my husband served in the occupation forces in Japan…he walked across where the atomic bombs were dropped 8 days after they were dropped.  He had lung problems all of his life after that.

    Unfortunately, Obummer does not care about the armed forces that protected and still protect our country.  Once he becomes “our forever President”, we will not have any rights.  Remember Germany and France in WWII?

    I am saddened and concerned about the life my 2 daughters will live thru.  They are in their 50′s, but my only grandchild, who is a Bio-Chemist working in Ohio, is 26.  What does the future hold for him?

    We must continue to pray for deliverance from the evil ways of Obummer!  This is the end of my sermon!
    God Bless America and keep her strong!

      @bobmann101
       Idiot, the posters know very well that Impeachment is the beginning of the process.  Too bad you are not bright enough to see that.

      • bobmann101

        @Whackajig
        That is why I posted the link. Yes you are right It is the beginning of the process, but not the end of the process. As I stated Bill Clinton was impeached. You think for one minute the Senate would convict Obama. Do you really think Obama would be impeached?
        Obama hasthe money and power backing him so right now he is untouchable. As soon as his big money, string pulling, puppet masters are finished with him he will be somehow eliminated!
        I hope berating me made you feel better. It made me smile.

        • Whackajig

          @bobmann101
           Boobman, I did not berate you, I merely pointed out that you are an idiot.m  Well maybe not a COMPLETE idiot.  Perhaps I should have said that like many people, you know so much which is not true.    If you were really well informed about impeachment, you would know that there is something on the books called “Inherent Contempt of Congress”.  It is an impeachment process which does NOT involve the Senate at all.  The Senate does not have any authority to interfere with the House in the process.  Under Inherent Contempt the house handles everything from making the charge to the trial and  final convction ( if found) and imprisonment.  So you see that impeachment on this Inherent Contempt of Congress can be the whole ball of wax.  Many may ask if this is so, why has it not happened?  My guess is that our reps in the House all have one less nut than Lance Armstrong.

          Google “Inherent Contempt of Congress, Boobie, perhaps you might learn something which won’t make you smile.

    • Jo AnnC

      @bobmann101 I think the implied message is to do whatever necessary to kick Obama out of office!

  • ephill

    Guns to Mexico. Tanks and fighter jets to Egypt. Unlawfull no budget in 4 years. Ilegal executive privelige laws. Dems and panty waste repubs would never vote to impeach. Obama should not be impeached. He should be arrested, charged and convicted of treason.

       You left off the hanging or firing squad

  • Gary M

    @DrBillLemoine: what “drives” people to support Obama is the idea of big govt will take care of you, that and the promise of redistribution of wealth which is double talk for socialism. I don’t question that perhaps some people are too rich, but they got that way because in the grand scheme of things they were productive. But the idea that that wealth should simply be shared goes against all principles of capitalism, which judging by your comments you don’t approve of. That is how r country became what it is and capitalism is what keeps the engine of productivity running. You don’t like capitalism? Goes elsewhere.

    • Whackajig

      @Gary M
       Who are you God?  What makes you smart enough to decide that some wealthy folks are “too rich”?

      • Seymour Kleerly

        @Whackajig  @Gary M Ask Christ. That was his obsession.

    • JohnHart

      @Gary M The problem stems from a misconception about what wealth really is. This misconception has been exploited to fool people into thinking progressive income tax corrects the disparity of wealth when in fact it makes it worse. Wealth of any kind depends on “government” and wealth needs to pay “government” to maintain and protect it. The super wealthy elite who pull the strings of both parties (%99 of Democrats and %100 of RINOs) have engineered the system to maintain their power.

      The poor, in terms of time, work the most of any group paying taxes imbedded in the price of products and the super wealthy elite don’t have to labor a second their whole lives paying taxes. This disparity fuels the class warfare scam the left uses to justify the establishment of Socialism in America that is going to destroy US if we don’t reverse course and re-establish freedom.

      Freedom to purchase medicine with out government permission. Freedom to grow one capital and not have it confiscated by “Income tax”. Freedom to practice one’s art without having to get a government license.  Most everything government is doing that it shouldn’t it’s doing wrong and things it should be doing, like maintaining stable currency and protecting our borders it’s doing poorly.

    To Quote: “CEOs, and real businessmen, are demonized and regarded as evil, greedy people who have no interest beyond their own.” – why are you upset about that remark? – Except that not ALL CEO’s or businessmen are like that… BUT major corporations in the PHARMACEUTICAL Sales and RESEARCH sure fit that description! – Such as the ones who keep pushing the barrow that says CANCER is not curable – and push their TOXINS on us to “Cure” the disorder, while they are KNOWN NOW to have HIDDEN results from 30 years ago, which FOUND A CANCER SOLUTION which stopped it in it’s tracks, drying it up. (People are calling all victims and family of those who died for a class-action lawsuit)… We have been lied to by experts, while the Queen Of England, who released info to all people about APRICOT KERNELS which DISSOLVED CANCER CELLS (and ONLY cancer cells) without side-effects other than feeling far better. THE TREATMENT WAS TESTED BY THE MEDICAL RESEARCH FACILITIES AT THE REQUEST OF HRH AND PROVEN EFFECTIVE AND TOTALLY SAFE!  IN LIGHT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, those evil mongrels at the MNPC’s rubbished everything that effectively stopped cancer – because of the possible LOSS of dirty profits extracted from the very suffering and deaths of the patients who were convinced by doctors and surgeons (who were also DUPED by their salesmen) would reach into the $Trillions! Government HEALTH Departments and Health Insurance Companies are also VICTIMS of that bunch of utter devastating self-interested bulldust used to make people believe that God was WRONG, and the MURDERS WERE RIGHT…(and costing them $100′s of BILLIONS) … that to poison a person to fix a disorder, was better than what God told us to use: Herbs! ….

      Thank you! And, have you noticed how very difficult it is to find apricots anymore in the markets? All since this little known fact was made public over the internet. The media sure isn’t going to report it. They get TOO much money from the ads they run on TV telling patients to ask their doctors if “xyz” medication is for them while posting disclaimers about possible incredible side effects including DEATH to protect their butts from lawsuits. Of course this is with the FDA’s approval – another covert agency in the grand scheme.

    • Whackajig

      • Whackajig

        @Seymour Kleerly  @SteveErtzberger
         Klintoon’s impeachment worked absolutely perfectly for the right.  The House of Reps, controlled by the right, charged the letch with comtempt of Congress and they did impeach him.  The liberliar Senate, dummycrap controlled. let him off the hook, but he was disbarred.  Think about disbarrment……………… a group of lawyers, the slimest snakes in the pit decide Klintoon is no longer fit to be an attorney.  Wow.  No matter his popularity with the “takers”, he will always be the scumbag impeached president.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @SteveErtzberger The Rabid Right will be tarred with that witch hunt far worse that Clinton. They lost seats in the midterms when they typically should have gained. America’s focus was diverted from real problems (terrorism, Bin Laden, etc) and turned to a high school bathroom conversation. Although Clinton was a slimeball, he was a great president (60% approval) and one of the most respected politicians on the planet!

        • SJvet

          @Seymour Kleerly  @Whackajig  @SteveErtzberger You don’t know clinton like I know clinton, after living in Arkansas from ’90 to ’94.  He is and always has been, a communist, courted by the Russians, he demonstrated against the U.S. while on foreign soil, was invited to Moscow several times, dodged the draft, and was asked to resign from Oxford due to a rape allegation.  Yep, he’s a great guy, if you like scumbag communist criminals.  One of the most respected politicians on the planet?  That simply reflects the ignorance of the majority of the population.

        • downenray

          @SJvet  The comment about Clinton NOW being respected is not to say that he always has been. It speaks to present considerations rather than the past, I believe.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @downenray  @SJvet Unfortuneately most Politicians on this planet are philanderers and were basically immune. Clinton has always been respected for his abilities and most of all his ability to absorb unprecedented, excessive/compulsive attacks from the Right.

        • SJvet

          @Seymour Kleerly  @Whackajig  @SteveErtzberger Seymour, I don’t need to provide proof.  You have internet access, so look it up.  It’s readily available and I have nothing I have to prove to you.  I thought clinton was the worst liar on the planet (he’s pretty bad and was impeached for perjury) but he has nothing on obama

    Impeachment!  Definitely!   Obama is a Socialist and has no business in this Country let alone sit as President.  He has no other goal than to destroy all that has made America great and allowed traitors like him to ‘succeed in life.  Talk about a Benedict Arnold or the dog that bites the hand that feeds it.

    Odumbo was born in Kenya.  He is ineligible to hold the office of president.  He shames the position and is an embarrassment to this once great nation.  He MUST be impeached, removed from office and all his illegal legislation automatically voided.  Otherwise he will continue his racist war on the white population and eventually destroy our economy, culture and social system.  BTW, he is already beginning his campaign to circumvent the 22nd Amendment so he can become “President for Life”.

    This article, while informative, degrades itself by using “who’s”  when it need to say “whose”  and using “it’s” when it means “its.”  Many bloggers couldn’t be bothered to use correct English, but those who WRITE the articles should make the effort to edit their work.  Of course, they can’t use something if they never learned it, which is why editors exist.

    • jimmylu

      @cactusbob I pasted it into my 07 word perfect and it found the WHOSE / who’s  error and underlined it. Being Dyslectic I count on the computer to catch my errors. Though some times it has no idea what I am trying to say. Wounder which system he uses when writing articles?

    • JohnHart

      @cactusbob Degrades it’s self??? Tom’s bat implies ownership but Who’s corporation doesn’t because the abbreviation for who is has priority. The person whose made the big mistake is you. Checked  the it’s and you’ll see they all mean it is. Now don’t you feel stupit?

      • cactusbob

        @JohnHart Are you for real?  Both instances in the article are possessive in intent but use the wrong word or apostrophe to express it.  Your post supports my stated positions.  I feel just fine.

        • JohnHart

          @cactusbob  @JohnHart I missed the forth one, lines 10,11 (it is not) and line 13 (it is one) are OK.  line 18 (is … depends) has two verbs. It’s easy to miss its significance and if one doesn’t use a grammar checker it’s easy to miss. I don’t have a problem with pointing out simple errors, but  “degrades itself” is a bit over the top don’t you think?

        • JohnHart

          @cactusbob Government —————– in medicine is what I wouldd like to see discussed in the thread and the grammar errors have nothing to do with what was written. Free markets are the best way, and perhaps the only way to solve problems like health care. Command and control political solutions rapidly degrade into ———- and the ——————– who rise to the top make decisions that lead to space shuttle disasters, the New Orleans —— flood, Fu———-a and the Gulf Oil spill.

          @cactusbob Government malfeasance in medicine is what I’d like to see discussed in the thread and the grammar errors have nothing to do with what was written. Free markets are the best way, and perhaps the only way to solve problems like health care. • SJvet

        @JohnHart  @cactusbob You mean the person “who’s made the big “mistake.  What many people can’t seem to grasp is that possessive pronouns do not have apostrophes.  Examples of possessive pronouns are “whose,” “your”, “their,” “its,” etc.  The other forms are contractions for “it is,” “who is,” “you are” and “they are.”  In some cases, the past tense can be used, as in using “it’s” for “it has.”

        • JohnHart

          @SJvet  @cactusbob Censorship test3.
          To fix health care, free markets must be restored, but sick people can’t “shop around” so the market needs to center around doctors. It’s easy to see why health care costs have gone up five times since the 50′s. Instead of letting doctors keep what they made and encourage them to invest it in their practice, their income was confiscated by high taxes while corporations were given credit for establishing Health Maintenance  Collectives.  Obama care solidifies the graft and corruption of the collectives into into a fascist wet dream. No competition, government sets prices and determines the care people get.

    Two typos does not lessen the impact of the article. I’ve repeated the same message to people since Hilliary tried to shove her version up our butts when Bill was receiving head in the Oval Office: Take away the profit motive from doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, etc., and our current healthcare system will collapse. Obamacare has had a negative impact on the economy before it was rammed through both the House and Senate.
    It was a NPR interview and I hope it pissed liberals off. That CEO won’t be invited back!

    • Bull57

      @Dintym I agree with your profit statement. The problem with Obama is he never had a real job where profit is the motivation. I never had a job where performance was not based on some sort of monetary review/expectation! What’s that old saying, “I work to live not live to work”.

  • buzzard

    I think that should be “advice”.

  • ephill

    We live in a jealous society that seems to think that people who have more than we do should be punished and forced to share. I personally was never willing to put in the hard work or do the butt kissing required to become a CEO, so I do not begrudge the fact they have more money than I do. I was willing to work hard enough to get my high school diploma and work hard enough to maintain middle class jobs for the last 40 years. I do not object to helping someone who has fallen on hard times temporarily. What I object to is the lazy a** who thinks I should pay their way. What I do object to are the liberal politicians who take more and more from the working class citizens to perpetuate the entitlement of generations of those who realize they can make more on handouts from the government (i.e. taxpayers) than they can by working. What I do not tolerate are those who do not understand that free health care, free food stamps, etc., etc., etc., have to be paid for by someone.  What I do not tolerate are those who do not realize that taxing the rich 100% would not pay for all the libs programs. What I do not tolerate are those who do not understand that America going deeper in debt will destroy this country. What we all should not tolerate is a president who does not care and seems bent on the destruction of this of this once great nation. Conservatives are generous with their money and liberals are generous with other people’s money. For those of you who despise the wealthy, how do you think Obama ever got into political office much less became president? A do nothing senator from Illinois. It was big money from big spenders, certainly not donations from the non-working class.

  • bigblue86

    Attack on the Bill of Rights, in your face! Freedom of Religion, the right to bear arms are all under attack. Freedom of the Press has long ago been abridged by a complicit mass media. Health is at the very core of the right to life and our freedom to pursue that goal has been severely compromised by this president’s agenda.

    • jsbrodhead

      @bigblue86 Progressives (Marxists) in control of DC and State governments, have been far worse for my health than I could have believed.  The continuous drain on energy and elevated stress levels caused by their crap, is in direct violation of the purpose of the Constitution, as stated in the Preamble.

    If Obamacare is such a great program, why doesn’t  Congress have it in their benefits package. In addition, it is projected that we will lose 250,000 doctors within the next couple of years. Why are they leaving their profession and who will replace them perhaps from third world countries like Pakistan, Iran. I can’t wait for the arrival of Jihad medicine. Canada warned us but our brilliant leaders wouldn’t listen! I forgot that we hate doctors because they are rich achievers. I thought we liked to celebrate & reward achievement, not envy & destroy it !!!

    • cactusbob

      @bigblue86  Congress doesn’t have it, because it’s a lousy health package.  But the additional revenue and taxes from O’Care will produce lots of revenue from the middle class, to PAY FOR their wonderful health benefits.  Like the Cornhusker Kickback and the Louisiana Purchase, that provides the bribes so Congress isn’t all that upset, since they’re well-provided for.

      • Whackajig

       Because it’ a hybrid between private health insurance companies and a big bad government program payed for from the general fount.  But it is the best that could be hoped for, being that there are some inherent restraints imposed on BIG insurance and the BIG $$$ investors, as well as the GOP that’s beholden to them, who have done everything they could to twart its passage.

    Some of my ancestors were slaves, none of Mr Obama’s were.   His father was a Marxist and his mother was a socialist and he is running a country based on the Free Market System, a system in which he does not believe.  He is supported by the International Bankers through Geo Soros and others and enjoys the support of the Black Community due to the sufferings of a people to whom he is not related.  The goal of the Bankers who have over 50 times the wealth of the entire American economy is absolute control though the implication of a  totalitarian socialistic world wide governance, a real life Big Brother system.   The current program is to disarm America.  In the past century 56 million people were disarmed by the banking backed governments and then exterminated.  Read my book available on amazon called PARASITE!  or read some thing else but get yourself educated or this Beast will eat us all alive!

    • LarryChambers

      @jimmyraschel Thank you Jimmy, I’ll read your book. I saw something that parallels what you said about those bankers, O  and Soros. The amount of money was staggering. Our national debt is chump change compared to theirs. The article has something to do with the muders of the owner of a net work stations kids. in fact, I still have it. These are some nasty people. But you are a breath of fresh air for me. I have been verbaly abused both on and off several sites. I live in a predominatly Black neigborhood so any indifference in conversation regarding O can easily set off WW 111. And I totaly agree with you as I have repeatedly said I do not believe he is of the Black race. And I do not believe his mother was White. Whatever he is he is not an American.

      • Kissitgoodbye

        @LarryChambers @jimmyraschel / It’s refreshing that despite pressure, you are looking at the issues instead of skin color. He has been using that and getting away with things that ordinarily would not be tolerated. I think he was picked for that very reason; to advance this agenda.

        • Whackajig

          @Kissitgoodbye  @LarryChambers  @jimmyraschel
           Whites in general do not hate the blacks, but the blacks almost universally hate the whites.  I have no use for the scumbag blacks who inhabit the slums and ghettos of America.  I do not despise their skin color.  It is their lifestyle which dismays me.  Indicdentally, “N’s” come in all flavors, white, black, red, yellow, brown.

      • http://jimmylongshot.net jimmyraschel

        @LarryChambers Hey Larry, Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your remarks.  Growing up in a Black Community, I realize the lockstep mentality born from generations of having to protect one another at all costs, although understandable given Black  history which is vastly different from White American history, there comes a time when we have to, as we both know, put race aside because the issues facing us have little to do with what our parents and ancestors endured.  Americans are better defined by the principles of our Founding Fathers than the colors of  our grandparents.  American is a way of thinking that embraces the truth that  you can make your own way given a fair chance.  That’s what Mr Obama doesn’t appreciate.  We didn’t go through Civil Rights to get food stamps. We wanted a level playing field and that is the job of the Government.  Make fair rules and get the hell out of the way so the people can make the wealth we all need for survival.  Most of White America can’t fathom what Mr O stands for and most of Black America can’t see him for  what he’s doing that is undermining the country which is the last stronghold of individual freedom.   He comes to office on the backs of people he is sending to the economic plantation.  When all you get is free, everything around will be free but you.  Peace, my friend, you are not alone, be well and stay strong.  Jimmy

        • MarilynMartina

          @jimmyraschel  @LarryChambers Jimmy, thank you so much for your words.

          I am a white American who is not racist.  I’ve been watching for years with horror black America go from bad to worse when it should be the other way around thanks to many great black ancestors who pushed and fought successfully from what used to be that part of America.

          I know this racism going backwards is because of our leaders.  It’s really advantageous for them to have us unnecessarily divisive.

          I love watching Sunday morning black church and listening to the reverends/ministers talking about taking responsibility, etc., all contrary to what Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson preach.  I appreciate those men.

          Listening to you gives me faith that we really ALL do understand each other and we really ALL are on the same wavelength even though white and black America have different backgrounds.  It’s the leaders that want the racism and the division between the two races to persist even though we’re now living in the same America, not like our ancestors were.

          Jimmy, thank you so much for your words.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @jimmyraschel @LarryChambers / Well said! We all need to connect as Americans and not allow ourselves to be divided!

        • LarryChambers

          @jimmyraschel  James Brown in I think it was around 1970 wrote a song that still sticks with me today. In fact it has been a guiding post for me over the course of my life. In it are the words” I don’t want nobody to give me nothing; open up the door and I’ll get it myself.” And I think too that a lot of bogus legislation drowned out or smotherd MLK’s message. Our culture received an atomic blast when parents were told they could not use corporal punishment to discipline their children and that is where Dr. Kings message was snuffed out along with the freebie programs. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton have been totaly ineffective in spreading the message of self sufficiency. So now the ones coming up are saturated with getting high, sex and hanging out. And now we have legislation that says, Everybody do what you want to do, marry whatever or whoever you want. Have all the babies you want we’ll take care of them. What a message of irresponsibility. But it’s easier to lay down than get up and go to work; only thing is, your mind goes to waste. God bless you and thank you.

        • cactusbob

          @jimmyraschel  @LarryChambers  Extremely valuable posting, jimmy.  Hard to say how many times each year that message would be appropriate in these blogs, but especially on this MLK day.  I would also say on this BHO inaugural day, but as you pointed out so well, Obama is working against America’s greatness, not for it.  We’re in for a couple of tough years as he is determined to prevent criminals from killing people by disarming the future victims.  Sheesh!

           Thank you Jimmy. I just wish the MSM would get on board with you. They seem to think he can do no wrong, After all, I have not heard of ANY of them loosing their homes or jobs. I was in the service for 24+ years, long before Obama, the only place I have ever seen in this country where all races can work together to accomplish the mission. Thank you again, it sounds like you would have worked out good in the service. :)

          @MarilynMartina  Unfortunately, being a responsible black person isnt cool in “da hood”.  In “da hood” you dont pay child support, you dont work, unless its stealing or selling drugs or human flesh.  You dont do anything that would make it look like you were helping “the man”.  It’s truely sad, but thats how it goes.  Glad I dont live in “da hood”.  I would probably have ended up like Robert Zimmerman.

        • MarilynMartina

          @obama Hates America

          I agree with you, for the most part.  But then you come across someone — that one someone or two or three who did the straight line in “da hood” against all odds and figured their way out.  I applaud those people.

          I found my way out of the white “da hood.”

          I applaud anyone who finds their way out of a black “da hood” or a white “da hood.”  It’s no easy feat.  I love finding those people.  They’re usually very interesting with some interesting background.

          What that tells me is it can be done.

          From my experience, the government can’t get anyone out of “da hood.”  The government can dump all the money it wants into ‘da hood” and it just stays “da hood.”  It’s the people themselves that lift themselves out and they generally help their siblings out, if their siblings WANT out.  Sometimes they don’t.

        • mikeswann2mike swann

          mikeswann@twitter..condi rice, allen west, herman cain, some tv fox news contributers (conservatives) got out of “da hood”.  oprah did but she hates whites, capitalism but this is he system that made her rich. i have seen how these mavericks are castigated by other blacks. and white libs.  blacks are always the manority yet always vote for democrats.  so, what have the demos done for them?  the 1964 civil rights bill wouldn’t have passed unless Repubs signed it and even Johnson didn’t want it, but had to follow kennedy’s  start on it.  southern democrats brought the slaves here and wanted slavery to continue, lincoln felt sorry for them andlost his life over it.  KKK was started by Demos.  Robt Byrd W>Va sen or congressman was a KKK member and Demo but the Demos kept that on the quiet.  George Wallace of Ala who had his photo taken hlding his arm across a school house door in Ala so black kids couldn’t get througgh back in the 60′s when Robt Kennedy sent national guard, dogs down to save the blacks.  yet, they suck up to the demoscrats.  more blacks are out of work now than ever.  demos patronize minorites, keep them minorities since a demo could vote, before that they didn’t want anything to do with them.

          @MarilynMartina  @jimmyraschel  @LarryChambers
           OK, take a little stroll thru one of the black ghettos in any of our major metro areas.  Go on a saturday night around 1 or 2 AM.  Go alone and un armed.  Monday come back and tell us how much you love the blacks.  And no, all the blacks do not live like that, just the vast majority.

        • LarryChambers

          @Whackajig  @MarilynMartina  @jimmyraschel I fail to see the fairness in your comment. What you’re saying in reality is that, to do as you suggested is to set yourself up for failure. Birds of a feather flock together and that runs true in any neighborhood strichen with poverty . Obviously, a ghetto is not the ideal place to expect its inhabitants to possess humility in large amounts or for the sniffing of pretty flowers. You’ll find this same sentiment in any ghetto in any part of the world. Blacks happen to be your frame of reference.
          How you feel makes no difference. What does the word of God say?John 15:12, Christ says to His diciples, ” This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. And you don’t have to go to a ghetto to get robbed. Evil doesn’t care what color you are. Are all politicians the same color? And, are they not robbing us?  The WH itself is not a ghetto is it?
           And that phrase, “how much you love Blacks”, would suggest your  true state of mind towards Blacks.

        • Whackajig

          @jimmyraschel  @LarryChambers
           You say “protect one another at all costs”  Protect from whom?  Other gangs?  Horrible Republicans who want them to get a job?  Police (in ebonics = poooooleeece) serving warrants?  Mothers searching for a baby’s daddy?  The landlord wanting the last 4 months rent?  The drug dealer who was not paid?

        • Whackajig

          @LarryChambers
           Leroy, I never intend for my comment to be “fair”  however, I do want them to be accurate. I suggested the ghetto is a place where no one in their right mind actually wishes to go, but if you do go there and only get robbed, you got off lucky.  I make no bones about my distaste for a race of people who vote over 95% of the time for the food stamp party.  Blacks support the democraps because the democraps promise the blacks freebies for which they need not work.  Are all blacks lazy thieves?  Of ocurse not and I know personally all three of them who are not.

    Impeach the alias “Barrack Hussein Obama”, then prosecute him for the multitude of crimes that CIA operatives have committed at Obama´s direction.  Pastor James Manning of ATLAH workd-wide ministries of Harlem provides some of the background information that Obama and his hip-pocket judges have attempted to hide from the world.  While one CIA operative declined to assassinate pastor Manning, the large-scale graffiti smeared on the outter walls of ATLAH buildings and local hate groups suggest that pastor Manning is delivering truth that Obamacrats want to stifle.
    So, “Obama” was “socially organizing” the Afghanis against the Russians, while the CIA was falsifying his attendance at Columbia U.?  I wonder what the KGB thinks about that ?  Also, considering the testimony of Mr. Larry Sinclair about Obama´s use of cocaine and his homosexual episodes, to which Mr. Larry Sinclair has testified, one wonders who is the father of Mrs. Obama´s daughters – .  Also, if she were picked out by the CIA and required to marry him – - or else?  The American heroine, Susan Lindauer gives an inside view of the CIA in her videos.
    Few Americans care to believe that the CIA was formed by a NAZI general snuck into the US and hired by the Dulles brothers, both of whom were NAZI supporters –  - – so much inside info about NAZI in the USA that Americans are not aware of – - –  which non-insiders find hard to believe.   So very sad.  So very sad.  Man of the hour, Dr. James D. Manning of ATLAH World Ministries.  (Dr. Manning is a genuine Negro American, praise God! )

      @livefyre8158 Pastor Manning is a true American! Never should of brought the Nazis over here after the war… & now we have communist to  boot!!!

  • http://evergreenfarms.org rescue101

    Obama is directly responsible for our economic woes.  The sad thing is, he’s doing it by design not inexperience.  He, as a Muslim, knows exactly what he is doing and the sadder thing is, we the people are letting him do it.  I agree with Mr. Mackey, Whole Foods, it may be time to impeach our President.  In fact, he has yet to prove he is even eligible to be our President.  He has effectively ‘Short Circuited’ our system of checks and balances. He dares anyone to challenge him now that he has his own ‘Armed Forces’ funded by Obamacare.  Thank God for our 2ND Amendment Rights.

    • cactusbob

      @rescue101  Those 2nd Amendment rights have been under attack for a while, now, and a new assault is in the works.  The GOP “leadership” appear incapable of dealing with other things, so I doubt that they will repel all of the effects of Obama’s Executive Orders diminishing the 2nd Amendment, one bit at a time.  Armed insurrection may be the only way to stop him, and that makes it obvious that Obama will make serious attempts for confiscation.  Oh, you say that BHO supports the 2nd Amendment?  Sure, and he LIES A LOT.

    • Seymour Kleerly

      @rescue101 Obama inherited an economy in freefall. America was losing 750,000 jobs a month in Bush’s last quarter. Are you angry at Bush for anything?

        @Seymour Kleerly  @rescue101 Blaming Bush is SO over.

        We now have a Socialist lying president.  I remember the first lie Obama told, and that was that he was going to be a transparent president and that all healthcare debates were going to be held on Court TV and there would be NO backroom deals.  lol

        What a laugh!!  For transparent president, he never released his college records.  Then he never put the healthcare debates (conversations on Court TV) and there were a SLEW of ugly backroom deals.  And on top of that he would not release the people (Unions) who visited the White House.  That information had to be gone to court to get.

        To me, Obama saying he was going to be our first Transparent President with a Transparent White House was his first lie and he’s been lying ever since.   And remember he said he was going to get rid of lobbyist!!  It’s one laugh and one lie after another, and it just doesn’t stop.

        So as far as President Bush, he’s so old news.  Obama is the liar in chief and nothing more than that.  It’s a sad day in America.

      • obama Hates America

        Still blaming Bush?  Unbelievable.  Well, keep drinking your kool-aid.  Your going to hell with obuthead.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @obama Hates America I was simply correcting Rescue 101 who said that Obama is responsible for our economic woes. Should I not point out the Freefall Bush left America in because it makes you mad?  You certainly won’t deny it I hope.

        • Retired USAF MSGT

          @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           I understand that the economy under Bush was falling, BUT it has been four years of Obama’s economy now and nothing has REALLY changed except Higher Taxes, A not needed Health Care System that Nobody knows what it will cost (along with New Taxes imbedded in it too), Unemployment staggers around 7.6-8.5% with no end in sight. Please think about it that unemployment number is no where near what it really is. So after 4 years nothing ahs changed other than more taxes across the board for EVERYONE. Now he wants to go after  legal guns, owned by this countries “Militia” (the Peoples Right to own and bear). Don’t you see more clearly yet?

        • obama Hates America

          It wasnt “created” by Bush.  He was just the unfortunate receiver of said “gift”.  We all know, or at least I hope we do, know who did this to us.

          @obama Hates America Let me take a wild guess. Clinton?

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Retired USAF MSGT  @obama Hates America Again Obama inherited the freefall. It stopped 2 months into his term and has  been improving ever since. It’s been painfully slow but it’s understandable considering the epic collapse in 2008. Maybe he could have done better maybe it could have been far worse. Either way he’s not responsible for our still deep Recession. Nobody ever will but Bush.

        • Retired USAF MSGT

          @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           Keep thinking the way he wants you to. Nothing will change that mind of yours anyway. I lived through Jimmy Carter I guess I will just have to endure this MESS TOO.

          Your correcting Rescue?  Isnt that the blind leading the hopeful?

          ANNNNNKKKKKK!!! WRONG ANSWER.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           Seeless clearly forgets that Bush had a dummycrap congress to contend with after 2006.  She also forgets that the recession was officially over 9 months into the ovomit adminsistration.  His policies could not have had anything to do wioth the end of the recession.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @Retired USAF MSGT  @obama Hates America
           Unemployment is the same as when ovomit took office.  He sure as chit has not improved that.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @obama Hates America This economic collapse wasn’t caused by one year of a Dem. Congress. It started in late 2007 and crashed in late 2008. For most America it didn’t end in 9 months but still is going on.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @Retired USAF MSGT  @obama Hates America As I said before, the freefall continued one month into Obama’s term. Naturally the unemployment figures reflected that fact. Nice try.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           Bush had his last TWO  years dominated by a commie Senate and House of reps.  It is certainly only ovomit’s fault that the economic collapse is still going on.  Ovomit can lay claim to the only downgrade in US credit standing in History.  I am sure the parasites who support our commie muslim King wish all could be blamed on Bush, but the reason this nation is sucking hind titty is the black POS in the White Mosque.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           Nope not Klintoon.  It has always been the parasites who vote for the food stamp party who continue to take America down.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @obama Hates America The economy started tanking in late 2007, which gives the Dems. less than one year in Congress and the Senate. Bills take a long time to be drawn up and passed. The math doesn’t work for you. Also it was the cretin Tea Party that caused the US credit downgrade by playing chicken and actually crashing America’s car. Only Ditto Heads can’t know that.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @obama Hates America Had Bush not driven us into the giant ditch, far fewer people would need Food Stamps. No?

        • downenray

          @Seymour Kleerly  President Bush did his best for 8 years. The last two years he was handicapped by having Democrats in charge of both the Senate and the House. The ones responsible for the mess Obama inherited were the Democrats who worked against President Bush the final two years he served. He was able to keep the war effort going, but was helpless to cure the things being led by a Democrat Senator and a Democrat Representative which resulted in the burst bubble early in Obama’s presidency. Those who put the Democrats in control in 2006 are responsible for the problems inherited by Obama.

        • downenray

          @Seymour Kleerly  President Bush is in no way responsible for the mess inherited and made worse by Obama.

        • downenray

          @Seymour Kleerly  The economic mess surely WAS caused by actions of the Senate and House and not at all by any action of President Bush. That we are much worse off after four years of Obama can’t be denied.

        • downenray

          @Seymour Kleerly  The Tea Party has done well for the U.S.A. The credit downgrade was directly caused by Obama and the Democrat-controlled Senate. The Republican party can be the salvation of this nation.

        • scientist5

          @downenray  @Seymour Kleerly
          You are so right – the blame for our mess goes to the voters who put in a Democratic Senate and House.   If we do not elect a Republican Congress in 2014 America is going to continue to decline financially, politcally, miltarily, and morally.   I add, elect competent Republicans, not the variety that makes up the majority of our politicians.

        • charlietb

          @Seymour Kleerly  @Retired USAF MSGT  @obama Hates America who was in charge of Congress in those last two years of bushes presidency, you guessed it, the liberal the Democrats.

        • downenray

          @charlietb  It was both the Senate and the Congress which were controlled by Democrats the last two years of the presidency of President George W. Bush and the first two years of Obama’s reign. The Democrats are responsible for the mess this nation is in, with lots of credit deserved by the President but some left for Reid in the Senate.

        • charlietb

          @downenray I meant both houses of Congress were controlled by the Democrats

        • downenray

          @charlietb Yes, you were right, but I observe that many of us think of “Congress” as being the House of Representatives and the Senate being the Senate. You noticed that I had that idea. You were right.

           Compare the economy before and after 2006 when Bush was shackled with a dummycrap controlled congress which resulted in the recession we are still in now.  Historians have noted that this recession fueled by ovomit’s ineptness is the slowest on record to correct itself.  Is ovomit responsible for all of our ecomonic woes?  No not all, but those he did not cause, he has made much worse.

        • Whackajig

        • matforce

          @Whackajig  @Seymour Kleerly  @obama Hates America
           You have finally said something that I can agree with sort’a.  The key for me is “work ethic.’
          Was moonlighting last year; busted out a sidewalk.  Took the concrete to an Asphalt Co. where they crush it and use it for underlayment on roads to asphalt over.  Pull up to the gate and ask where to unload my pick-up truck full of concrete.  He points to a pile.  I drive by a guy on a trackhoe scooping up pieces of concrete slabs and dumping it in the crusher unit that conveyers it onto a pile.
          After I unload my truck onto the pile, the trackhoe operatror walks up and says, “Hey, not that pile, this pile over here.” and points to a pile 20 yards away.  I say, “You want me to reload this back on my truck and move it 20 yards?”  He says, “Nah, I’m just shittin’ ya.”  And we both have a laugh.

          We get to talking, he tells me he worked for a large excavating company where he made over $100,000 during good years when there was lots of overtime, but it got slow after the 2008 financial crisis, and he got laid off.  He has two brothers who work in management for two different companies that rode his ass about collecting unemployment whenever they’d get together at family functions.  He says, “Hire me, you know I’ll work!”  They say, “We’re not hiring.”
          He says, “Then shut the hell up!  I’m looking for work in my trade; there’s nothing there!”  They keep on him, so he takes this job crushing concrete at the asphalt co.; takes a $200/wk. cut from what he was collecting in unemployment. He’s hoping the economy picks back up soon so he can get a job with another excavation co.  He tells me he needs to purchase Health Insurance for his family, but if he does, there’s no way he’ll be able to pay his mortgage, electric, insurance, groceries, etc. cause he can’t pay it now.

          I work side jobs with some of my friends in the concrete trade. Some of them are gettiing old now, with bad backs, knees, shoulders, carpal tunnel, etc. but cannot afford Health Insurance and are out of work because of the poor economy.  I could go on telling stories about these proud men, who are scrounging around for work since the economy tanked.  Most of them are or were Republicans all their lives.  If these old guys cannot find work and seek assistance; would you consider them “parasites” or “leeches” ?  Because if you did so it is a damned good thing you are lofting these types of names from the confines and comfort of your keyboard or there would, I can assure you, some swift and strenuous resprisal in store, should you use that kind of language in regard to these proud common men in my presence, regardless of your stature!  Some of your and others’ comments on these thread confims what my father-in-law once said.  “There are more horses asses than there are horses!”

        • obama Hates America

          Joann, Un fortunately the people who voted him in never use common sense.  They would only have to remember one thing.  A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take everything you have.

      • cactusbob

        @Seymour Kleerly  @rescue101  I’m angry at Bush for not even trying to keep the spending down and for not doing anything to even slow down the illegal immigration.  But the economic freefall was the direct result of years of Democrats in Congress pressuring and threatening the big lenders to make home loans to buyers who could not qualify to get the loans under normal lending practices.

        These Democrats who were most vocal were Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Chris Dodd, and Chuck Schumer.  They shouted down all Republican attempts to look objectively at the rapid rate these potentially bad loans were being made.  The banks that were making the big money by selling the loans to Fannie and Freddie were making huge contributions to these Democrats (including Senator Obama), and with ineffective Republican controls there was no limit.  Wall Street joined in by marketing packaged loans as securities, creating yet more demand for the loans.  THAT’S the basic cause of the housing crash, but that’s not what you hear from the Democrats.  The ruin created ostensibly to “help” the poor actually caused most of them to lose their homes, setting in motion a domino effect that resulted in loss of jobs and trillions of dollars in reduced property values.  But the lenders and the Democrats became very rich – and the taxpayers picked up the tab.  If you want the complete real story, read “Architects of Ruin,”  by Peter Schweizer, don’t just disbelieve what I wrote because you hear different reasons.

          @Seymour Kleerly  @rescue101   So read the book, Seymour.  It is well documented.  I knew people would disagree just because they have heard different stories.  Check out the author’s credentials, too.  Liberals are so anxious to label people with whom they disagree, like “Fox News version.”  That’s the most truthful news source there is, by the way.  Bet you voted for Obama, too.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @cactusbob  @rescue101
           Conservatives wish for a smaller government which is less intrusive in our lives.  Conservatives want lower taxes for all, and a more prosperous America.  Conservatives feel the parasites should pull their own weight and not leech off of the productive conservatives.

          Liberals want to coast free living off of the fruits of someone else’s labor.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @cactusbob  @rescue101 You’re correct that the Dems made a big mistake with the Mortgage loan programs. It might have worked but when things got tight, it collapsed. Bush also loved to tout  the “Ownership” society”.

        @Seymour Kleerly  I am certainly not angry at Bush for anything. He led us well. But the election which put Democrats in control for his last two years prevented his doing things which would have been good for the nation during those two years which led into Obama’s reign as our first dictator, with the Democrats still in full control also of the House and Senate the first twos years. Obama is responsible for the miserable time we are having and will continue to have with him in charge. Many now realize that Obamacare is a tragedy. But worse is ahead with Democrats controlling this nation.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @downenray Do you think the Iraq war HELPED America? Did it prolong our 12 year ground war in Afganistan?  Did it drain our treasury and deplete our military? Has it created far for enemies than friends?

       Naive, misinformed voters are directly responsible for our mess.  This weakness in our country has been building ever since LBJ and his Great Society.   LBJ didn’t understand that as more and more is taken from fewer and fewer the system collapses.   All he wanted was power for himself.  Sound familar?

      • downenray

        @scientist5  I have to disagree that voters are “directly responsible” for the mess Obama has made and is making. Does anyone think there actually were as many voters as there were votes counted for Obama? I surely don’t. And most at fault in the last election were those who chose to not vote at all. The total number of votes counted was far less than in either of the two previous elections, but more were eligible to vote due to illegal aliens being allowed to vote in some states. But the count came out in Obama’s favor, and we now have to decide whether the nation can survive four more miserable years with an enemy in the White House. It doesn’t seem likely.

        • Seymour Kleerly

This indicates a level of hubris that I have never witnessed in ANY President. I seem to remember this was the reason the Revolutionary War was fought. This indicates a real disrespect for the public he is supposed to represent . Is he REALLY so full of himself that he actually enjoys the pain he is imposing on the middle class? If so, he has major psychological issues.

    Mr Clinton started out quite liberal, concentrating on social programs but half way though his first term he realized that a nanny state was impractible and unachievable whereupon he switched to more conservative policies primarily lowering the national debt and allowing the economy to recover.  I dont feel President Obama will make such an adjustment as per his most recent speech.

    Why look to people who have a track record of success in business.?  Just look how Communism, Socialism, Facism, Nazism.  Their leaders were thugs, incompetents and poorly educated for the most part.  They also took over industries and business.  Look at their great success stories!

    @Whackajig  So you don’t have respect for the Blacks who voted for O, but you do have love for all the Whites and Latinos and whoever else that voted for him? The reason I ask is that you only mention your distaste for Blacks although you try to disguise your half likeness for the three that you know. I would say that for a man’s character to held in high esteem, he would also have to be known as a a fair and honest man, would he not?  However, I take notice that men of that caliber are not welcome anymore.

Stop making his reelection a racial issue as though it’s the Blacks only. He’s got the bankers as friends who are worth more than $ 43 trillion. How could he lose?

That is where I  sometime receive conflicting attitudes. But that does not bother me. If you were lost, would you not be made glad if you were pointed in the right direction? At that point, color of skin won’t mean a hill of beans. So, God says simple acts of love can change things. We are to always demonstrate the person and character of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
          We are to have unconditional love for others. Meaning regardless of their attitudes, their prejudiceses, their hatred we are to love them, feed them and clothe them. You can clothe and feed others with truth and Bible doctrine. Always depend on the word of God for solutions and answers. You’ll never go wrong.

          @LarryChambers  This blog is about Obamacare. How do your remarks fit? Did you not realize that we were talking about politics?

      • Kissitgoodbye

        @Seymour Kleerly  @LarryChambers  @Whackajig
         From What I have read of Larry’s posts, he seems like a decent human being. That is ALL that matters.  Like anywhere else, you are going to find  people who feel compelled to make nasty comments. Don’t try to paint everyone on here with the same brush. I prefer Larry’s comments to any that have been made by you, for instance. His comments have much more insight and worth.

        • LarryChambers

          @Kissitgoodbye  Thank you! How inspiring. You and I both are always searching for that good sense of balance as it relates to the misguided and misundersttod notions of todays society. I’m not perfect, but I try to make good peace keeping efforts. Both Blacks and Whites have tried to bridge the gap of hatred only to have their efforts thwarted by both races, which has continually left America hanging in futility having never learned the true successes and values of true love. What a shame.

        • Whackajig

          @Kissitgoodbye  @Seymour Kleerly  @LarryChambers
           Lots of “decent” people are stupid enough to fall for ovomit’s line of lies.  Being decent is not all that matters.

        • Whackajig

          @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye
           It is a black and white thing isn’t it?  Blacks want freebies and whites are forced by the government to give them freebies.  And, yes it is a pity.  I do not detest the blacks for their chitskin, but rather for their nasty, filthy, thieving, drug laden, disease infested lifestyle.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye The vast majority of Blacks do not fit your profile. You’ve been duped by the Right Wing Hate Machine yet again. I would hope that anyone who stumbles onto this site would not lump all whites together with you and your racist pals. Sad.

        • Whackajig

          @Seymour Kleerly  @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye
           So, Seeless you think that the majority of blacks do not fit how I see them?  You are probably right that they are much worse than I describe, but I was trying to be CONSERVATIVE.  You are correct again, that not all whites should be lumped with me.  You must be aware that if not for the white welfare rats, ovomit would not have been elected even once.  I have not been duped by anyone, my view of the people I describe is shaped by personal experience and my own observations.  If there were a “right wing hate machine”, what would they hate?  Maybe white and black parasites?  Maybe able bodied folks who refuse to support themselves even though they could?  The career government dependent leeches?  Perhaps we hate working so hard just to have our government steal our money to give to some parasitic scumbag.  Maybe we might even hate having a black muslim, anti-American piece of chit ruining our nation.

        • LarryChambers

          @Whackajig  @Kissitgoodbye Are you saying all Whites have an over abundance of wealth? I mean since you’ve generalized  your comment that’s what your saying. All Blacks are on drugs and dying of sexualy transmitted diseases, all Blacks are filthy, all Blacks are theiving no good people. Who are always at the mercy of White people. And you do not detest us for our chitskin. Are you without sin? Do you live a perfect life? What makes you better than a Black man, the color of your skin? Is that all, just because you are White? I can see it now, you telling God what color you wanted to be born. Actualy, you are in worse shape than those you hate. At least they know why they are hated and who hates them. You don’t have a clue. All you’ve done is followed in the steps of racial hatred as your fathers have done. And you have denied, witheld, suppressed and opressed innocent people. And now you have the gall to finger point at the very ones you hate for no reason. No, I do not engage in racial hatred and I do not hate you. I know why you think the way you do and I know you cannot help yourself. You won’t find love or forgiveness through any other than the Lord Jesus Christ I learned in life that, whenever I hear racial hatred, I know it comes from Satan. Let me ask you, do you think all White people love you because you’re White? I already know the answer. Maybe you love all White people because they’re White.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye What % of Blacks fit your profile (the Right Wing version)?  Do you think the Right Wing Hate Machine influenced your ridiculous last sentence?

        • Whackajig

          @LarryChambers  @Whackajig  @Kissitgoodbye
           Not every single black is a thieving, lying , lazy disease infested, government dependent piece of chit.  5% of the blacks vote Republican.  You often speak of God and our Lord.  Pssst, it was He who made you black, not me.  Incidentally, I do not hate blacks because off their skin color, it is due to their lifestyle and I hate the scumbag whites who exibit the same characteristics

        • downenray

          @Kissitgoodbye  It would be good if commenters were commenting about the topic of the blog. Obamacare is aimed at destroying healthcare in the U.S.A. and it’s well on its way to doing it.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @LarryChambers
           What many people fail to realize is that discrimination of ANY kind is instilled and supported at the government level. The fact of the matter is that the more reviled and feared you can make any group, the more you can get away with doing what you want with little outcry from the citizens. This keeps people from uniting…keeps us divided.  Who benefits from that? Government.

          While Seymour here thinks the Democrats are the supporters of African Americans, I think they have been a destructive force to that community. They have created generational dependency, to the point where many in that community do not think they could survive without government help. That, in my book, is a tragedy.

          Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger. The majority of abortions are performed on minorities in this country. 78 % of their clinics are in minority areas. Is that an accident?  I don’t think so.  Margaret Sanger was a big fan of eugenics. So were the Nazis.I just saw a commerical on TV celebrating ROE vs Wade. To say it was distastful is an understatement. They managed to get a black actor to perform in it.  I have to wonder if he would have done so had he known the history.

          Some on here want to know what this has to do with Obamacare.  The answer is EVERYTHING!  It  represents control over citizens. When you control healthcare, you control people. Look at the history folks!
          The Dems are no friend of African Americans.

        • LarryChambers

          @Kissitgoodbye God I love you!! This parallels exactly what I’ve been saying. It’s not an excuse it’s a fact. I saw it developing with my own eyes at the age of 16 years old. I saw young women disappearing from the neighborhoods and moving into their own government funded apartments. In the 70′s they paid almost no rent and utilities were free. They also (at that time in Indy) received monthly checks. They were alotted depending upon family size. Then came foodstamps. They were not allowed to have male companions living with them. It was a rule that was never acquried. But all in all, that  was where the division of the Black family came in. Women did not want to risk loosing the places and their income to get married, and also they reveled in the idea of what they believed or considered to be freedom. Hence the phrase, “I don’t need no man to do anything for me.” The government had taken the Blackman’s place. On into the 70′s jobs began to dry up. It’s like this, it’s the parents responsibility to prepare their children for the world. There were mothers and fathers with so much pressure from the world it was seldom time for a good-nights sleep. But those are the children you see that never give up. Those in the projects, it’s the only life they know because they never venture far from them.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @LarryChambers
           The saying is true “A Child Lives What He Learns”.  Teaching dependence leads to just that.  The Middle Class gets the bill and understandably gets angry.

          .

        • Bull57

          @Kissitgoodbye @LarryChambers You can escape though. To escape you first need to understand or recognize What you are escaping from. I’m white, but I grew up like this. I associated and friends with people from the middle to upper middle class and recognized the difference between their family and mine. I vowed that my children would not grow up in such an environment and I was successful.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @Bull57  @Kissitgoodbye  @LarryChambers
           Yes, you can escape. Many have. Just look at Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson. They know better, but you don’t see them telling the truth about it because it would not be well received.  It would undermine the foundation of what has been taught as truth. I think that is where the Republican Party MUST go. Not sure they will.  Then you have Rev Jackson and Sharpton and others like them, who would be unemployed without the racial divide.  They thrive on it at the expense of those they supposedly “Protect”.What are they REALLY protecting?

          Take a baby elephant, raised in a zoo. His leg is chained so he is unable to move about. He tries when he’s a baby and he can’t do it. Then he gets bigger and stronger. He can easily break that chain around his leg, but he doesn’t even try because he doesn’t know he can. That becomes his truth.
          It’s the same with people.  We all feel secure in what is familiar and scared of what isn’t.
          The Democrats have been offering false “Truth”. It serves their purpose. Make no mistake…they have harmed the black community. It’s a real catch 22. I hope the Black Community comes to this realization, and I hope the White Community gets what has been going on too. The fact is… we ALL need each other!

        • Bull57

          @Kissitgoodbye @LarryChambers I was born in the 50′s and grew up with black – white hate, riots etc. at this point in my life the majority of my dislike of blacks had all but disappeared. Obama personally has taken me back 20 or 30 years. It’s a shame. As far as I’m concerned let the blacks just have at each other! Kill yourselves with guns, drugs, aids don’t care no more. You all can thank Obama for that!!!

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @Bull57  @Kissitgoodbye  @LarryChambers
           And Obama wouldn’t want it ANY OTHER WAY! It plays right in with his final solution.

        • Bull57

          @Kissitgoodbye @LarryChambers you are absolutely right. He wants race and class warfare. Martial law next!

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @Bull57 / It didn’t start with him. It may finish with him.

        • cactusbob

          @Kissitgoodbye  @LarryChambers   Kissit, you re right as rain.  Democrats are a destructive force to the Black community.  The majority of the black community doesn’t realize it, though, so they keep voting Democrat – and they will continue, as long as they get their ObamaPhone and food stamps.  That makes the black community think that they owe support to the Democrats and believe that Democrats are supporting them.  They are, in dollars, but only to lock them into Big Government as they discourage creating new jobs by their socialistic actions.

          One of these days, they’ll open their eyes, and black leaders such as Star Parker will finally get through to them.  I may not live that long, though.  In the meantime, it is indeed a tragedy, as their support of Democrats just accelerates Obama’s appetite for power.  Had you heard that he has included a litmus test for new leaders: whether or not they would order troops to fire on U.S citizens if so directed.  He’s looking for gun confiscation ASAP, since no takeover has been successful without that happening first, and he plans a takeover.  This is on topic, since O’Care has doctors getting gun ownership information.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @cactusbob  @LarryChambers
           I know for a FACT that doctors ARE asking questions regarding gun ownership, because I myself was asked that very question. I find that quite disturbing…putting doctors in between their patients and the government. NOT GOOD! The days of a doctor/patient relationship are gone.
          Also…the black community goes after African Americans who are running for office as Republicans,calling them “Uncle Toms”.  The Dems are the responsible party for Jim Crow laws. That is FACT.  I don’t know what it will take to convince them that they are voting for the very people who are causing them the most harm.  One in four African Americans do not have a job today. That can hardly be considered a success.

          I vote according to candidate, not party. It’s all about policy for me. I believe  there are plenty of Republicans who have their fair share of issues as well. They don’t get a free pass with me, and I won’t vote for them because are are Republican. They better bring more than that to the table.

           I want an answer as to WHY the question is being asked of our military..are you  willing to turn your guns against our own citizens?.  That is what dictators expect from their military.  It is troubling,to say the least.  The pressing question of the day seems to be whether of not Beyonce actually sang the Star Spangled Banner. I think we have bigger fish to fry here…but maybe that’s just me.

        • cactusbob

          @Kissitgoodbye  @LarryChambers   It seems obvious to me that Obama wants a military that he can rely on to put down a rebellion of the citizens.  (I should have specified a litmus test for MILITARY leaders.)  Homeland Security (the very name suggests communism) has recently purchased billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition, and I doubt if it is to hunt game with.  Since our White House occupant is a budding dictator, it makes sense.  The past several months have set records for the sale of guns and ammunition to the point where they are frequently difficult to locate in stores.  There are a lot more armed citizens to be reckoned with than before BHO first took office.

        • LarryChambers

          @Kissitgoodbye  @cactusbob If your sense of dignity would carry over in D.C., we would have a beautiful relationship with our political community. The real shame of what has taken place within the Black community is absolutely disgusting. All of this free stuff given by the government was used to entrap the low-informed citizens regardless of color.
          But  the leading candidates were Black. They never really capitalized on MLK’s message. The social gospel had infiltrated the minds of those who were dependent upon the pastors to deliver the truth of Christ’s gospel. In other words they loved the way he taught but turned deaf ears to his message. He wanted racial equality; gives us the same opportunities as you have since we are all Americans. After all this is as far as we have come as a nation. But thanks be to God for the improvements that have been made. Nowadays, knowledge is the key. In order to get a decent paying job is going to require an education (which has always been the concept.) This Democrat Party thing is so deep seated in their minds it’s like it’s a part of their bodies. We try to talk to the little children so as to steer them away from developing a  lifestyle of sunken mentality, only to find ourselves at war with their mothers who demand total control over what goes into their children’s ears.
          I believe those doctors asking questions about guns are not only required but are getting paid as well. Greed. All you have to do is mention money, and just watch people will loose everything they believe in. When you see people comment about the economy  and nothing about God who gives us all things,
          they are not really concerned about America, they’re concerned about loosing their possessions.

        • Whackajig

          @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye  @cactusbob
           Leroy Larry……………. you wish blacks to have equality?  Then demand that affirmative action be stopped.  As you know, affirmative action elevates unqualified darkies to positions they have not earned simply due to their skin color.  A white person is chit on simply because they are white.

          If you wish equality, then START BEING EQUAL.  Tell you bros to develop a lifestyle which is more socially acceptable.

        • LarryChambers

          @cactusbob  @Kissitgoodbye  I’ve to say your right. But we must also look at how many more people than those on foodstamps are voting for Democrats. There are more voting for Democrats than the number of foodstam precepients. First figure what is the percentage of Blacks on foodstamps. Then, figure the percentage of voters as opposed to the entire population of voters in America and compare the numbers. I don’t think you will find it anywhere close. That’s why I rely on facts rather than the media or politicians. But also, examine the facts of how all this Demo thinking got started in the first place and what all was involved. But the really sad thing is, is that without a women having a child (at the time this got started) she would not qualify for any government assistance. And but for a few exceptions it’s that way today. But still it’s the children that are being used, because without them there would be none of this nonsense. But the kids in a lot of homes do not reap the benefits form this blind wealth as they go hungry because the mothers are more concerned for their own welfare rather than the childs. The stamps are traded for cash and the kids do without. It’s a vicious cycle, one I thank God I never got caught up in.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @LarryChambers  @Kissitgoodbye So what % of Blacks fit your profile?  You won’t answer because it’s very low and you look even dumber.

           I have not had the opportunity to examine all the N’s but of those I know enough about to say, i would say about 50% are swine, but I detest all the 95% of them who voted for ovomit (actually, they voted for more food stamps).If it makes you feel better I am an equal opportunity detester, I fully detest the whites who live their lives like a black.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @Whackajig  @LarryChambers  @cactusbob
           Glad you brought up Affirmative Action. That was supposed to be a temporary measure that was meant to level the playing field, back in 1961, during the Civil Rights era.  It was never meant to be what it has become, a permanant fixture. This is one more example of what Dems have used  as a bribe to get the vote. It does not help the African American Community. It harms them. What are Dems and supposedly well meaning community leaders telling Black people?  The message is that they are not good enough to compete in society, so they need help. I think it reinforces the divide because it is reverse racism. It also takes incentive and motivation away from the people.
          When Bill Cosby said this, he was attacked for his views. I think he was 100% correct. Bill Cosby wants better for his people. That is his ONLY interest. The Democrats have their own interests at heart. They have bought their base at the expense of African Americans. We can say these were unintended consequences. I believe they knew exactly what they were doing. How do you fight something that has the veneer of looking like you have compassion…when the result has such devastating consequences?  The Dems have become like the corner drug dealer. Once addicted, you want that dealer to stay because without him, you can’t exist.The dealer does care about his customers any more than the Democrats care about theirs.They will both keep supplying the goods until death.

           Whacka…I am not saying anything to be PC.  I am sayining what I feel is behind this election. Larry has nothing to do with any of this. The Dems have created this. Unless you get over you blind rage and look at why and how, it will continue.  What you think looks like an advantage, is in fact very destructive. I’d go so far as to label it evil.

        • mikeswann2mike swann

          whachajig,  there are many, many on food stamps of both colors because of the high unemployment.  I am not taking up for  any particular rce, group,just stating a fact.  we have high unemployment because the presdient has made it difficult for small businesses to strive.  O admits the small bus owner generates 9% of America’s wealth.  small banks are afraid to lend for the same reason.  o doens’t tell us what the fine print is when he says he is trying to help the small bus owner.  I listened to too many small bus owners on TV (o C-span) raising hell about all the mandates put on them by healthcare and EPA., and taxes.

          The average person doen;t pay attention what is going on in this country.  If you tell them dthey day you are a racist or a whack job. Most haven’t heard of Obama’s 40 odd anti_American czars, his relationship to George Soros or who Soros even is.  Soros admits she wants capitalism to end and the old 60′s radical Frances Fox Piven, former professor of Saul Alinsky’s ideas on lhow we should lilve, made the statement that putting as many people on welafre was the easiest way to bring capitalism down.  She was Clinton’s advisor and is now one of Obama’s friends and advisors.  Also check out hlders’s history and Valerie Jarrett’s and Mark LLoyd, all Obama’s anti_American advisors.

        • Kissitgoodbye

          @mikeswann2mike swann
           I agree with you.  Have you noticed that unemployment was not even mentioned in his inaugural address…but “Green energy” was front and center? People who are out of work and on food stamps to exist, care about his green energy program?  Are you kidding me? They care about their tax dollars going to the likes of Solyndra, while they suffer.  He didn’t mention jobs because he doesn’t care about the creation of them. It doesn’t fit in with his plan.

          I mention race, not to have a race debate. I mention it because it fits in with the agenda, which has been honed for years. That is where it started. That is where this policy started to take root. All very deliberate. Being PC has NOTHING to do with it. Keep blaming African Americans. We are heading there also. NOT by choice.
          Does anyone believe that Universal Healthcare should be a priority when people are barely existing now, or do you think this is one more push off the precipice?  Let’s make it HARDER to produce jiobs. Does this sound like a viable plan for economic growth?

          @Kissitgoodbye @Whackajig @LarryChambers @cactusbob I just read an article about the seven things that makes a liberal a liberal.        Nah, Larry or Leroy, I have no more respect for anyone who voted for ovomit black white or green.  It is just that of the blacks who are not too lazy to vote, overwhelmingly they vote for the food stamps rather than for the party which encourages self reliance, indiviual responsibility, personal freedoms, hard work and less government dependence.  The blacks who have these qualities did not vote for the muslim ovomit.

        • downenray

          @Whackajig  There are no “truths about blacks” which do not equally apply to people of other races. I know many fine negroes and many fine Caucasians. And some bums of each race. Obamacare will be equally bad regardless of the race of the citizens affected by it.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @LarryChambers You could become rich by expressing your Racist views on MSNBC..You’d be a constant guest and  always treated like a king.

        • Whackajig

          @downenray
           You are dead wrong.  There are many “truths” about blacks which are not true about whites.  For instance, AIDS is prevalent among blacks at a rate 10 times higher than in whites.  Further, unemployment is astronomical among blacks compared to white unemployment.  Black graduation from High School is far below that of whites.  Did you know that the ten poorest nations in all of the world, are all in africa?  Do you think that because their population is nearly all black had anything to do with their poverty?  I do not have space to enumerate all of the stats which show how much worse crime is among blacks as compared to their white counterparts.

          If you wannabe N lovers would cease being politically correct and do a litte investigation, you would find that blacks are radically different than whites, and not just in skin color.  I am indebted to a black man, Thomas Crapper, who I am told invented the modern flush toilet.

          @downenray
           Thanks for recognizing that there are good and bad in every race.  However, when one race is as generally filthy, nasty drug and crime infested and disease ridden as the blacks and add that over 95% of them vote for the food stamp party, I lose respect for most members. I am also glad that you recognize that “Ns” come in both black and white.  Be aware that what yoou call my prejudice is a perception based of my own observations.  I have just a low opinion of N lovers too.

           You must be one of the more stupid lovers of blacks.  How often must I pound it into your thick skull that skin color is not the deciding factor.  It is lifestyle and I despise every one who lives a detestable filthy nasty life, not based on dermatology.  It might be that fools like you are also liars who know it is the way blacks live which is why they are almost univerally hated, but continue to bring up skin color.

          Pssssst…………………. ovomit is indeed ruining this nation, but he does not need anyone’s help.  you are wrong about ovomit wanting us to hate those with other color skins.  What he wants is for the shallow thinkers to love the darkies and for the darkies to hate the whites.  It is obvious you have not been exposed to his books, huh?

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @Whackajig  @downenray Your “truths” about Blacks are generally correct. But since MOST Blacks are excellent citizens I feel there’s much more to it. The breakdown of the family, welfare culture, no role models, pathetic attitude towards school, have all contributed toward the anti-social behavior of far too many young Black men.

          70% babies born out of wedlock are born to black women.  who was sitting on the roof in Katrina, waiting for help?  These women were not tens, had 3 or 4 kids, no hubby in sight.  I can understand  a woman manking one slip up but 3 or 4?  The welfare thing is a way of life for them, passed on to the next generation.  Democrats have told blacks they are entitled to this as over 400 years ago they were slaves.  Demos forgot to thell them the southern Demo were slave owners, started the KKK.  Eisenhower permitted blacks to live in brracks with white military, etc.  LBJ couldnt get the civil rights bill passed by his fellow Dems, more Repubs signed it.  Don;t forget George Wallace stood at the school house door in Ala forbidding black kids in and he was a Demo, Lestser  Maddox didn’t want blacks to have any rights.  Don’t forget Demo Bull Conor.  Know your history.  OLd Robert Byrd (D. WVa)  was a KKK but Dems kept that on the quiet.  Also, AIDS in Wash. DC is highest among the blacks.

        • Seymour Kleerly

          @mikeswann2mike swann True. The Black culture is screwed up for far to many of them. Many Liberal attempts to rectify the unfair disadvantage of Blacks have been far from perfect. Regardless of Dixiecrat power and efforts to keep segregation, the Democrat party today is the ONLY choice for Blacks. Like Obama, their ears hear everything and what Righties have to say about them ain’t to friendly.

    A commenter wrote, “I voted straight GOP for 30 years . . .” But then he decided he’d waste his votes instead. I feel he made a very poor decision. Many joined him in not voting against Obama, and as a result we’re stuck with an enemy in the White House for another four years. Obamacare is just the beginning of Obama’s attacks on free citizens of the U.S.A. And it was set up so that the worst parts of the law are delayed for awhile. Costs were timed to begin after the election which put Obama back in office. Worse things are on the way. Is there any way of escaping his clutches other than to secede and fight back militarily when he sends his armies after us? He aims to get us disarmed as soon as possible.

    Obama seems to be trying to demonize successful people. Isn’t this what Pol Pot did in Cambodia? Pol Pot demonized successful people. When he had fooled the poor working people of his country that the rich were evil, he was able to put guns in the hands of the youth. They removed the rich successful people that supported every thing good and decent in that country. Many of us old enough to remember know the terrible after math. Doctors, nurses, teachers, business owners, and people of wealth were taken hostage. They were put on farms and worked to death. millions died. from that time until this, the economy tanked. No jobs, no teachers to teach people how to read or do math. No doctors, no clinics, no nurses. People died of infection from a cut on their body. No one knew how to run the country. no one knew how to make a factory operate. No one knew how to do health care. Educated people, doctors, nurses, teachers that were able got out of that country and left the masses to fend for them selves. Today Cambodia is illiterate and one of the poorest countries on the earth. Obama is following the same policies of Pol Pot when he demonizes and calls educated people with money the enemy. It is scary! That is why i won’t give up my guns. They will have to pry them from my cold dead hands!

    This sounds like something my husband would say…unfortunately, he passed away 10 years ago.    I miss him terribly, but I am glad he is not witnessing what is happening to our country.  He fought in WW11 and was sent toJapan 3 weeks after the bombs were dropped.  Radiation from that, sent him to an early grave.  He was a fine man!!!

    I’m no big fan of Bush Jr.  None of these guys are quite what we think they are, but regarding the 9/11 attack, I’m convinced it was a False Flag operation due to all the evidence always suppressed or marginalized by the main stream media, even Fox won’t touch it.  The things not touched are:  The 5 dancing Israelis caught dancing on top of their white van and giving hi fives when the planes hit with cameras already set up to record the event–The leases of all 3 buildings hit were owned by Lucky Larry Silverstein who shut down the buildings prior to the hit and crews worked throughout my guess installing an explosive element the traces of which were found in the ruble–The 3rd building (#7) was obviously wired and Larry gave the orders to “pull it” and it went down too although it was never struck.  If one was wired, they ALL were–engineers said that jet fuel would not produce sufficient heat to melt the beams and the fuel immediately burnt up upon impact (that’s what all the black smoke was)–2 more vans were discovered full of explosives headed for nearby bridges driven by Mossad Agents (Israeli secret service)–the investigation was conducted by the Port Authority and was also headed up by a guy sympathetic to the extreme Zionist agenda–Both planes left from airports with Israeli security firms in charge.  There’s more like Chertoff making sure all the Mossad agents were released and allowed to go back safely to Israel.  No news medias will cover this but we launched a long, unconstitutional  and painful and costly (in human terms as well as money) war that benefited Israel.   Hmmm.  I’m all for helping Israel but not when they infiltrate our government, raid our treasuries through the Fed, and send our kids out to get their arms and legs blown off for their benefit.   If you’ll read my book, PARASITE!, (available on Amazon) you’ll be able to get a broader picture of who is behind all this crap.  Don’t jump to conclusions and start “blaming the Jews”, that wouldn’t be accurate.  Pray for truth and peace.

      @jimmyraschel All these claims are fabricated and foolish. For shame!

      • http://jimmylongshot.net jimmyraschel

        @downenray The claims re 9/11 are not unfounded.  too many inconsistencies exist that were never addressed.  Rather than dismissing them, take a moment and honestly evaluate what is being said.  Google what I brought up.   Also consider the political manipulation of the Pearl Harbor attack, the Israeli attack on the Intel ship USS Liberty,  and so many other occurrences involving the Israeli secret service.  And while you’re doing it keep in mind the motto of the Mossad:  ” BY DECEPTION THOU SHALT DO WAR”  The shame lies with you and I hope you’re not a shill as your remarks suggest that possibility.  “…..You can’t fool all the people all the time”  (Abe Lincoln)

    Yes!  I am all for impeachment…as quickly as possible!  Joe Biden also, he and Obama are “bookends” in my opinion!  I have received e-mails that Obama will stay in power thru 2016 and then beyond.

    I pray daily that this will not happen.  If it does, America is doomed and I am praying that Obama is impeached and out of office immediately afterward.

  • bobmann101

    Obama has the money and power backing him so all he has to do is what he is told. I believe he will remain in charge until his big money string pulling puppet masters are finished with him then he will somehow be eliminated. Due to voter fraud placing Obama in office 2 times I am sure the Democrats will take control of Congress after the 2014 elections. Then Obama will appoint his Supreme Court Justices and that will be the last nail in America’s coffin. I do not think anything or anyone can stop the Obama machine. I also believe the only reason he is sending planes and tanks to the Middle East is to help wipe Israel off the map. The US will be next.

      @bobmann101 / Our military will not forget what our politicians did to them in Bengazi. When they are given order to attack their fellow Americans, they WILL remember! They took an oath to our constitution. They will NOT let us down !
